So Grateful for You w/Stamp Simply

There are so many things for which we can be grateful.  When I really stop and start counting all those blessings, it really is a never-ending list.  God is SO very good to us, and there's always a reason to give Him thanks.  One of the many blessings God gives us are all the wonderful people He sends into our lives.  Telling others how much you appreciate them is an encouragement to them, and it will bless the giver in the process.  Stamp Simply's amazing products always make it easy and fun to send just the right message.
Today's card starts with a basic black cardstock base.  I used Tim Holtz Watercolor Cardstock to paint my fun backgrounds.  Some watercolors, ink splatters, and my messy background was all set.  This is a very simple design.  I wanted to keep the sentiments the focal point of my card.  I used Spellbinders Rectangle Dies to cut the watercolored pieces.  Stamp Simply carries so many wonderful scripture stamps and words of encouragement.....for those in ministry and for everyday folks.  You can always find the perfect sentiment at Stamp Simply.
All the sentiments that I stamped on my card can be found in the Pastor & Ministry Appreciate Greetings Stamp Set.  Again, this set can be used for a pastor card, pastor's wife, or for anyone who has been a blessing to you.  Both this set and the Pastor & Ministry Scripture Stamp Set are ON SALE this week for 20% off.  It's a great time to grab these wonderfully encouraging stamp sets while they're on sale.  Every pastor and servant of God deserves a thank you, and I'm guessing you already have someone in mind who would love to receive a card like this to say thank you for your service.
Whatever you're looking for, I do hope you'll stop by Stamp Simply to look around.  You'll be pleasantly surprised at all the wonderful products that await you there.  You'll also find loads of awesome creativity and ideas on the Stamp Simply Blog.  Thanks so much for your visit here today, and please know that I'm very grateful for YOU.

I'm sharing this card in the following FUN challenges:

TIME OUT Challenges - Challenge #320 - I was inspired by the stained-glass windows, and this is my take on incorporating that feel and all those beautiful colors.

Thank You w/Stamp Simply

Making pretty cards is something we all love to do, and when you use stamps and dies from Stamp Simply Clear Stamps, it's so easy.  Because the stamps from Stamp Simply are SO gorgeous, you simply can't go wrong.  Today I'm sharing a quick card that features the Peony Stamp Set which is ON SALE this week.  There will be inspiration all week on the Stamp Simply Blog featuring this gorgeous stamp set.
I used black cardstock for my card base and some pretty Patterned Papers.  There are so many pretty Paper Pads available at Stamp Simply.  Next, I used the gorgeous Vintage Seed Packet Stamp Set and I stamped the background onto white cardstock using Graphite Black Ink. I used the coordinating Vintage Ovals & Twigs Dies to cut out the center oval.   I colored the background and other images with my Copic markers.
The gorgeous peony and sentiment are both found in the Vintage Peony Stamp Set.  I used the Vintage Peony Dies to cut the flower.  I used the Fishtail Banner Dies to cut the sentiment strip.  The finishing touch was to add my bow.  I used some pretty Pastel Seam Binding, a length of knotted Pink Baker's Twine and it's topped with a Pink Paper Flower.
All the products used on my card today are ON SALE this week at Stamp Simply.  This is a great time to pick up some of these lovely products for your crafting stash.  Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today.  It's always a treat to have you visit me and say hello.  Have a great week, my creative friends.
I'm sharing my card here:

The Inspiration Station Challenges - Challenge #87 - Anything Goes w/Photo Inspiration - I was drawn to the Summery colors such as the pinks and greens.  Flowers are always a lovely part of Summer. I was also drawn to some of the shapes in this fun photo when creating my card.

