Twinkle Twinkle Little Star

I ran across some adorably decorated paper mache tree-shaped boxes this week on Melissa Phillips' Blog and it inspired me to give it a try; only I decided to use a paper mache star-shaped box.  This box cost me all of fifty cents - I WILL be going back for more.  I covered it in Papertrey Ink buttons that I glittered, and then I added a snowflake (difficult to see) using silver tinsel, and used a Melissa Frances rub-on for the sentiment which I colored in with my Copics.  I topped it off with some PTI cream jute and a little pink pearl.  It will hold a gift card or small gift, but I just want to use it as a decoration.  I love all that glitter!
I'm entering this glitter-covered star box in the following challenges: - The Shabby Tea Room Challenge Blog - Week #145 - Shabby Chic Holiday - Pink, Aqua, Cream and Glitter - Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog - Merry Christmas - My Craft Spot by Kimberly - Monday Challenge #80 - Christmas Shaped (Mine isn't a card, but it is a Christmas project) - It's All About the Vintage Challenge Blog - Lace Dream - I have two rows of vintage lace around the outside of the star box (this is shown in the photo below), and on top of the vintage lace is a row of aqua pearls. - In The Pink Challenge Blog - Challenge #10 - Pink and Pearlie - Crafts and Me Challenges - Winter Wonderland Bumper Christmas - Winter Wonderland Christmas Blog Challenge - Wish Upon a Star - The Ribbon Carousel Challenge Blog - Challenge #75 - Holiday Spirit - Pile It On Challenge Blog - Challenge #49 - Pile On The Embellishments
