I'm playing along with Simon Says Stamps Blog for their challenge this week, and their theme is Christmas in August. You can read all about it and play along, too. They're giving away a $50 gift certificate. You won't want to miss this one! Here is the link so you can join in on all the fun:

I made this little card using a Making Memories Christmas line from last year. I added a Pebbles rub-on to a little snip of vintage sheet music. Pretty simple really. Some of the other designers' creations are far more elaborate. You will want to view them all. Thanks for looking!

ReplyDeleteAbsolutely Wow!!!! Karen I am your newest follower, I just got back from summer Holidays and seen your wonderful comment on my blog and couldn't resist you invitation to come and visit you....am I ever glad I did....this card is simply amazing...I love the snowflakes in the background that gives the appearance of a distressed look in the upper left corner...the lace goes hand in hand with the distressed look!!! So we have modern vintage in a way!!! I could really learn of you , what a great inspiration...thank you for visiting my blog...I am in the middle of moving from having an oil spill and once I am up and running again I will be back every day!!!!

ReplyDeleteI love all of the details and texture you put into this pretty Christmasy card. So pretty! The little tag with the safety pin is my favorite part. I love that little extra bit of shine. Thanks so much for joining us at the Simon Says Stamp Challenge!
