It's Word Art Wednesday

Hello, my dear blog friends!  I hope you're all enjoying these beautiful Autumn days, and cool, crisp Autumn evenings.  Just the other day, I heard someone say just how many days until Christmas and I couldn't believe it was so close.  Where have the days gone this year?  They seem to slip by quicker and quicker with each passing year.  For our family, this has been a busy, blessed and beautiful year filled with so many happy family memories.  And together, we look forward to what lies ahead as we face it together.
This is the card I made for this week's challenge at Word Art Wednesday.  These beautiful digital stamps or word art/scripture files are available on the Word Art Wednesday Challenge Blog for free, and there's a gorgeous new file shared with each new challenge.  You're never required to use the file in order to play along with us, but it's there if you would like to save it, use it, or whatever.  Our challenges are always Anything Goes/Family Friendly, and we believe we have the BEST sponsors out there!  Seriously, we are blessed to have SO MANY top-name, amazing sponsors.   The sponsor for our current challenge is Simon Says Stamp, and they're offering one lucky person a $25 Gift Certificate.  We really hope you will stop by and play along with us.
I used October Afternoon patterned papers and stickers, miniature pearl embellishments, and a gorgeous new die-cut from Sue Wilson called Finishing Touches - Olive Branch.  You can find this and lots of other great die-cuts at CropStop.  They also have a fun challenge where you can share your projects.  Why not play along at both CropStop Challenge and Word Art Wednesday Challenge this week?

Here are the challenges where I have the blessing of sharing my cards today.  I hope you will come play along, too!

Simon Says Stamp - Wednesday Challenge - Simon Says "Anything Goes"

Dies R Us Challenge Blog - Challenge #59 - Fall/Autumn - I loved using this sweet die-cut by Sue Wilson from her Finishing Touches Collection.  It gave the perfect Autumn touches to my card.

Thanks for stopping by.  I am SO incredibly grateful to have you visit my blog to say hello, and I look forward to visiting your blog this week as well.  Have a great one!

Karen

  7. Karen, your card is beautiful. I love the combination of elements you have used. The flowers look so perky and bright. Thanks for providing us an avenue to express our faith on WAW. By posting on my blog, I am reaching people who do not profess Christ. Whether my art does anything toward making that happen or not, I don't know. I do know WAW gives me that opportunity to gently show what I believe.
