I am feeling crafty today. How about you? I really wanted to jump on the St. Patrick's Day/Green Challenges that are currently taking place at a few different challenge blogs, so I created this card using a new Jenni Bowlin stamp I just got.
I used patterned paper from My Mind's Eye and Girls' Paperie, half a doily, Bazzill French Vanilla cardstock, Tim Holtz Ink, my new Jenni Bowlin stamp, hand-made scrunched seam binding (color is Wheatfields), machine stitching, buttons with baker's twine, a Kaiser rub-on, and some trims.
I'm entering this card in the following challenges:
http://www.simonsaysstampschallenge.blogspot.com/2012/03/simon-says-bit-o-green.html - Simon Says - A Bit-O-Green
http://craft-roomchallenge.blogspot.com/2012/03/all-change-and-some-shabby-vintage.html - The Craft Room - Shabby Vintage Challenge
http://pileitonchallenge.blogspot.com/2012/03/pile-it-on-11-st-patricks-day-andor.html - Pile It On - St. Patrick's Day/Shades of Green Challenge
I love all three of these challenge blogs. I hope you will take the time to check out these amazing challenges if you haven't already linked up. I am also very excited for St. Patrick's Day. My husband is a "Wee Bit-O-Irish", so I always make corned beef and cabbage for dinner. And this year, I will also be trying an Irish dessert recipe that I got from my new Irish blogging friend, Lee. She shared a traditional Irish dessert recipe with me, and I'm super excited to try it.
I hope you're enjoying your week, and hope you're all "feeling crafty" as well. Thanks for stopping by, and good luck (the Luck-O-the-Irish) to you in your challenges this week.
God's blessings to you all,
Karen

ReplyDeleteHi Karen
ReplyDeleteThank you for the lovely post you left on my blog this week. I have become a follower of this blog and look forward to your posts in the days ahead. Would love you to follow mine too :D
Love the card on this page, it reminds me of an Anna Griffin design. WIsh I had more time for card making. I haven't made cards for months. We moved house and I don't have as much crafting space as I did before and may even have to give most of it away. Thankfully, I have discovered digital scrapbooking and love this media of crafting. It takes up very little room which is a bonus.
Hope you have a lovely weekend.