Thinking of You w/Stamp Simply

Today I'm up on the Stamp Simply Blog where I'm sharing this sweet little Thinking of You card.  When I use any of the stamps from Stamp Simply, I know I'll be able to create a lovely card with the perfect sentiment.  In fact, the card I'm sharing today uses just one stamp set from Stamp Simply for the floral image and the sentiment.  There are so many great stamp sets at Stamp Simply that work this way, as well as being great when combined with other Stamp Simply products.
The patterned papers I used are some very old October Afternoon papers from my stash.  However, you will find lots of great paper choices at Stamp Simply such as the Echo Park Farmer's Market 6x6 Paper Pad which would be a great choice for recreating this card.  I did some machine stitching on the edges of my paper and then ripped/tattered the edges.
I added a length of 1.5" Cluny Crochet Natural Lace and some May Arts Jute that I wrapped around my card.  The gorgeous flowers were stamped using the Pretty Poppies Stamp Set and were cut using the coordinating Pretty Poppies Steel Dies.  I also cut a few paper strips using the Fishtail Banner Dies that I used for my sentiment and for added layers.
The beautiful stamps from Stamp Simply make it easy to create amazing cards.  This week, the stamp set I used (Pretty Poppies Stamp Set) as well as the Delightful Dahlias Stamp Set and dies are on SALE.  This is a great time to grab them for your own collection before this sale ends.  Thanks so much for visiting me here today.

I'm sharing my card here:

The Paper Funday Challenges - Challenge #89 - Anything Goes: Optional Summer Splash - I did use bright Summer colors on my tag with butterflies.  And as always, I've got LOTS of fabulous paper layers.

Land That I Love w/Stamp Simply

If you're someone who enjoys making Patriotic Cards, you will LOVE Stamp Simply and their amazing assortment of stamps for Independence Day and every occasion all year long.  Today I'm sharing a little 4x4 card that I created using some of the AWESOME Patriotic Stamps available at Stamp Simply.  Like I always say, Stamp Simply has the perfect stamp for every occasion.  And when it comes to Patriotic Stamps, they have so many great choices.
I cut a 4"x4" square of basic white cardstock that I layered with kraft cardstock.  Next, I cut a piece of red paper from the gorgeous Craft Consortium 6x6 Beach Hut Paper Pad.  Looking at it now, I totally wish I'd machine stitched my edges.  I added another (white cardstock/kraft cardstock) layer to the card that's stamped with both sentiments found in a retired set.  Again, in retrospect, I'm wishing I'd used the perfect sentiment for this band found in the Red White & Blue Stamp Set.  Whatever you don't have, improvise.  Stamp Simply has just the right stamps to help you.
Underneath the kraft piece, I tucked in a length of beautiful 2.5" Isabella Venice Lace.  SO pretty!  On top of the band, I added the magnificent eagle and those cool stars using The American Eagle Stamp Set.  The smaller red and blue star are found in the Patriotic Sentiments Stamp Set.  Like I said, at Stamp Simply you'll always find LOTS of fabulous stamps, dies and more.
Whatever it is you're looking for in the way of stamps and crafting supplies, I highly recommend that you stop by Stamp Simply to look around.  This is a great time to treat yourself, too, because there's a SALE this week and you can SAVE 20% all Patriotic Stamps.  You'll also find lots of great inspiration on the Stamp Simply Blog.  Thanks so much for visiting and have a wonderfully creative week.

I'm sharing my card trio here:

Congratulations w/Stamp Simply

Some cards are just plain old FUN to make, and this was one of those cards.  I've been thinking about this particular stamp set for a few days now, so I finally decided to get it out and create something with it.  I love the texture of the books, the colors of the books, and how all the stamped images and sentiments in this awesome stamp and die set work together.  This card is a perfect example of how combining Stamp Simply stamps and dies with some of the other products available at Stamp Simply such as Embossing Folders, Lace or Silk Ribbon, it's always a great combination and all these products complement one another so well.
For this Congratulations Card, I used black and white cardstock and then a piece of patterned paper from the Beach Hut 6x6 Paper Pad by Craft Consortium to create my base.  On top of the patterned paper, I laid some pretty May Arts White Lace and two colors of 1/8" Silk Ribbon.  The books image and sentiment are found in the A Man of Knowledge Stamp Set and I cut the books and keys using the Man of Knowledge Dies.  After I had stamped the books, I used Tim Holtz Embossing Folder to add some textures to the books.  The books were hand painted with Tim Holtz Oxide Inks.
The sentiment, as I mentioned is also found in the A Man of Knowledge Stamp Set and I cut the sentiment using a Fishtail Banner Die.  I cut the keys and hung them around the sentiment banner.  I also raised up the images and sentiment banner using some 3-D Foam Tabs.
There's a STORE-WIDE SALE taking place this week through the end of next week and you can SAVE 15% OFF all items.  This is the perfect opportunity to pick up a few of the lovely Stamp Simply products you've had your eye on for a while.  Maybe the pretty Vintage Seed Packet Background or Vintage Christmas Background, maybe a Scripture Stamp Set, etc.  We hope you'll stop by Stamp Simply to take advantage of this fabulous SALE.
I'm sharing my card in the following challenges:

Can You Handle the Pressure Challenges - March Challenge - Anything Goes w/Embossing Folder/Optional Twist: For Kids - For this card, I used a Linen Embossing Folder on my books to give them the texture, look and feel of real books.

