Hello, friends! I'm feeling SO blessed today, and I just wanted to share my joy with you all. As some of you may know, July is my birthday month. The older I get, the less I want to think about the actual number; but nonetheless, it's happening. God has blessed me with some of the most AMAZING blog friends. In fact, some of these dear friends whom I have never met in person are among my dearest friends. In yesterday's mail, I received this sweet birthday card and gift from Esther Asbury. What a blessing!
During my BFF's recent visit, I had just been saying that I wished I had a doily die-cut slightly bigger than my PTI set; but slightly smaller than my paper doilies. Well...there you go! Esther sent me this adorable doily die-cut, and I can hardly wait to use it!
I made this sweet card using Pretty Party by Crate Paper. I started with the patterned papers which I inked, then I added the journalling card which I stamped on (again) with Happy Birthday which is a Verve Stamp. I added some Raspberry Baker's Twine and the coordinating chipboard pieces. I'm sharing my card in these challenges:

I want you all to know how very grateful I am to have you in my life. This card-making blog world is filled with such talent, love, encouragement, and joy. I praise God for bringing YOU into my life, and I hope that I can be a blessing to each of you...as you have all been to me.
Thanks for stopping by!
Karen
Oooh, lucky you and happy birthday. Love your pretty card, I like the stamped Happy Birthday over the printed one and the twine gives that little extra pop of colour too.

Happy Birthday Karen- hope I am not too late with my wishes :-). What wonderful 'happy mail' from your friend. I know what you mean about internet friends. Love the card you made - the chipboard cherries echo the flower shapes on the design paper wonderfully
