Twinkle Twinkle Little Star

I ran across some adorably decorated paper mache tree-shaped boxes this week on Melissa Phillips' Blog and it inspired me to give it a try; only I decided to use a paper mache star-shaped box.  This box cost me all of fifty cents - I WILL be going back for more.  I covered it in Papertrey Ink buttons that I glittered, and then I added a snowflake (difficult to see) using silver tinsel, and used a Melissa Frances rub-on for the sentiment which I colored in with my Copics.  I topped it off with some PTI cream jute and a little pink pearl.  It will hold a gift card or small gift, but I just want to use it as a decoration.  I love all that glitter!

  9. This is such a beautiful gift box! Covering the lid with buttons was a super idea. The person who gets this can definitely use this for storing something special afterwards.
