Welcome by today, everyone. I'm happy you've stopped by as I share a sweet card I made using some FUN products from Really Reasonable Ribbon. It's always fun to create cards using the wonderful ribbons, flowers, and products from Really Reasonable Ribbon because I'm always sure to find the perfect colors of EVERYTHING I need. That includes all the ribbons and trims you can imagine and SO much more.
I used a white cardstock base and layered that with a blue cardstock and some fun patterned papers. I secured the papers together using Scor-Tape, and then did some machine stitching. The focal point is a piece of ephemera from my stash, and I laid that on top of a die-cut doily. I also attached a vintage dairy ticket from a booklet of them that I picked up at an antique store, and I placed a Tim Holtz mini rusty paper clip on it. I also attached three white vintage buttons on the left.
The floral cluster at the bottom right includes some bundled up Natural Burlap String that I topped with some Mixed Colors Cosmo Daisies, Green Mulberry Leaves and a length of Misty Turquoise Gingham Ribbon. I can't think of any shade of any color of ANYTHING you can't find at RRR.Oh....I can't forget to mention the pretty Deep Lake Blue Double Head Stamens I tucked in there. Oh, my! I absolutely LOVE Double Head Stamens. They're yet another item that comes in oodles of gorgeous colors to match any and every project. They're such a soft, sweet touch to add to any card. Thanks again for stopping by. I hope you'll visit the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog often. You won't want to miss out on any of the fabulous inspiration you'll find from my talented teammates. And..you'll always be the first to know about special sales and promotions. I'm playing along here:
Pammie's Inky Pinkies Challenge Blog - Challenge #2116 - Anything Goes Sponsored by Newton's Nook. I didn't use a Newton's Nook image on this card, but because the theme was Anything Goes, I thought I'd share a fun floral Spring card with bright colors.
Mod Squad Challenge Blog - Spring Has Sprung - I used lots of pretty Cosmo Daisies and Floral Stamens on my card to celebrate Spring. I imagine the adorable kids climbing the ladder into the field behind it to pick wild flowers. The image creates such a fun setting for our minds as we celebrate Spring.
Karen - it always amazing me to see these lovely decorated cards you created - with the buttons, ribbons, flowers - etc. You really know how to lay it out and make it eye catching - TFS! Beautiful work!
ReplyDeleteI'm in agreement with Gail. Everything you make is lovely. [Bunny]
ReplyDeleteOh Karen what a sweet image panel - love how you have used it, and the gingham ribbon is the perfect accent. Those buttons are a great accent too, and together they give a 'homespun' feel to the card
ReplyDeleteStay safe