The Paper Funday Challenges - Challenge #86 - Anything Goes w/Optional: Die Cuts/Punches - I used lots of paper layers and some fun die-cuts as well.

Inspiration Station Challenge Blog - Challenge #84/April - In this inspiration photo, I was trying to copy the green shabby wooden frame at the top.

Easter Joy w/Stamp Simply Clear Stamps

Welcome by my blog today, sweet creative friends.  I'm always happy and grateful to have you visit me, to hear your thoughts and comments, and just to know that you're here.  I also equally enjoy seeing all of your creative artwork, and I hope you know how much you all inspire me.  Today I'm sharing a sweet and easy little card and bookmark duo creating using the Stamps of the Week from Stamp Simply.  These products are all on sale this week, and they are amazing.
This card started with black, pink and natural white cardstocks that I layered together.  The top (pretty) layer was cut using the beautiful Craft Consortium Ink Drops - Rose 6x6 Paper Pad.  I cut the piece of patterned paper into strips and placed them strategically onto the natural white cardstock, leaving small gaps of white in between.  The beautiful pattern in the paper remains fluid and continuous even though there are spaces in between each section.  The Craft Consortium Collection has several lovely colors of this gorgeous paper, and they're all available at Stamp Simply.
The sentiment and image I stamped on the front of my card are both found in the (one sale) Salvation Stamp Set.  I also made a matching bookmark that uses all the same papers.  The sentiment on the bookmark can be found in the (also on sale) Good News Stamp Set.  I stamped the bookmark sentiment with Graphite Black Ink and cut it using the Fishtail Banner Dies.  I love the beveled edges these gorgeous Banner Dies leave.  The many wonderful stamp sets available at Stamp Simply make it easy to create beautiful cards, matching bookmarks and more.
The finishing touches to my card were a pretty Seam Binding bow topped with a Coconut White Paper Bloom.  You can find the Stamp of the Week and other promotions by visiting Stamp Simply, and you can always find lots of wonderful inspiration on the Stamp Simply Blog and IG Page.  Thanks so much for visiting me today.  I appreciate you so much, and I'm praying that you all have a happy and blessed Easter.  God loves you very much.  So much, in fact, that He died for you.

Blessings,
Karen

God's Amazing Grace w/Stamp Simply

Did you know that Stamp Simply Clear Stamps carries hundreds of lovely stamp sets, die-cuts, stencils, embossing folders, ribbons, papers and more?  And not only that, but Stamp Simply also hosts a special sale called the Stamp of the Week.  This week, you'll find the lovely Mercy Stamp Set and the equally lovely Grace Stamp Set on sale for 20% off.  The card I'm sharing today features the Grace Stamp Set.  No matter which of the amazing stamp sets you choose from Stamp Simply Clear Stamps, you're sure to find many creative ways to make beautiful cards with them.
I used the Bright Blooms 6x6 Paper Pad from the Craft Consortium for the polka dot and floral patterned papers, and another 6x6 Paper Pad for the solid green (I honestly can't remember which one...lol).  I layered my patterned papers together to create my card base.  Next, I cut three different sized circles from the patterned papers using Spellbinders Nestabilities Circle Dies, and I layered them.  On the right-hand side, I placed half of a small white doily underneath the green circle.
As I mentioned above, my stamped sentiment can be found in the Grace Stamp Set which is ON SALE this week.  Like all Stamp Simply stamp sets, it contains several beautiful and meaningful sentiments.  All around the sentiment, I placed lemons and stems that were stamped using the Fruit Stamp Set.  The final touch was adding a length of 3/8" Gingham Ribbon around my card and tying a pretty bow with it.  The Gingham Ribbon comes in several beautiful colors and different widths to accommodate every project.
You can find the SALE and lots of great products over at Stamp Simply Clear Stamps and a whole slew of amazing inspiration on the Stamp Simply Blog.  Be sure to check out the Stamp of the Week as they change every week, meaning that the stamp set you've had your eye on just might be on sale.
Special thanks to the talented Sheri Gilson and her original inspiration for this card.  Go ahead and treat yourself to something new at Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.  Why not?  Thanks so much for stopping by today, and please visit me again soon.  I always appreciate your visits, comments and inspiration.

