Sweet Mini Duos at Paper Sweeties

The Sweet Mini Duo used to create this sweet "kitchy" card is called Homemade Sweet Mini Duo: Homemade.  As you can see, this set contains several adorable little images that are great for card-making and for decorating recipe cards and mini albums (perhaps with decorated recipes tucked in the pockets).  The creative possibilities using the Sweet Mini Duo: Homemade.  I also used Coal Black Ink and some Doodlebug Ephemera on this card.

Sweet Mini Duos From Paper Sweeties

Hello, friends!  Well, if you haven't yet figured out what a Sweet Mini Duo is; I'd love to fill you in on this.  As you likely all know by now, everything from Paper Sweeties is ADORABLE.  Most every month, there's a new full-sized stamp set released with coordinating dies; which we call Sweet Cuts.  Once per quarter, Paper Sweeties releases a Sweet Mini Duo which is a smaller sized stamp set and coordinating Sweet Cuts (dies).  These sweet little sets are filled with darling images and sentiments, and there's a wide variety of themes.

The Sweet Mini Duo I'm featuring today is the Celebrate Sweet Mini Duo.  This darling little set includes a wrapped gift box, a cupcake, and all sorts of sweet images and sentiments.  I used a white and a golden cardstock base for this card, and then added a Doodlebug patterned paper.  I cut some of the Scalloped Square Frames in various colors and used them as journalling spots for the sweet cupcakes and sentiments.

I wrapped a length of Turquoise Baker's Twine around my card and topped it with a sweet yellow Miniature Sweetheart Blossom.  I used several different colors of ink to coordinate with the colors of my papers.  The Sweet Mini Duo Celebrate is a really great set, and there are many different sentiments to make it versatile for a variety of different occasions.  Most of the products from Paper Sweeties help you to make the most of your purchases by allowing you to use them for many reasons.

My second card uses the gift image found in the Celebrate Sweet Mini Duo.  I used white cardstock and a fun patterned paper, some machine stitching, and some inking to create my card base.  I cut a small Oval Scalloped Frame from the patterned papers to create my focal point.  The sentiment (Wonderful News) is one of many in this lovely set.  By the way.....ALL the Sweet Mini Duos are 10% OFF this month using the code SWEETMINI.

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Simon Says "Lots Of Layers" so I used several layers of patterned papers, cardstocks, and die-cuts.  I tend to use "lots of layers" most of the time...LOL.

Paper Sweeties - Sweet Mini Duos

💕What is a Sweet Mini Duo, you ask?  Well, at Paper Sweeties EVERYTHING is adorable.  Most months, there's a New Release of a full-sized stamp set and coordinating dies (which we call Sweet Cuts).  Once every quarter, there's a Sweet Kit released.  That's a pre-packaged kit which includes a smaller sized stamp set and coordinating dies; which we call a Sweet Mini Duo.  The Sweet Kits tend to sell out quickly.  However, every now and then we have extra sets of the Sweet Mini Duos  (smaller stamp sets with coordinating dies/Sweet Cuts).  This month, we are featuring projects that use some of these ADORABLE Sweet Mini Duos.  They are so cute, and SO much fun.  Today I'm sharing TWO sweet cards using one of my favorite Sweet Mini Duos - Sweater Weather.

This card started with a white cardstock base to which a machine stitched an orange patterned paper.  Next, I took another scrap of white cardstock and created an inked background using oxide ink.  I used the Sweet Mini Duo called Sweater Weather to stamp and cut the coffee mug with sentiment and the leaves.  I also used the Sweet Mini Duo called Home to stamp and cut the cute little pumpkins.  All the stamps and sweet cuts from Paper Sweeties are SO cute that it's really kind of impossible to go wrong.

I also ran some Robin Egg Seam Binding across the bottom of my card.  I used another length of the Robin Egg Seam Binding along with a length of Orange Creamsicle Seam Binding and some Black Licorice Baker's Twine to create my bow.  I also layered some Robin Egg Sequins, Cookie Dough Sequins and Creamsicle Sequins to decorate my card.  These Sequins are cup-shaped/flower-shaped and oh, so cute and unique from any other Sequins.  Oh, and guest what!!!  .....ALL the Sweet Mini Duos are 10% OFF for the Month of September - use code SWEETMINI.

My second card uses a black and a golden cardstock base and a piece of Autumn leaves patterned paper as well as a white cardstock that I used Cut Grass Oxide Ink to decorate.  I stamped and cut the adorable sweaters using the Sweater Weather Sweet Mini Duo, and I placed the sweaters on the inked background, and put some tea-stained mini clothespins on one of the sweaters.  The sentiments I used are also found in the Sweater Weather Mini Duo - as are the images in my first card as detailed above.  It's a super cute, super versatile set.
