Love Notes w/Stamp Simply

Hello, sweet friends, and welcome by my little old blog today.  Here we are in 2026, and this is my first post of the year for Stamp Simply.  If you've never been over to Stamp Simply, please treat yourself to this wonderful store.  They carry the loveliest scripture stamps, sentiment stamps, floral images, patriotic images, and...well, I could go on and on because they carry a little bit of just about everything.  Their variety of products is vast and amazing.

The card I'm sharing today starts with basic kraft cardstock.  I several die-cuts to layer my background.  First, I used an older (retired) Spellbinders Die.  This isn't the exact set I used, but it's similar.  Please note that many of the Spellbinders Dies are currently 50% OFF in the Stamp Simply Store.  They'll do the same trick for you to create an outer edge or backdrop for your card.  You have to get creative with what you've got on hand.  For that reason, I used the pretty Ovals & Twigs Die Set to cut and layer my ovals.  On each corner of my card, I stamped a foliage sprig; and these are found in the darling Farmhouse Signage Stamp Set.

All the sweet patterned papers I used on this card are from the Echo Park Love Notes 6x6 Paper Pad.  I simply adore these sweet papers....all year long, but most especially around Valentine's Day.  The heart in the center of my card is one of three sizes of hearts found in the sweet Farmhouse Pierced Nested Heart Dies.  I raised the heart up a bit using some 3-D Adhesive Foam Tabs to give it dimension.  The sentiment I used is found in the Farmhouse Scriptural Thoughts Stamp Set, and I fussy cut around the stamped sentiment on a piece of light kraft cardstock.  I splattered pretty much everything with either oxide ink and/or acrylic paints.  I also added a pretty bow that includes 1/8" Blue Silk Ribbon and 1/4" Pink Silk Ribbon.  I topped that with a Coconut (White) Paper Bloom and tucked in a lovely Pink Darice Stick Pin.

With Love from Stamp Simply

As Valentine's Day approaches, you can be sure to find all the perfect stamps, dies and products to help you create beautiful cards when you shop at Stamp Simply.  In fact, Stamp Simply carries the perfect sentiments, scriptures, images and products to help you create beautiful cards all year long no matter what theme you're desiring.  They have it all.

This card uses a glittery gold cardstock (from Michael's) along with a piece of cream cardstock.  I used Spellbinders Nested Pierced Rectangle Dies to cut both pieces.  On the cream paper, I used Kitsch Oxide Ink to paint the background.  Next. I used Antique Linen Oxide Ink to stamp all the sweet "love" sentiments.  Like I mentioned, Stamp Simply has so many great sentiments to use for every occasion.  The sets I used for the various sentiments and "swirls/doodles" include the Happy Day Iris Stamp Set, Love Stamp Set, Thinking of You Rose, Daisy Pitcher Stamp Set and the Wedding Wishes Stamp Set.

I used the sweet Nested Hearts Steel Dies to cut the three sizes of hearts, and I used patterned papers from the Echo Park Love Notes 6x6 Paper Pad and the Carta Bella My Valentine 6x6 Paper Pad to cut them.  The other goodies I used on my card include Rich Pastels (Gold) Seam Binding, Natural Crochet Lace, May Arts Gold Metallic String, and a pretty Pink Paper Flower.  Are you ready for Valentine's Day?

To Say I Love You w/Stamp Simply

Are you ready for Valentine's Day?  I've been having FUN making some pretty Valentine's Day cards using the lovely products from Stamp Simply.  At Stamp Simply Clear Stamps, you'll be sure to find the perfect stamps with every sentiment and image to help you make beautiful cards for every occasion.  They have such a wide variety of high-quality stamps and dies.  I always enjoy using these wonderful products.  AND.....there's a SALE right now where you can SAVE 20% on all in-stock stamps and dies.  You won't want to miss that.

For this card, I used a black cardstock base and some patterned papers from the Carta Bella My Valentine 6x6 Paper Pad to create the base.  I ran a length of the lovely .5" Venice Katrina Ivory Lace down the side of my card to separate the two patterned papers.  I also tied on a length of Pink Baker's Twine, tied it in a knotted bow, tucked in some Floral Stamens, and topped it with a sweet Green Mulberry Flower, Red Mulberry Flower and Pink Mulberry Flower.

I used the Floral Cluster Spring Pansies Stamp Set to stamp the beautiful floral cluster and I colored it with my Copics.  I added some tiny floral prills to the centers of the flowers for added texture and color.  I also used the Floral Cluster Spring Pansies Stamp Set for the stamped sentiment (To Say I Love You).  I stamped it onto a strip that I cut using the wonderful Fishtail Banner Dies and I inked it just a bit.  I added more of the tiny floral prills to the sentiment strip.  I cut the Floral Cluster using the coordinating Floral Cluster & Sprigs Dies; which match will all four seasons/designs of the Floral Clusters.

Happy Valentine's Day w/Stamp Simply

Well, here we are in the beginning of January already; and that means Valentine's Day is just one month away.  WOW, time flies by us so quickly and it will be here before we know it.  Today I'm sharing two sweet Valentine's Day cards using a few awesome products from Stamp Simply.  Most of us don't send out Valentine's Day cards; but perhaps we should.  It's a great time and opportunity to tell those we love that we really are thinking about them.  Spread a little LOVE.

I used basic black cardstock and some pretty patterned papers from the Carta Bella My Valentine 6x6 Patterned Paper Pad.  I used the sweet Farmhouse Pierced Nested Heart Dies to cut the three different sizes of hearts included in this set.  The largest one was cut from burgundy wool felt and the other two from patterned papers found in the Carta Bella My Valentine 6x6 Patterned Paper Pad. I machine stitched the edges of the card and also ran a straight stitch with cream thread down the center of the hearts.  I enjoy the texture that machine stitching adds.

I placed the hearts as the focal point of my card and positioned them on a white doily.  The sentiment I used (Happy Valentine's Day) can be found in the Typewritten Year-Round Greetings Stamp Set.  There are so many FABULOUS basic sentiments in this awesome set that you'll use all year long on a variety of needed cards.  I stamped it onto a Fishtail Banner Die and inked it a bit to add extra color.  At the bottom of this sweet card, I used Solid Black Baker's Twine to wrap my card and tie a bow that's topped with a pretty Sage Flower.

My second card for today starts with basic white cardstock and more of the gorgeous papers found in the Carta Bella My Valentine 6x6 Patterned Paper Pad.  I did some machine stitching around the edges.  I used another piece of basic white cardstock to stamp the darling images that are found in the Stick Family Stamp Set.  Each of the sentiments I used are also found in the Stick Family Stamp Set.  The hearts I stamped are found in the Farmhouse Signage Stamp Set.

I added a piece of .5" Katarina Ivory Lace and a length of Red Chevron Ribbon to my card.  The bow is tied with a length of the Red Chevron Ribbon and topped with a Sage Mulberry Flower.  There are lots of great ribbons, trims, embossing folders, stencils and SO much more.  The wonderful stamps and dies are just the beginning of ALL that awaits you.
