God Answers Prayer

It's always exciting to see God answer prayer.  Sometimes, people tend to think that God hasn't answered their prayer simply because they didn't get the answer they wanted.  If God doesn't answer prayer the way you want Him to, that doesn't mean that He didn't answer.  It simply means that He said, "no", or that He had something else that He knew would be better than the outcome you possibly anticipated or desired.  His ways are higher, His ways are better, and His ways are always going to be according to His will.  It also, often times, takes much longer to see the answer we desire, but we must always remember that His timing is perfect.  We want results NOW and we want our way.  But, the Bible tells us that He makes all things beautiful in His time.

Today starts a new challenge at Word Art Wednesday and there's a new piece of free word art available for you on the blog.  This is the project I made using this week's word art.  This is something different for me.  I tend to make a lot of cards and mini albums, but this one is a trinket box.  I just love how it turned out.

I used a paper mache box, painted it cream, then painted on a thin layer of Modge Podge, and covered the box with vintage sheet music.  I adhered the quote to the front of the box with some little gems to accent the corners.  On the top of the box, I added a pink glass drawer pull as a handle, some Prima flowers and leaves, a music doily, and then sprayed it with spray adhesive and covered it with ultra-fine glitter.

I'm entering this project in the challenge this week at Simon Says Stamp -  Here is the link: - Mother's Day

Thanks for taking a peek.  I would love to hear your thoughts.  I just wanted to share with everyone that I saw God answer prayer this week.  It's like seeing a miracle right before your eyes.  God always answers prayer, and I praise Him for that.

Yes, we serve an awesome God who hears our prayers and our hearts. ;)

  10. I just love this! It's so sparkly and love the colors and the flowers on it. Just gorgeous!

God is good, He knows what's best for us. And He always hears our prayers. Sometimes He says no, sometimes He says wait and sometimes He says go. But His ways are always better than ours. We indeed want quick results from our prayers. But that's because we are short visioned. We want it here and now and don't see how things could be so much better in the long run.

    Have a blessed weekend!
