Happy Thanksgiving

The days, weeks and months seem to be passing by so quickly this year.  It's hard to believe that it's almost Thanksgiving.  The exciting thing about Thanksgiving for me this year is that i get to see our daughter and her family who are overseas missionaries.  They're in the US for the birth of our new grandson, and they'll be here over the holidays.  We're SUPER excited to meet our new grandson, learn his name, give him lots of love, see our other two sweet grandbabies, and spend time with our daughter and son-on-law as well.  With all that said, let's move on to the card I'm sharing today for the new October challenge over at The Four Seasons.
I used kraft cardstock for the card base and to cut my piece for the cross-stitching.  I used the super cool Oval Stitching Die from Waffle Flower Stamps.  I found the (free) stitching pattern on Pinterest.  The red gingham patterned paper is from Echo Park and the wooden ruler patterned paper is from October Afternoon.  The pretty silk ribbon is found at Stamp Simply, and the Sweetheart Blossom on top of the bow is from Really Reasonable Ribbon.
The sentiment (Happy Thanksgiving) is from a (retired) Papertrey Ink stamp set called Pumpkin Patch.  It was stamped onto a banner cut using the Fishtail Banner Dies from Stamp Simply.  I also added some vintage lace to my card underneath the cross-stiched pumpkin.  I'm happy to answer any questions you might have about my card.
We really hope that you'll pop on over to The Four Seasons Challenge Blog to share all your Autumn cards and projects with us this month.  We always enjoy and appreciate seeing your wonderful creativity, and we hope you enjoy playing along in these FUN challenges.  Have a wonderful week and thanks for your visit here today.  To get your creativity started, here's the inspiration photo:
Get out those crafting supplies and get creative.  What elements in this picture are speaking to you?  We can't wait to find out what gets your creativity flowing.

Blessings,
