Well hello there, ribbon-loving crafty friends! Welcome by my blog today. You've stopped by on a great day because it's time for the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog Hop. One lucky person will win this lovely patriot themed Ribbon Club Assortment. You should have arrived here at my blog by way of Cheryl's Blog; but if you didn't, don't worry. It's not a long hop at all (only 7 stops in all), and you can quickly and easily get caught up by clicking on this link to the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog. Here's what you can win:
For today's post, I decided to share some fun candy treats. I picked up some plastic candy tubes from Hobby Lobby, and I filled them with small white Skittles. These candy tubes will make cute table decorations for the 4th of July this year. I used several of the trims found in this month's gorgeous patriotic Ribbon Club Assortment to adorn these sweet little candy tubes.
On one of the candy tubes (top tube in photos), I used lengths of 3/8" Tiny Stars on Electric Blue Grosgrain, 5/8" White Satin With Grosgrain Edge, Red Burlap String, Red Open Roses, Royal Blue Open Roses and White Open Roses. On the candy tube in the center, I used lengths of Navy Burlap String, 3/8" Patriotic Plaid, 5/8" Poppy Red Taffeta, and Red Open Roses, Royal Blue Open Roses and White Open Roses.
On the third (bottom) candy tube, I included lengths of the 5/8" Electric Blue Diamond Satin, Ivory Burlap String, 3/8" Red White & Blue Striped Grosgrain, as well as some White, Blue and Red Miniature Double-Head Stamens, Red Open Roses, Royal Blue Open Roses and White Open Roses. There are always going to be AWESOME trims found in the Ribbon Club Assortment, and the Really Reasonable Ribbon Shop is sure to have everything else. Your next stop is at Kathy's Blog. And don't forget to answer the question on the RRR Blog at the end of the hop so that you'll be entered to win this month's Ribbon Club Assortment. Happy hopping!!
Have a great week!
