Celebrating MOMS seems to be a popular theme going on at a lot of challenge blogs lately, and such is the case this week at Eureka Stamps. If you've made a "Mom" card, I encourage you to stop by and share it in our challenge for the chance to win your choice of some amazing digital stamps. It's easy and fun to play along, and you know you need to get those Mother's Day cards made. I hope that we will see you participate this week. For my card, I used Eureka Stamps digi#36404 Happy Mother's Day. This is a great digi to order because then you will always have it saved to use on ANY Mother's Day card you ever make. It could go on the front (as I've done), or on the inside of your card. You just might want to consider picking up this great sentiment to use for all your Mother's Day cards...this year, and for all the years to follow. It's a small investment for a stamp that will come in handy again and again; not to mention, the font is just beautiful.
I used Bo Bunny patterned papers, a Prima flower, some hand-made scrunched seam binding, and machine stitching, Pretty simple card, and my Mother-in-Law LOVES purple, so I think she will really love this card.

Chocolate, Coffee, Cards Challenges - Challenge #38 - Mother's Day
My Craft Spot By Kimberly Challenge - #96 - For Moms
Scrapping EveryDay Miracles - Challenge #28 - All Things Have Become New - I used Bo Bunny patterned papers on this card that are MANY years old from my stash, and the part about "becoming new" is my relationship with my dear Mother-in-Law (who this card is for). Since her husband passed away, I have a whole new relationship with her; and it's even closer and better than ever before. I'm so blessed that I can be there for her in this special way.

You can also share your Mother's Day cards in this month's challenge at V's Sweet Ideas (Mother's Day Theme Challenge), as well as at Word Art Wednesday Challenges (always Anything Goes); and of course Eureka Stamps (Mother's Day Challenge). I look forward to seeing your sweet creations, and greatly appreciate having you share your talents in all these challenges. Mothers are such special people, and it's always good to recognize them. If your Mother is no longer with you, then I would suggest making (and sending) a card to some special person in your life who is a special Mom. Many times, mothers go unnoticed and don't get that special acknowledgement. Your card may be the only one they receive. If you're thinking of someone right now, go ahead and make a card for them. I'm sure it will be appreciated and treasured!
If you're a Mom, I'd like to wish YOU a very blessed Mother's Day. It's not an easy job, but it's a very important one. You are shaping the lives of the children God has entrusted to you. I'd also like to share this little saying that has always been very dear to my heart, and that I have hanging on a plaque in my home. It goes like this....."A Mother writes on the hearts of her children, things the world can NEVER erase". Don't ever underestimate the impact you have on your children. Good or bad, they are watching you. When you seek God's direction and wisdom in raising your children, He WILL give it to you.
Have a blessed week,
Karen
