Paper Sweeties New Sweet Kit

It's time for a brand new 4th Quarter Sweet Kit and Paper Sweeties, and that means you can get ALL these beautiful products for one low price.  This Sweet Kit also includes the newest Sweet Mini Duo called Seasons/Seasons Add-Ons, and it's a darling little set that includes the large font (each season) and then little accent words to go along with it the seasons (see photo below).
In addition to that, you will receive a 6x6 Doodlebug patterned paper pad, a lovely sequin mix, Doodlebug Ephemera, several cute Doodlebug DoodlePops, Green Apple Seam Binding, and  everything you need to create fun projects like the ones I'm sharing today.  Ever since I opened my "pretty pink package" from Paper Sweeties containing ALL these goodies in the new Sweet Kit, I've been having an absolutely blast creating with it.
This first card started with a pice of burnt orange corrugated cardboard to which I added a piece of the green checkered patterned paper from the Doodlebug paper pad.  I did a bit of machine stitching, and I painted the cool acrylic pumpkin (found in the Sweet Kit) and added some natural burlap and a piece of the Green Apple Seam Binding (also from Sweet Kit) to tie my bow.
There are several Sequins on my acrylic pumpkin along with some prills and several of the Doodlebug Ephemera pieces (hearts, leaves, bug, etc.) as well as some more of the darling Doodlebug DoodlePops (crows, bug).  There are just SO many cute things in this Sweet Kit.....I got a little carried away and started loading them onto this card.  It's pretty CUTE stuff, I must say.  The darling sentiment (Hello Y'all) is from the new Sweet Mini Duo: Seasons which is also included in the Sweet Kit.
For my second card today, I used ONLY pieces from the Sweet Kit - just to show you how easy it is to use these products to whip up a fast and easy card.  I used brown cardstock and two of the Doodlebug patterned papers.  I machine stitched them together in brown thread, and I ran a piece of the Green Apple Seam Binding across the card.
Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy - there you go.  The scarecrow, sunflowers, pumpkin and bug are all Doodlebug DoodlePops; and are also included in the Sweet Kit.  They make card-making SO easy and fun.  The only thing on this card that's not included in the Sweet Kit is that little yellow doily.  Everything else is at your fingertips; including the cute sentiment banner which is included in the Doodlebug Ephemera.
I know that my super talented teammates have prepared some really awesome cards to inspire you.  If you click on their names below, you will be taken directly to each person's blog post for today.  You won't want to miss out on all this FAB inspiration, or on getting YOUR Sweet Kit before they're all sold out again.

Happy crafting, everyone.  I hope to see you all again tomorrow.
Blessings,
Karen

Paper Sweeties Sweet Kit Sneak Peek

How exciting!  Today we're giving you all a PEEK at the brand new 4th Quarter Sweet Kit from Paper Sweeties.  These FUN kits come out once per quarter, and they are FILLED with cute supplies to help you create oodles of cute cards and projects.  This month's kit includes a darling 6x6 Doodlebug patterned paper pad, a sequin mix, several adorable Doodlebug DoodlePops, Green Apple Seam Binding, a cute acrylic pumpkin, and Doodlebug ephemera.  Here's a photo of everything you'll receive in this Sweet Kit.
OH....and there's also a SALE taking place this month at Paper Sweeties, so this is a great time to pick up a few new cute products for your crafting.  You can get 25% OFF all Paper Sweeties Dolls (stamps and cuts), and ALL the fabulous Boutique (outfit sets) for the Sweeties using coupon code BOO.  There are also some discounted discontinued stamps and other bargains, so be sure to stop by and treat yourself.
For today's post, I made this cute Birthday card.  I did this to show just how incredibly versatile this 4th Quarter Sweet Kit is.  At first glance, you might guess that this Sweet Kit is just seasonal; but that's not the case as you can see here.  I used black and white cardstocks and attached a cute blue plaid patterned paper from the 6x6 Doodlebug paper pad found in the 4h Quarter Sweet Kit to create my base.
I did a bit of machine stitching in black around the outer edge, and the sentiment (Happy Birthday) is a piece of the Doodlebug Ephemera from the Sweet Kit.  I also added some of the adorable Doodlebug DoodlePops (coffee cup, coffee beans, birds) found in the 4th Quarter Sweet Kit as accents.  You'll see some various patterned papers that I attached, and one of them was cut using the Stitched Tags #1Sweet Cuts tag, and is tied with some Pink Baker's Twine.
As is the case every time I receive my Sweet Kits (or any other product from Paper Sweeties), I get SO excited and just start creating like crazy.  I mean, come on!  How CUTE are all these goodies?  They just make card-making SO easy.   Because this cute Birthday card has a coffee theme, I wanted to include a place for a coffee gift card.  SO......to finish the inside of this fun card, I used the same colors and Doodlebug patterned paper (along with some other patterned paper scraps) to create the card base.  I attached a small kraft bag to tuck in a Starbucks gift card.  On the front of that little bag, I used the Wishing You Stamp Set to stamp the sentiment.  I also used the Sweet Borders Sweet Cuts to make the cute little scalloped borders.  This last photo (below) shows you the gift card that I tucked inside that cute little bag/envelope.  Paper Sweeties makes it easy to create cute cards and projects.  This new 4th Quarter Sweet Kit is filled with darling stamps, patterned papers and accessories that will provide endless hours of creativity.
Below, you'll find the direct links to the blogs of my talented Paper Sweeties teammates who have prepared something to inspire you today.  We have three new DT Members who are ready to inspire you, so please take a moment to stop by and say hello by clicking on the links above.

Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope to see you again tomorrow and Saturday.  Have a happy and creative week, everyone; and don't forget to stop by Paper Sweeties to grab your 4th Quarter Sweet Kit before they're sold out - I know you'll LOVE it as much as I do.  By the way, the winner of my National Coffee Week drawing for a set of free Doodlebug DoodlePops from Paper Sweeties is...Bunny.  Congrats, Bunny, and thank you to everyone who left a comment.

Karen

It's Paper Sweeties New Release Rewind Day

It's that time again when we do our Release Rewind at Paper Sweeties, and I sure hope you didn't miss out on purchasing one of the 3rd Quarter Sweet Kits from Paper Sweeties before they sell out again.  AND...there are some great SALES taking place as well.   The Sweet Kits tend to sell out quickly, so if you see one that you like, you'll want to grab it quickly.  I have SO much fun and endless hours of creativity each time I get a new Sweet Kit.
I started this card with white cardstock and added some of bright FUN patterned papers from the 6x6 Doodlebug Paper Pad included in the Sweet Kit.  I also used the patterned paper to cut the Square Scalloped Frames and the Small (circle) Tag Dies.  I added some solid baker's twine to the top of each tag.
I used the DARLING new stamp sets and sweet cuts (also included in the 3rd Quarter Sweet Kit) to stamp and cut the telephones...the old school rotary telephone and the IPhone.  Aren't they adorable?  The sentiment (Hello) is also in the stamp set.  The ephemera strip (My Sweet Friend) is a Doodle Bug Chit Chat ephemera from the Sweet Kit.  This Sweet Kit contains SO many bright and fun Doodlebug goodies, and the stamps and sweet cuts are SO super cute.  I mean, come on....the IPhone itself is so relevant right now, right?
I made a second card to share with you today.  This one uses NO stamps.  It uses mostly the Doodlebug "goodies" included in the Sweet Kit.  It started with a white cardstock base that I covered with the gold foil/white stripe patterned paper from the 6x6 Doodlebug Paper Pad and a floral print from the same paper pad.  That was the base.
I cut the small tag using a cute pink gingham paper found in the Doodle Paper Pad by using the Stitched Tags #1 Sweet Cuts and added some baker's twine.  I added lots of the cute Doodlebug Doodle Pops (3-D stickers) found in the Sweet Kit.  Many of them have the gold accents, and they're all SO pretty.  This card shows you how easy it is make a cute card using those cute embellishments and goodies from the Sweet Kit.  Paper Sweeties makes crafting EASY and FUN.
My talented teammates have also prepared some amazing projects to inspire you.  They would really appreciate your visits, as I know I sure do.  I've listed their blog links below for your convenience.  Then, you can stop by Paper Sweeties to do some FUN shopping.  We enjoy inspiring you; and you will ALWAYS find so many wonderful products at Paper Sweeties.

Thanks again for visiting, and have a blessed week!

