Hello, everyone! I'm so glad you've stopped by today because it's time for a fun new Anything Goes Challenge at Really Reasonable Ribbon. That means you can link up ANY project you're posting as long as it includes ribbon or trim of some kind. I decided to cut some corrugated cardboard pumpkins and make them into tags adorned with sweet ribbons, trims and laces from Really Reasonable Ribbon. I had seen this corrugated pumpkin idea on Melissa Phillips' blog, and had to give it a try. She inspired me to ink them in white and add some "snow" embossing. Aren't they sweet?
I cut the pumpkins from corrugated paper by using a cute $5 die-cut set called Pumpkin Patch. I inked and embossed each pumpkin, and added some "stems" by twirling the stems of some Mulberry Flowers. I love doing this on floral cards as well. All the Mulberry Flowers carried at Really Reasonable Ribbon have these gorgeous stems on them, and you just twist it around a thin object (I use my paper piercing tool, but you could use a pencil or toothpick, etc.) to create a twirly stem.
The photos (above) were taken to showcase (front and center) each of the four tags in this set. The Really Reasonable Ribbon trims I used include Jennifer Natural Crochet Lace, Moss Green Micro Gingham Ribbon, Pink Center-Stitch Burlap Ribbon, Green Center-Stitch Burlap Ribbon, Brown Center-Stitch Burlap Ribbon, and Ivory Swiss Dots Grosgrain Ribbon; and I also placed a sweet 14mm White Flower-Shaped Flatback Round Pearl in the center of each tag's topper.
I hope you will be sure to stop by and link up in this fun Anything Goes Challenge with us at Really Reasonable Ribbon. And don't forget that next time you need some ribbons, laces, baker's twine, flowers, etc....to stop by Really Reasonable Ribbon to look around!
Blessings,
Karen
