25 Days of Christmas Tags with Paper Sweeties

It's time again for the FABULOUS 25 Days of Christmas Tags event, and today is Paper Sweeties day to shine.  All you need to do in order to participate is visit the (awesome) host of this amazing event, Tracey McNeeley, and check out all the different tags shared on her blog.  Then, you simply create a tag of your own that was inspired by something you saw there.  Please mention in your blog post which tag inspired you, and then link your tag to her linky party to be entered to win one of the many fabulous prizes being offered.  And guess what! Among all the other fabulous prizes, Paper Sweeties is offering a $25 Gift Certificate to one lucky participant.  Tags are a quick project to make, and especially at Christmas they are a super fun thing to have on hand.  You can tuck them into Christmas cards, use them to decorate a special Christmas gift package, or even to hang on your Christmas tree.   I sure hope that you will stop by to join in on all the fun, prizes and inspiration.
I created my sweet double tag using the For You Sweet Cuts on the larger tag and the Stitched Tags Sweet Cuts #1 for the smaller tag.  On the smaller tag. I rubbed some craft glue on the bottom portion of the small tag and covered it in red glitter.  At the top of the smaller tag, I stamped the words "For You" using the For You Stamp Set.  Then, for the larger tag, I used an awesome Paper Sweeties stamp set called Meet Me Under The Mistletoe, which is one of my most favorite Paper SweetiesChristmas sets.
As you can see, I also decorated a kraft pillow box that I wrapped in Frosting Seam Binding, some red tulle, burlap string, and another tag (round) that's stamped with "BELIEVE", which is a sneak peek of this month's Paper Sweeties New Release Stamp Set - an adorable sentiment set you won't want to miss.
I cut the holly and berries using the coordinating Meet Me Under The Mistletoe Sweet Cuts.  Both the tag and the pillow box have the felt holly & berries on them.   I also topped the tag with some ribbon, twine, rusty bells, and an adorable Red & White Chenille Candy Cane that I "grunged up" a bit with ink.  And let's not forget Paper Sweeties' unique and ADORABLE Sequins.  I added Strawberry Sequins to my tag as an extra little touch of Paper Sweeties goodness.
Here are the names of my other teammates from Paper Sweeties who have created a tag to inspire you.  And, here is the link once again for Tracey McNeeley's Blog where this big wonderful event is taking place.  And before you run off, I have a special give-away below.  Thanks for visiting!
Happy you're here,
Karen
To celebrate this year's awesome 25 Days of Christmas Tags event, I'm having this special give-away (continental US).  I've put together some antiques that can be used in crafting.  They're the real deal....not just replicas, but actual antiques.  There's an antique floral frog, old spools, antique milk bottle caps,  tin hearts, button cards, some (5) shabby old doilies, laces, trims, and sewing ephemera.  To be entered, just become my new FOLLOWER (if you're not already) and leave me a comment.  I'm really hoping to reach 1,000 Followers soon. (wow)  For those who enter Tracey McNealy's 25 Days of Christmas Tags linky party with a tag inspired by mine, you can gain another entry.  Just let me know in the comments.  Have a blessed day!

Tracey McNealy's 25 Days of Christmas Tags - I knew right away when I saw this Day 4 tag created by Lindsey of Bashful Blogging that I wanted to somehow include GLITTER on my tag.  I've been SO inspired during this special event.

I have some antique glass milk bottles from when I was a kid, not to give away my age or anything, LOL but they ARE 50+ years old. They are pretty cool.