It's New Release Day at Paper Sweeties

Welcome back by today, everyone!  I'm so glad you're here as we share inspiration using the 3rd Quarter Sweeet Kit from Paper Sweeties that you can now purchase.  It is FILLED with the sweetest new stamp sets, coordinating dies (sweet cuts), patterned papers, seam binding, and Doodlebug embellishments galore.  Ever since I opened my "pretty pink package", I haven't been able to keep my hands off these FUN products.  That's ALWAYS the case with my Paper Sweeties' orders.
For my first card today, I started with a navy (and golden/yellow) cardstock base, and then I attached a piece of floral patterned paper from the 6x6 Doodlebug Paper Pad that you'll find in the Sweet Kit.  Once I had my papers all attached and in place, I used the adorable new stamp sets found in the 3rd Quarter Sweet Kit to stamp the sentiment (Blessed To Have You As My Friend).  Aren't these colors just SO bright, cheerful and fun?
I also ran a piece of the Doodlebug Washi Tape found in this Sweet Kit across my card.  Then, I used some Cookie Dough Seam Binding along with the Raspberry Seam Binding from the Sweet Kit along with some Blueberry Baker's Twine to create a pretty bow.  I topped that with a Doodlebug 3-D flower from the Sweet Kit.
There are several Doodlebug Stickers in the Sweet Kit, and I used some of them here and there (mostly flowers and leaves, the bird and heart, and the house) to adorn my card.  Tomorrow I will be sharing another card using some of the darling images from the new stamp sets.  They are SO cute, and I'm super excited to share more with you.  Speaking of which.......
My second card has a white cardstock base and more of those delightful Doodlebug patterned papers that you'll receive in your Sweet Kit.  I took another piece of white cardstock and used the stamps (also in Sweet Kit) to stamp the rotary telephones and the word Hello on the background.  I stamped them randomly here and there to create a fun background.  They're just SO cute.
I ran a piece of the sweet Candy Hearts Doodlebug Washi Tape (included in Sweet Kit) across my card.  You'll also receive a package of sweet little sequettes (a what?  well, not really a "sequin" - so I call them "sequettes"; as they're flat, they come in different sizes, and they're iridescent so they somehow grab the colors around them).  I placed them here are there.
I cut the small tag using Sweet Cuts Stitched Tags #1 and ran some solid baker's twine through the hole.  I used the darling Doodlebug Doodle Pops (telephone and hello) and placed that on the tag.  There are SO many cute products in this Sweet Kit, and it's SO much fun creating with them.  I do hope you'll stop by Paper Sweeties and treat yourself to something new.  Go ahead, you deserve it.

Have a wonderful day, and I will hope to see you again tomorrow.  Thanks so much for visiting me.  It's always appreciated.  Until tomorrow, take care and have a blessed day.  I'm always SO grateful when you stop my blog and I hope you've enjoyed your visit.  Stay creative, friends.

Blessings,
Karen

It's Sneak Peek Day at Paper Sweeties

Hello, and welcome by today as we tell you about some great SALES and give you a Sneak Peek at the 3rd Quarter Sweet Kit and darling new stamp set and coordinating sweet cuts that come in this delightful kit.  As with everything at Paper Sweeties, you're gonna LOVE these new stamps and all the AMAZING goodies included in the new Sweet Kit.  Here's a peek at what you will receive in the 3rd Quarter Sweet Kit.
If you sign up for the Sweet Kit Subscription, you will receive $5 off each kit.  Of course, you can also purchase them separately.  Let me just say that this kit is AWESOME and it's packed FULL of darling products to help you create adorable cards and projects.  I know I'll be using these stamps, dies and accessories over and over again.  They're just SO sweet.
For this card, I used a white cardstock to make a slimline base.  I used the Square Scalloped Edge Frames Sweet Cuts and I cut three of the cute squares from the same white cardstock as the base.  I used some 3-D foam tabs to raise the Scalloped Square edges a bit.  I used the darling new stamp set found in the 3rd Quarter Sweet Kit to stamp the word Hello in the center of the second square.  I also used the sweet flower and leaf stamps from this same set to adorn the squares and give them a pop of color.
I added some Marshmallow Sequins and Bubblegum Sequins to the top and bottom squares.  I just LOVE the Sequins from Paper Sweeties.  They unique and unlike any other sequins at any shop I've ever known.  The Sequins at Paper Sweeties are flower shaped or kinda "cupped" if you will.  Sometimes I enjoy placing a tiny pearl accent in their centers.  They're just SO cute and they come in so many lovely colors.
The 3rd Quarter Sweet Kit contains these (two) darling stamp sets with adorable images (flower, leaf, IPhone, traditional phone) as well as darling sentiments (the word FRIEND, and several other inter-changeable sentiments) that make the set super versatile for many different occasions.  The Sweet Kit also contains a 6x6 Doodlebug Paper Pad, Doodlebug stickers, Doodlebug Gems, Doodlebug ephemera, Doodlebug washi tape, seam binding, and all sorts of lovely little accents.  My teammates and I will be sharing projects using the sweet new stamp sets and the 3rd Quarter Sweet Kit over the next few days.  You can see their projects each day by clicking on the links below.

Thanks so much for visiting me today.  I really do hope you'll stop by Paper Sweeties to take a peek, get some inspiration and to see all the amazing products waiting for you there.  Have a blessed and creative week, and please stop by again tomorrow and Friday.  I sure do enjoy your visits.

