It's always exciting when we get in new items at the Kraft Outlet, and I'm always anxious to order them right away and start sharing projects with you all so that you can see (in action) how awesome these products are. We recently got in a whole bunch of lovely Scrumptious Crinkled Seam Binding in lots of wonderful colors, and I will be purchasing them ALL. Seam Binding is THE BEST, and I love using it on everything. If you love it too, look no more! This is awesome, and I encourage you all to stop by and pick it up right away - it's gorgeous! This week's project uses another fabulous new item - the Kraft Polka Dot Merchandise Bag. Check this out!
I decorated the Kraft Polka Dot Merchandise Bag, as well as the photo pages inside, using several wonderful embellishments from the Kraft Outlet including Tape Measure Washi Tape, Red & White Polka Dot Washi Tape, Pink & White Stripe Washi Tape, and some vintage wide white lace tied with several lengths of Red Baker's Twine. I also made a tab on each page so that the photos used in the book can be properly recorded. The tab is from the Hodge Podge Magpie Stickers set as well as the "memories" round stickers and the "keep" tag on the front of the bag. I really hope you'll treat yourself to some new goodies from the Kraft Outlet, and come join us in our "Here's My Heart" Challenge this week.
This week at The Kraft Journal, we have a great new challenge called "Here's My Heart", and I really wanted to create a keepsake for saving precious memories of those things held near and dear to my heart - my family. I started with a Kraft Polka Dot Merchandise Bag - a newer item for us at the Kraft Outlet, and they're bigger than you would probably guess. They measure 5" (wide) x 8" (tall) which is a perfect size for storing photos. I took sheets of Lunch Bag Kraft Cardstock, folded them in half with my Bone Folder Tool, and then added photo mats to them on each page using Buff Ivory Cardstock. There's a little resin flower in the center of my hearts, and the hearts are made using Papertrey Ink die-cuts.
This last photo is a close-up of the bottom section of the project. It shows the sweet Baker's Twine and the Hodge Podge Magpie Sticker card (keep). Aren't they cute?
I really look forward to seeing what you will create this week, and hope that you'll stop by and share your projects with us at the The Kraft Journal Challenge Blog as well as at Word Art Wednesday Challenge Blog. Have fun creating!
God bless you all,
Karen
