Welcome Baby Boy

There's nothing as sweet as a newborn baby.  Whether it's a friend, a family member, a church member, neighbor or stranger; it's always FUN to make a sweet baby card to help someone welcome their new little one.  At Stamp Simply, you will find several amazing Baby Themed Stamps & Dies along with stamps, sentiments and dies for every occasion throughout the year that you can think of needing.  I love being able to pull out a baby card like this one when I need it.  And the expectant Mothers always love receiving a hand-made card.

I used a "wheaty" white paper (it has little grains and flecks in the paper - one of these little flecks showed up in the "crotch" area of the Onesie where the buttons are...lol) as my card base.  I layered that with a patterned paper from the Echo Park School Rules 6x6 Paper Pad.  I don't own the cute Echo Park It's a Boy 6x6 Paper Pad or I would have likely used that on my card.  Sometimes, we just have to make it work with what we have on hand; so instead, I used the Echo Park School Rules 6x6 Paper Pad and Echo Park Farmer's Market 6x6 Paper Pad for the background, the Onesie, Bib, Safety Pins, and all the little banners.

Using those papers listed above, I cut the small banners using the Fishtail Banner Dies.  The sentiment was stamped onto another banner cut with the Fishtail Banner Dies, and I used some Graphite Black Ink and the sweet Welcome Baby Stamp Set to stamp the sentiment.  The Onesie, Bib, Safety Pins, and Star were all cut using the darling Baby Basics Die Set.  There are so many paper pads, dies, stamps, stencils and wonderful products waiting for you at Stamp Simply.  We'd all love to have you stop by the Stamp Simply Blog for some inspiration, and the Stamp Simply Store for some fun shopping.

For This Child I Prayed w/Stamp Simply

Thanks for stopping by today, sweet blog friends.  I hope you've been busy making cards and crafts, taking part in the fun blog hops taking place this Spring, and enjoying yourselves indoors and outdoors.  It's always a trat to have you stop by, and I appreciate your visits very much.  Today I'm sharing a sweet card that I created for Stamp Simply Clear Stamps using some of their FABULOUS stamps and dies.

As it turns out, I needed to make a baby card for someone very dear to me who shared a "special secret" with me last week.  As always, I knew that Stamp Simply would help me to make something beautiful and meaningful.  I used red cardstock layered with Echo Park patterned papers from their Love Notes 6x6 Paper Pad and then a piece of inked white cardstock.  The sentiment was stamped using the Welcome Baby Stamp Set, and the baby outfit and diaper pins were cut using the Welcome Baby Basics Steel Dies.

I wrapped a length of Black Canvas/Twill Ribbon as well as piece of Light Green Seam Binding around my card and tied a bow with it.  I topped the ribbon treatment with a Red Paper Bloom Rose.  There are so many fabulous stamps, dies and more at Stamp Simply.  You're almost always sure to find the perfect stamps for every sentiment, scripture and occasion/event on our lives' calendars.  There's always lots of great inspiration on the Stamp Simply Blog. as well as information about special sales and promotions.

The second version of this card is shown below.  The only difference is that I added the cute little baby bib that's also found in the Welcome Baby Basics Steel Dies.  This sweet set makes it easy to create adorable baby cards for both baby boys and baby girls, and the sentiments in the Welcome Baby Stamp Set give you so many wonderful options.  I created the "tutu" on the baby's Onesie by gathering a small piece of Cheesecloth and wrapping it around the outfit.  The flowers that adorn the top of this "tutu" were cut using the tiny flower dies also found in the Welcome Baby Basics Steel Dies.

Welcome Baby Boy w/Stamp Simply

Hello, sweet blog friends, and welcome by my blog.  Thanks so much for stopping by to take a peek at this fun little baby boy card I created using a few wonderful products from Stamp Simply.  I used basic black cardstock layered with basic white cardstock to create this card base.  As always, I knew I could count on Stamp Simply to have the perfect stamps and dies to help me create a card for a new baby boy.

I used some bright fun patterned papers from the Echo Park School Rules 6x6 Paper Pad to layer my base as well as to cut all the die-cut pieces on my card.  I used the Welcome Baby Stamp Set to stamp the sentiments onto a journalling spot cut using a Spellbinders Amazing Grace Hemstitch Circle Die.  I also rubbed that with a bit of oxide ink.  All the adorable little die-cut pieces (onesie, bib, rattle, diaper pins, flowers, etc.) can be found in the Welcome Baby Basics Dies.  This set alone will allow you to make adorable cards.  All the products at Stamp Simply are awesome on their own and/or when combined with other Stamp Simply products.  They all complement one another so nicely; yet work on their own so beautifully as well.

I added some Green May Arts Wrinkle Ribbon and some Red Baker's Twine to my card.  I love the depth, texture and feel that ribbon(s) can add to a card or project.  As you can see, the images are what  make this card really cute; and as I mentioned, you can achieve this by purchasing this set called Welcome Baby Basics Dies.  Stamp Simply really does make it SIMPLE to make cute cards.