Blessings,
Karen

Paper Sweeties April Sneak Peeks

Ready for a PEEK or two?  Well, it's here and we hope you will be one of the lucky people to pick up the brand new FABULOUS Paper Sweeties 2nd Quarter Sweet Kit and the DARLING new Homemade Mini Duo Stamp Set and coordinating Sweet Cuts that come along with it.  As I predicted, the last Sweet Kit sold out in just a few short days.  This Sweet Kit is FULL of wonderful products including a DARLING new stamp set, new coordinating sweet cuts, Doodlebug papers and embellishments, baker's twine, seam binding, sequins, and SO much more.  Just take a look at all you get with this darling new Sweet Kit.
For my first project today, I'm sharing this sweet little card I made to give y'all a "peek" at what's in store with this WONDERFUL 2nd Quarter Sweet Kit.  It has the cutest big Easter eggs to decorate, lots of Doodlebug goodies (as always), the adorable teal baker's twine I used on this card, the Doodlebug ephemera I used for the title (CUPCAKE), and I used the new Homemade Mini Duo Stamp Set to stamp the words (for you) and (with love).  Isn't that font just SO sweet?  You'll find ALL this, and more, in this Sweet Kit.
I also stamped the oven mitts using the new Homemade Mini Duo Stamp Set and used the coordinating Sweet Cuts to cut them once I'd colored the images with  my Copics.  I stamped the miniature cupcakes using the Sweet Mini Duo Stamp Set from the 1st Quarter Sweet Kit; which is sold out, but you can still purchase this darling Mini Stamp Set individually here in the Sweet Mini Duo.  They're just the cutest!  The tops of the little cupcakes were colored with my Copics, and the bottoms were stamped onto a polka dot patterned paper from the 6x6 Doodlebug paper pad.
My final touches include adding several of the glimmery wonderful flat sequins which are also found in the 2nd Quarter Sweet Kit.  Everything in this Sweet Kit works perfectly to help you create SO many wonderful projects.  It's literally a pretty pink envelope filled with wonderful creativity and endless possibilities.  And when the other goodies are gone, you'll always have the stamps and cuts to add to your collection.  They're such versatile stamps for every occasion.  How cute are those little oven mitts found in the new Homemade Mini Duo Stamp Set? 💗
My second card, shown below, started with a deep yellow cardstock base to which I added a fun plaid multi-colored patterned paper from the 6x6 Doodlebug paper pad found in the Sweet Kit.  I also attached other patterned papers to this card including one that I cut a border with using the Sweet Borders Sweet Cuts.  I did some machine stitching in green, and I ran a length of the darling Doodlebug washi tape (also found in Sweet Kit).
I tied a bow that includes Cookie Dough Seam Binding and the Teal Baker's Twine (both from the Sweet Kit).  I added two of the darling 3-D acrylic Doodlebug Cupcake Stickers and several of the darling little Doodlebug acrylic sprinkles.  I also used the new Mini Duo:Homemade Stamp Set for the words (with love).  The banner at the top is from the Doodlebug ephemera package (in Sweet Kit).
And because I've been unable to keep my hands off all these DARLING supplies.....yes, it's yet another card.  I was so inspired by the card my teammate, Larissa, shared during the recent coffee hop.  I used her design for this last card I'm sharing today.  It uses several of the Doodlebug patterned papers found in the Sweet Kit.  The grass part was created by hand cutting the angles at top, and then I used Pea Pod Ink to distress the bottom with color.  Finally, I stamped the grass, again in Pea Pod Ink, using the grass patch found in the Home & Garden:Add-On Stamp Set.
I cut the coffee cup from a Doodlebug patterned paper using the Keep Calm and Drink Coffee Sweet Cuts.  The swirls and images were all stamped in Coal Black Ink.  The swirls are found in the Sweet Borders Stamp Set.  The chick is found in the What's Up Chickie Stamp Set, the sign is stamped with Coal Ink and distressed with Fog Ink Pad using the Garden Time Sweet Cuts, #blessed is from Happy Fall Y'all Stamp Set, and the egg is from the Jelly Bean Time Stamp Set.  I did some machine stitching, and added a Marshmallow Sequin to hide a stitching mistake.  (just being honest)
Here are the links to the blogs of my talented teammates at Paper Sweeties.  I know you won't want to miss all their fabulous creativity and inspiration waiting for you at each blog; and I'm guessing they'd appreciate your visits and comments as much as I do.  I know that I'm surely grateful for every single visit, comment, follower and blog friend who takes the time to stop by my blog.  You will, no doubt, be very inspired by these creative gals.  Thanks again for stopping by, and please visit again tomorrow for another day of inspiration and fun.  Seriously....I can't keep my hands off this DARLING Sweet Kit.

Until tomorrow.....blessings,
Karen