I'm sharing this card in these FUN challenges:

The Die Cuttin' Divas' Challenge - Die Cutting - Celebrate Spring w/Gina K Designs - This card uses die-cuts including a Scalloped Border Die from Creative Worship SNSS and circle dies from Spellbinders.

STAMPlorations March Challenge - Anything Goes - I don't own any STAMPlorations goodies (yet) so I stamped my card using stamps from Stamp Simply.

Thank You/Paper Sweeties Sale

If you haven't heard yet, there's a SALE this month at Paper Sweeties, and you can get all in-stock Paper Sweeties Dolls, doll outfit/accessory stamp sets and dies AND all in-stock Gnome Stamp Sets, Gnome Accessory Stamp Sets and coordinating Gnome Sweet Cuts (dies) at 25% OFF through the end of September.  This is a great time to explore Paper Sweeties and the wonderful world of creativity that exists within this SWEET stamp shop.
Today I'm sharing a cute little tag I created using Jake.  I used kraft corrugated cardboard and the For You Sweet Cuts to cut my tag.  I stamped Jake in Black Coal Ink, colored him with my Copics, and cut him out using the Jake Sweet Cut.  I used the You're My Hero Stamp Set and more Black Coal Ink to stamp Jake's outfit, hat and the sentiments (Thank You and So Proud of You).  I tied some light brown baker's twine to the tag.
I used the Tackle Life One Cup at a Time Stamp Set for the cute little coffee cup.  I did this because this tag is actually a gift card holder.  On the other side of the tag, I attached a small kraft gift card envelope.  I added the sentiment strip and a Starbucks gift card so that this fine young officer (who happens to be my own dear son) can grab a cup of coffee or two while he's out there serving and protecting the community.
This is a wonderful idea to do with your kids.  Giving a gift like this to Police Officers you meet on a daily basis lets them know that you appreciate them and the job they are doing.  Paper Sweeties has lots of great stamps to help you make fun, encouraging and lovely projects.  And this month, many of them are on sale so don't miss this opportunity to SAVE.
Here are the links to each of my teammates' posts for today.  Each of these talented ladies has something extra sweet to share with you and will appreciate your visit, I'm sure.  Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today, too.  It means the world to me.  From all of us at Paper Sweeties, have a blessed and creative week.
I'm playing along in here:
Time Out Challenge Blog - Challenge #222 - I was inspired by the sentiment.  This card is a Police Officer and, as we all know, Law Enforcement Officers literally put their lives on the line for others every day.  They truly are a rainbow in someone's cloud every single time they put on that uniform.  I've had the privilege of being married to one, and now, our son is also in Law Enforcement.  He's definitely the rainbow in MY clouds.

Cut It Up Challenge Blog - Challenge #260 - So Proud of You - As explained above, this tag/gift card holder was made for my son who is working in Law Enforcement just like his Dad did.  I am so proud of his willingness to serve others and to serve God.  The die-cuts I used include Paper Sweeties tag die, PTI heart die, Stamp Simply Banner Die, and the Paper Sweeties Jake die.

