May God Bless Your Day

Today is the first day of my give-away.  I will be giving one lucky follower an antique floral frog.  For those of you who don't know what a floral frog is, check out the photo in the post below (posted earlier today).  The photo is there, as well as the give-away details for the drawing.  Good luck to everyone who enters.

I made this little Birthday card for a friend of mine.  It is made with four different October Afternoon patterned papers layered on top of one another and machine stitched together.  I touched the papers' edges with paint.  On top of the four layers of patterned paper, I layered an October Afternoon journaling card and an OA sticker.  I added some buttons with jute, a Kaiser rub-on birthday sentiment, and then attached three different colored ribbons using my Tim Holtz attacher.

I am entering this card in the following challenges:
http://www.pileitonchallenge.blogspot.com/ - Layer It
http://www.stamp-n-doodle.blogspot.com/ - Anything Goes
http://www.ribboncarouselchallenge.blogspot.com/ - Anything Goes/Ribbon
http://www.craftycatzweeklychallenge.blogspot.com/- Ribbon

All four of these blogs are amazing, and you will most definitely want to stop by and see the awesome creations by the other entrants.  It's always so much fun to see what other crafters have made and gain inspiration from them.  I want to thank Pile it On, Stamp-n-Doodle, Ribbon Carousel and Crafty Catz for hosting such fun challenges.  I feel honored to participate in each challenge, and hope that YOU will participate as well.

Thanks for stopping by, and don't forget to check out the give-away in my previous post.

May God bless your day,

Karen

  10. Thanks for stopping by my blog. Yes we have a huge project that we started. My husband is doing all the work, I'm just telling him what I want done hehehe. I just became one of your new followers. I think your card is great. I love how you stapled the ribbons. I never think to do that. Maybe I just need to put the stapler in front of me so I remember.
