I was super excited this weekend when I finally learned that Two Peas in a Bucket has a blog. I happened across it, enjoyed an awesome blog hop, and even won a gift certificate to boot (woo hoo!!). So, I decided to see if they offer any challenges, and I found that they offer several. Here is a link to the challenge where my project is posted:

I took several elements from Jennifer Gallacher's layout and implemented her ideas to design this sweet little paper bag album. I definitely put my own twist on it when I "lifted" her work, but I loved so many elements from her layout that it was easy to get creative.
Thanks for taking a peek. I just got it linked up at TwoPeas. You will definitely want to check out all the fun on their new blog at www.twopeasinabucket.typepad.com and if you aren't already a Pea, you should become one today. I think I'm a "Bucket Head". . . .whatever that means. Two Peas also has one of the best and most inspirational galleries on the entire internet. You can great lots of great ideas there. Check it out today. I promise that you won't be disappointed.
I'm also entering this card in the new week's challenge at Stampin' Sisters in Christ Blog which is asking us to pile on some embellishments. I certainly did that with this project. Here is a link to their challenge:

Finally, I'm entering this project in the challenge at Paper Sundaes. Here is a link to that challenge which just started today: http://www.papersundaes.blogspot.com/2012/03/paper-sundaes-challenge-113-spring.html - Spring Blossoms
God's blessings to you,

ReplyDeleteYou've made some gorgeous cards that last few posts! Loving the beautiful colors and products you have been using. I adore the bunny behind the clear heart on this one! Well done Karen!
ReplyDeleteHi Karen! Thanks so much for stopping by my blog. I LOVE your shabby chic style and how you brought so many wonderful elements together on this card! Have a blessed day!
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful, Karen! I love the little rose paper...I love roses! Thank you for your sweet comments on my blog! The stick pin I used on the ODBD Silk Challenge Card is one I made using supplies I picked up at Michaels. I think they are mostly Bead Landing. It's just a stick pin with some pearls and bling I got that comes on a string. If you really want to see some awesome stick pins, check out my ODBD DT Sister Sabrina Jackson at http://sjbutterflydreams.blogspot.com. She's a master at these!!! Blessings! Kathy
ReplyDeleteI am normally a pink person, but I love this card - in all its shabby vintage glory! The stitching adds so much - I have yet to do it (I broke my machine the last time I tried!). Love all the rich details and, of course, those great buttons.
ReplyDeleteI love the papers you used and collage look of your card Karen. Love that heart epoxy sticker.
