Welcome back today! It's a treat to have you join me again for the final day of the New Release at Paper Sweeties; where we're featuring not only our new Homemade Mini Duo Stamp Set and Sweet Cuts, but also the 2nd Quarter Sweet Kit 2021. Just look at all the wonderful goodies included in this Sweet Kit, my creative friends. There are still a few of these Sweet Kits available for purchase.
So far, I've made several cards, a mini album, and two Easter decorations using the 2nd Quarter Sweet Kit. If you missed any of my projects, you're welcome to go back and visit my last few posts where I shared a cute cupcake card and a darling mini album using these SWEET products. It's SO much fun to play with these wonderful goodies from Doodlebug and Paper Sweeties; and today's projects are no exception.
First, I created this fun card using a green cardstock base and a Doodlebug patterned paper from the 6x6 pad included in the Sweet Kit. I stamped the sentiment HOMEMADE With Love in Coal Black Ink using the new Homemade Mini Duo Stamp Set and coordinating Sweet Cuts also found in the 2nd Quarter Sweet Kit. These stamps and cuts are SO darling, and can be used for SO many different projects throughout the year.
I stamped the grater, electric mixer and hand mixer using these darling new stamps and cuts, and I colored them with my Copics. I attached them to the card along with some colorful little hearts found in the Doodlebug ephemera and some of the acrylic Doodlebug Sugar Sprinkles you see here ant there. Both of which are included in the 2nd Quarter Sweet Kit. A bit of green machine stitching and that's about it. These DARLING products make it so easy to create something adorable. I just keep making cards with all these goodies; and each one is just as cute as the next. I have no doubt this 2nd Quarter Sweet Kit will also sell out quickly. I've already made several projects, and I have oodles of cuteness left to create more, and more, and more.
Another fun item in the 2nd Quarter Sweet Kit are these fun large foam Easter eggs. My teammate, Maria, decorated a cute pink tote bag with hers. I chose to create a decorative piece for my granddaughter, Taylee. She likes when Mom decorates her room for the various holidays. I sent her a big box full of paper dolls, stickers, coloring and painting items, colored chalks and more. These decorations were also in the box. She always enjoys getting my packages.
Peeking out from the nest of Cookie Dough Seam Binding (from Sweet Kit), I added a couple of plastic bird's eggs, and I cut a bunny from ivory felt using the Sweet Mini Duo: Just A Note Sweet Cuts, and I hand stitched the bunny's face with DMC floss. I also stamped and cut a chick using the What's Up Chickie Stamp Set. The sentiment strip and banner are from the Doodlebug ephemera package (from Sweet Kit).
And of course, I couldn't leave it there. NO! I had to keep on creating because there are just SO m any great products in the 2nd Quarter Sweet Kit. There's a super cute little acrylic house in the Sweet Kit. I wasn't quite sure what to do with it; but I ended up painting it with acrylic paint to give it a nice base. I added some patterned papers to it and under it, and I cut some shingles for the roof out of that darling Doodlebug patterned paper using the Home & Garden Add-Ons Sweet Cuts.
A bit of the pretty teal baker's twine and a length of the washi tape from the Sweet Kit are wrapped around my card. The sentiment strip from the Doodlebug ephemera also found in the Sweet Kit and is a perfect touch for this sweet card. That little acrylic house is SO cute that it makes a perfect focal point all on its own, and is so much fun to decorate. You're gonna have SO much fun with the 2nd Quarter Sweet Kit. I hope you're one of the lucky people to purchase one before they're sold out. I sure enjoyed creating with mine, as I always do.
Here are the links to the blogs of all my talented teammates at Paper Sweeties who have prepared something "homemade" and "delicious" to share with you today. Their inspirations are always a treat for my eyes, and I trust that you'll enjoy each stop along the way. I sure do appreciate your visits, and thank you for stopping by today.

Karen
