Well, Christmas is just around the corner. Believe it or not, I don't have my shopping completed yet. With all the travel, the birth of a new grandson, and everything else that's been going on lately; my focus just hasn't been on decorating or gift buying. Yes, I'm unprepared. And guess what....I don't care. lol Today, as I post this card that I created using a few of the fabulous products from Stamp Simply, I can see what's truly important about Christmas. That's Jesus, and nothing else.
I used red cardstock layered with white cardstock. The next layer was stamped using the Vintage Christmas Background Stamp and hand cut. I colored the outer pieces using my Copics. I used a Scalloped Frame Die (not from Stamp Simply). On the inside (white) part of this frame, I stamped several words using the Vintage Christmas Background Stamp set as well as the Vintage Christmas Images Stamp Set. The pretty image of the bells is also found in the Vintage Christmas Background Stamp Set and were cut using the Christmas Images Dies.
I layered the papers together after coloring each part. The pretty bow I added includes some Red Seam Binding, Red Baker's Twine and Natural Burlap String topped with a few rusty jingle bells. There are so many wonderful stamps, dies and products available at Stamp Simply that work beautifully on their own and when combined with other Stamp Simply products.
