Hello, creative friends. Welcome by my blog again today as I share a quick and easy card that I created last night using some darling stamps from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps. Every time I pull out these stamps, I end up making something cute. This is because the stamps, dies, stencils, etc. from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps are SO lovely. You simply can't go wrong.
As I often like to do, I'm sharing a very simply card. The reason why I do this is because not all of my blog followers are seasoned crafters, and I'm often asked to create cards that are "do-able". Well, SNSS makes "do-able" very easy. I have one blog friend who just created and shared her first card publicly a few weeks ago. We're each at different places in our artistic journey, right? Well, this card makes it very easy for everyone to see how easy Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps are to use. I started with basic cardstock and I added a small scrap of green gingham patterned paper and a piece of watercolor paper.
I used Tim Holtz Oxide Inks (Fossilized Amber, Marigold and Peeled Paint) to brush on the inky background colors. Next, I used the Going Postal Stamp Set to add the splatter (Hickory Smoke) and then the Autumn Blessings Stamp Set for the leaves. I did a bit of machine zig-zag stitching in black which is another texture I really enjoy adding to my cards. Yes, it's a very simple card that ANYONE can recreate.
What's got you inspired this week? I was inspired to pull out my Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps and create this FUN Autumn card. I'm sharing it in the SNSS September Challenge on their Facebook Page as well as these other awesome challenges:
Inspiration Station - Challenge #37 - Autumn Splendor - This card was inspired by the gorgeous golden orange and changing colors in the leaves that only happens in Autumn.

What a beautiful card Karen - love your use of stitching , and the dramatic contrast of the organic leaf shapes against the gingham paper
