Paper Sweeties New SUMMER Release

This month at Paper Sweeties we're CELEBRATING our 10th Birthday with a BIG party.  There's an awesome New Release, lots of great inspiration, a $100 give-away and lots of other exciting things happening.  Be sure to stop by Paper Sweeties to find out about all the wonderful things happening this month.  In the meantime, here's a look at a card I made today using the new Another Day in Paradise Stamp Set and the new Vacation Stamp Set and coordinating Sweet Cuts.
I started with a black cardstock base and added a blue polka dot patterned paper.  Next, I used a piece of basic white cardstock and some Tim Holtz Oxide Inks (Lemonade and Stormy) to create my own background.  I used the stamps and dies found in the new Vacation Stamp Set and Another Day in Paradise Stamp Set.  On the surf board, I cut a piece of corrugated cardboard for texture.
I added some Paper Sweeties Seam Binding across m y card and for my pretty bow.  Everything else is found in the two DARLING New Release stamp sets.  You're always sure to find lots of great ideas and products at Paper Sweeties.  Don't miss out on the FABULOUS $100 give-away along with all the other 10th Birthday excitement happening this month at Paper Sweeties.

I'm playing along here:
TIME OUT Challenges:  Challenge #220 Make Your Own Background - I inked and stencilled one half and used washi tape on the other half to create my background.

The Inspiration Station Challenge Blog - Challenge: Jump In (See Inspiration Photo Below).  This card is ALL about Summer FUN and getting ready to JUMP IN the water.  Just grab your surfboard and GO.

Blessings,
Karen
