Like I say all the time, Stamp Simply always has the perfect sentiment, stamp, scripture, image, etc. for every message you might need to send someone. Today I'm sharing a card with you that I don't make very often. In fact, I try to avoid making Wedding Cards as much as possible. However, when I saw this fabulous stamp set, I knew that I had to give it a try.
I used a black cardstock base layered with an ivory cardstock layer. Next, I used a piece of periwinkle cardstock and ran it through my Sizzix with the Tim Holtz Doily Embossing Folder to give it that fabulous texture. I used my scissors and fussy cut the embossed image to add a layer of fun texture. The stamp set I used is the Happy Iris Stamp Set. The first part of the sentiment was stamped onto a circle cut using the Spellbinders Nestabilities Circle Dies.
I framed the image using Purple Seam Binding, Cream Seam Binding and Purple Baker's Twine. I topped the bow with a pretty Purple Flower. I added a rusty clip that holds a sweet tiny charm. I found those charms in my stash of old things and thought I'd start using them on projects. This is really a very simple and basic card. It's very easy to make, and you can find ALL the supplies you'll need to re-create this (or something like it) when you shop at Stamp Simply.
Thanks so much for visiting me here today. I'm always over the moon excited when I read your comments and hear what you think about my cards. I appreciate you so much and I look forward to visiting you out there on social media and blogs.