Blessings,
Karen

Paper Sweeties Doll Sale Continues

Have you taken advantage yet of the DOLL SALE at Paper Sweeties?  If you're like me, you will love playing with these paper-doll type stamps that take you back to your (or at least my) childhood.  They are SO much fun and they lend to endless creative possibilities.  Each doll stamp (and there are several) also has a coordinating Sweet Cut (die) for the doll.  And then....there are LOADS of adorable outfits, accessories and sentiments to help you create a world of paper doll - or in this case, Paper Sweeties Dolls - adventures that have no end.
Yesterday, I shared a card showcasing Jake who was headed off the high seas to capture a hidden treasure on a deserted island.  Today, I'm sharing a card featuring Sophie who has just graduated from Nursing School and is getting ready to take care of her first patient.  Yes, I'm being silly.  But it's FUN to be a kid again and to create these adorable creative scenes.  You can go on a new adventure with each card you make.  And this month, they (dolls and outfit/accessory stamps and cuts) are all ON SALE at 25% OFF.
My card is basic black cardstock layered with some fun Doodlebug Patterned Papers that I cut using the For You Tag Sweet Cut (larger tag) and the Stitched Tags #1 Sweet Cuts (smaller tags).  Sophie was stamped and colored with Copics.  Her outfit can be found in the Feel Better Soon Stamp Set (also on sale) as well as the darling sentiment and check mark.  The Band-Aid is found in the Sorry Stamp Set, and I stamped it onto an actual Band-aid and die-cut it with the Sorry Sweet Cuts.
I tied some Red, Grey and Black Baker's Twine to my tags, and I dirtied the white tag with some Tim Holtz Hickory Smoke Oxide Ink.  A bit of Scor-Tape and some 3-D tape are about the only other things I can think to mention.  I'm more than happy to answer any questions you might have.  Please don't miss the 25% OFF DOLL SALE at Paper Sweeties (Sweeties Dolls, Clothes/Accessories Stamps, Gnomes and coordinating Sweet Cuts) this month.  They really are just SO sweet.  Here are direct links to each of my talented Design Teammates' posts for today featuring Paper Sweeties Dolls.  You won't want to miss all this SWEET inspiration.

Have a blessed day,
Karen

P.S. I'm playing along in here:
Time Out Challenge Blog - Challenge #222 - I was inspired very much by the sentiment.  My card is a nurse and, as we all know, nurses really are a rainbow in someone's cloud every single day.  I've had a lot of really great nurses who have been a blessing to me over the years.

New Fall Release at Stamp Simply

The fabulous New Fall Release continues at Stamp Simply, and you won't want to miss a thing. These gorgeous stamps haven't left my hands since I received them.  They are SO beautiful, and they help create the most GORGEOUS cards.  If you haven't seen all the inspiration, be sure to stop over to the Stamp Simply Blog to see all the wonderful creations using these awesome new stamp sets.  Also, today is the last day of the LABOR DAY WEEKEND SALE, and the last day to SAVE 15% so don't miss that.
This first card incorporates stamps from both of the new stamp sets.  The first part of the sentiment (With) is found in the new Falling Leaves Stamp Set.  Instead of stamping the word (gratitude), I used the pretty new Sympathy Word Die to cut the word from black cardstock.  I just adore all those pretty swirls and how that sentiment POPS.
I used the wheat images found in the new Autumn Silhouettes Stamp Set, and I also did a bit of Oxide Inking and used a brick stencil design.  The pretty wheat images from the Autumn Silhouettes Stamp Set are just SO lovely.  One was stamped in Corduroy Ink and the other in Hickory Smoke (a bit more subtle).  I added a length of the pretty .5" Katrina Venise White Lace to both of the cards I'm sharing today.
On my second card, you'll see that I used black cardstock again, some Carta Bella Welcome Autumn 6x6 Patterned Papers.  On the right-hand side of the card, I used white watercolor paper that I Oxide Inked and then stamped with the new Falling Leaves Stamp Set (sentiment), the new Autumn Silhouettes Stamp Set (wheat image) and the older Autumn Blessings Stamp Set (smaller wheat image) to show you all how every stamp set at Stamp Simply works great when combined with other SS stamp sets and, of course, all on its own.  They are awesome stamps.
I also took a photo of the two cards together.  Stamp Simply stamps and dies are high-quality, versatile stamps with gorgeous images and perfect sentiments for every occasion.  I can always count on Stamp Simply to have the perfect stamp set for every occasion.
Thanks so much for stopping by today.  We always love to see you over at the Stamp Simply Blog, and of course at the Stamp Simply Store where you're always sure to find something awesome.  I hope you have a blessed and creative week.  OH.....and there's a SALE.
I knew you wouldn't want to miss out on that.  Today is the last day, so stop by Stamp Simply to SAVE now.  I'll be sharing my cards in the following challenges:

Inspiration Station Challenge - Challenge #37/Autumn Splendor - I was inspired by the warm Autumn colors of gold, orange, and brown and by all the beautiful Fall foliage in the photo (See Inspiration Photo Below)
