I absolutely LOVE gaining new ideas from my crafty friends, and when I saw this awesome tutorial from my super talented friend, Michele Kovac, on how to create these adorable Christmas ornaments using repurposed Bath & Body Works Wallflowers, I knew I just had to give it a try. It only took me a year to actually complete mine. You can see her tutorial here: Wallflower Ornaments
They really aren't that difficult to make. I happen to use these Wallflower Scents all year long, so I started saving my empty bulbs with these sweet ornaments in mind. You can make them in any color depending on what color paint you put inside them. For this one, I used cream paint, some ivory tulle, dried flowers, rows of pearl beads, and ornament topper.
I ended up taking about ten pictures of the finished ornaments, but decided to use the photos that showed the amazing glitter and how they catch the light. I also made a pink one and a blue one, but I will definitely be making a few more. They're just SO pretty! Michele's tutorial is really good, but feel free to ask me any questions you might have so that you can try these for yourself.
I'm going to enter my sweet glittered ornaments in the following challenges:
Papertake Weekly Challenge Blog - Just like DT Member, Deb, I chose to make a Christmas ornament. I just love hand-made gifts.
Red Carpet Studios - New Year's Eve Challenge - My "something new" is the glitter I got for Christmas, and the stars I used are on the trim, but they're a little bit covered by al the tulle. I thought that the new year was a great time to try "Something New" and something I've been meaning to try. I'm also giving this to my daughter for her to use next Christmas which will be her "New Year" and first Christmas as a married woman. How appropriate!
Curtain Call Challenge - Winter Wonderland - I made a Christmas ornament for next year (which will be my daughter's first year as a married woman) and followed the gorgeous color inspiration on my project. It's a great challenge - come by and play along!
I really appreciate you stopping by my blog to say hello and take a peek at my project. I know that we all have different strengths and skills, but can all gain some type of inspiration from each other, and I'm SO grateful for all that I've learned from other talented crafters. We're so blessed to have the amazing crafting community to inspire us all.
Have a blessed week, everyone!

Koren, this is so beautiful! I love it! Thank you so much for your sweet comments on my page and for offering me to come join your group. I just might take you up on that because I love fellowshiping with crafters especially fellow Christians. Although I haven't posted in a while on my blog I still have been crafting & making a ton of cards. I took a step back from blogging due to a bad experience and so it has been a little hard for me to open myself back up and post again. While it was a really harsh experience, I recently decided not to let it hold me back from what I love to do so blogging will resume soon :) Thank you again for your words of encouragement and for being so sweet! It made my day :) God Bless! Charity
