Hello there, everyone! I hope you've enjoyed this month's FAB New Release at Paper Sweeties. My teammates and I have been showcasing the adorable new Stamp Set and coordinating Sweet Cuts over the past few days. If you missed any of the awesome projects, you'll find all the links on the Paper Sweeties Blog. I've been having SO much fun playing with these darling new sets.
For today's card, I used a piece of kraft paper for my base and inked the edges with my Ballerina Ink Pad. I stamped the word HOPE using the Merry Stamp Set, and embossed the sentiment in white to make it stand out. Next, I cut an "Easter egg" from white cardstock using the A Friend Is Sweet Cut. I then took my "egg" and used the new Just A Note Sweet Cut to cut out the (negative) bunny. I added a tiny white puff ball for the bunny's tail (super cute). And finally, for the finishing touches, I ran a width of Bubblegum Seam Binding across the bottom of my card and tied a pretty bow with the Bubblegum Seam Binding topped with a miniature sweetheart blossom.
AND THEN....I started to debate whether or not I should have used the (positive) image of the bunny. I had embossed him with black shimmer embossing powder, and painted him with pink Perfect Pearls to give him some shimmer. You may see (in the photos below) that the bunny seems to have HOPPED onto my card.

In fact....there he is again. Now my sentiment says HOP....just what he's doing here...hopping across my card. What a FUN set. You can get the new Sweet Mini Duo: Just A Note Stamp Set and coordinating Just A Note Sweet Cuts now at Paper Sweeties; along with LOTS of other fab products. Why not treat yourself to a little Easter gift? You will LOVE what you find at Paper Sweeties.
Before I run off today, I really wanted to share a couple more photos that showcase some of my absolute FAVORITES from Paper Sweeties projects past. These two cards use the actual "Paper Sweeties" which are the adorable dolls (Jake, Emma, Sophie and Madison) and some of their Easter finery. All the products at Paper Sweeties are SO darling; but these dolls and their outfits are just beyond precious, and SO much fun to use. And here's a little secret that Emma told me last night (but remember, it's a secret)….the "paper sweeties" (dolls and their outfits) just might be going on sale soon. Be sure to visit Paper Sweeties Blog often to hear further details about sales and promotions.
Some of the products used on these two cards include Emma, Emma Sweet Cuts, Basket Add-On: Hoppy Easter, Circle Scallop Frames Sweet Cuts, Cookie Dough Seam Binding, Frosting Seam Binding, Jelly Bean Time, For You Sweet Cuts and some pretty Sequins. It's pretty clear that there's no shortage of ADORABLE at Paper Sweeties. Why not treat yourself today?

Oh Karen that bunny card is stunning - love the ribbon, it is such a beautiful complement to the CAS card. The other two cards are sweet too - those wee characters are so lovely
