Release Rewind Day at Paper Sweeties

Paper Sweeties!!  Thanks for joining us again today as we continue our 8th Birthday CELEBRATION at Paper Sweeties, and we'll be celebrating all month long; so please stop by often.  There's a darling new product release, special sales and promotions, lots of great inspiration, and SO much more.  You can use this code (KarenL8) to save 25% on all orders of $50 or more.  And, for every $50 you spend, your name will be entered for your chance to win a $100 gift card for Paper Sweeties.  Our Design Team is participating in our own promotional/motivational event; so if you do purchase from Paper Sweeties, I ask that you please use MY personal code (KarenL8) for your purchase discount.  Saving 25% is a considerable discount, and that makes this a great time to pick up the new release sets, a sweetie (doll stamp), an outfit set or two, some stamping accessories, SALE.  Please be sure to check the Paper Sweeties Blog for the full list of sales, promotions, give-aways, rules, etc.  There's SO much to CELEBRATE at Paper Sweeties this month.

Today as we share our New Release Rewind projects during the 8th Birthday Celebration at Paper Sweeties, I decided to make something very different using these FUN new sets.  I used the pineapple and the lemon found in the new Stamp Set.  I stamped the pineapples on cork paper and cut them out using the coordinating Sweet Cuts.  I stamped the tops of the pineapples onto dark green wool felt and also cut them using the Sweet Cuts.  I layered the two pieces together creating my "super realistic" pineapples.  And just for fun, I put some yellow sunglasses on one pineapple.....cuz she's chillin'.

I stamped the lemons onto white cardstock that I had first colored with yellow Copics.  I cut the lemons, again using the Sweet Cuts; and I added some yellow ultra-fine glitter to my lemons to make them look luscious and sweet.  I layered the two lemons just below a width of Cookie Dough Seam Binding, and a bow that's tied with the Cookie Dough Seam Binding and Mint Seam Binding.
My card base is yellow cardstock, and I used various scraps of patterned papers.  The sentiment for this card (berry sweet wishes) combines words from both new sets.  It's like I always say, all Paper Sweeties products work well on their own, or when combined with other sets.  Using the 25% off this month is a great time to pick up a few of the ADORABLE products you've been eyeballing for a while now.  Go ahead, treat yourself.  And PLEASE use my discount code - KarenL8.  YOU could be the lucky $100 winner at Paper Sweeties this month.
All Paper Sweeties sets are super versatile and you're able to make cards for many different occasions using each stamp set.  I've had SO much fun using these two darling new sets this month, and I know that you will enjoy them as much as I have.  They're just plain FUN and they are images I will continue to use a lot over the years.
Here are the links to the blog of each of my talented teammates at Paper Sweeties who have prepared a project for you today.  Just click on the name, and you'll be taken directly to that person's Paper Sweeties blog post for today.  And....ask explained above, please don't forget to use my code (KarenL8) when making your purchases at Paper Sweeties this month.
The coupon code KarenL8 and sale are good all month long, so be sure to take advantage of this fantastic SALE during the Month of August as we celebrate Paper Sweeties 8th Birthday.  Happy crafting, everyone.

Blessings,
Karen
