I absolutely LOVE Autumn. It's my favorite time of year because it's not too hot, it's not too cold; and I delight in the beautiful colors of the changing leaves and the smells of apple cider, pumpkin pie, and other favorites. So, making my projects for this week's Pumpkin Challenge over at The Kraft Journal was a lot of fun; and the Kraft Outlet made it all so easy.
First, I made this Autumn card using a Small Buff/Ivory Weight Note Card and covered it with a piece of Buff/Ivory Cover Weight Card Stock. Next, I added a piece of wood-grain patterned paper, and then added a Jenny Bowlin Vintage Mini Deck Basics Journalling Card to which I attached a sweet little Tim Holtz Rusty Paper Clip.
I also added some cute paper straws to the side of my card that I secured with Natural Hemp Cord and Green Baker's Twine. I used several small pieces of Buff/Ivory Cover Weight Card Stock - I stamped my pumpkins on it, and displayed them on an inked square of it. You can see how useful this high-quality paper really is, and why I love it so much.
I also made this cute little Autumn Decoration using a paper mache pumpkin that I painted orange and sprinkled with ultra-fine glitter. I embellished it with lots of fun ribbons, seam binding, some cute little stickers (leaf and spider), a mini safety pin, and a Melissa Frances rub-on sentiment (pumpkin patch). I also used a Small Grunge Prim Tag, Black Twill Tape, and Natural Hemp Cord from the Kraft Outlet on this fun little project.
I hope that you will link up your Pumpkin Projects in our challenge this week. We really enjoy having you play along with us, and you could be the lucky winner of our monthly prize, which is a $15 Gift Certificate to the Kraft Outlet. Come, and join the fun!
Have a wonderful week,
Karen
