It's time for our January Blog Hop at Really Reasonable Ribbon, and we're SO glad that you've chosen to hop along with us. You should have arrived here from the talented Bonnie Garby's Blog; but if you just happened to find us, you can go back to the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog to get started. This month's Ribbon Club Assortment is ADORABLE, and SO perfect for Valentine's Day projects and all sorts of sweet projects.
By joining our Ribbon Collection of the Month Club, you will get a gorgeous collection similar to this one EVERY single month. How fun is that?!
For today's Blog Hop, I've created THREE fun projects to share because I just LOVE these sweet pinks and pretty ribbons. My first project is a hair bow. It's got all the ribbons worked into it, and what little girl wouldn't LOVE wearing this?
My second project (above) is a sweet Valentine's Day card using the January Ribbon Club assortment. I kept the ribbons flat on this one so that the card will actually fit into an envelope (for once......LOL). I added a chipboard button in the center of the bow, and I attached a couple of sweet little embellishments. These ribbons are cute enough to stand on their own.
My third and final project (above) is a tag that matches the card. My intention is to tuck the tag inside the card when I give it away. Tags make really GREAT bookmarks, and add a little something extra when you're giving a card. It's a great idea for adding a little surprise inside a card just to say, "you're special" to me. The bow was created again using the January Ribbon Club collection, but this time I added a chipboard button to the card and tied some May Arts Burlap String Red and the Burlap String in Ivory in the center of it. Through the top of the tag, I added some Lipstick Red Seam Binding and a bow made from Cotton Candy Baker's Twine.
Your next stop on the Blog Hop is at the lovely Heather Hudson's blog, and I know she will have something super sweet to share with you all. Thanks so much for visiting me today, and have a blessed week. Happy hopping, and best of luck to you in our challenge this week at Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog.
Blessings,
Karen
