Ready for an other FUN and FAB challenge over at The Four Seasons this month? Well, there's a beautiful inspiration board featuring Spring Flowers this month on The Four Seasons Challenge Blog, and it immediately prompted my creativity. As soon as I saw all those lovely blooms, I knew right away that I wanted to create a hand-stitched floral card. I headed off to Pinterest and found a sweet (free) little pattern and grabbed my DCM floss and scissors. The stitching die is from Waffle Flower (and I love it). I used lots of pretty Seam Binding, Mulberry Leaves and Open Roses from Really Reasonable Ribbon. The sentiment is from Stamp Simply Clear Stamps and is stamped on a banner using the Fishtail Banner Die. I attached everything using Scor-Tape.The patterned paper is from Crate Paper and I added bits of torn scraps from a piece of vintage sheet music. I also added some pearl strings and stick pins to the pretty bow. I think that just about covers everything I used. If I did happen to miss anything, just ask. I'm always happy to let you know what I used.
Here's this month's inspiration photo. You don't necessarily even have to use flowers on your card. Perhaps the colors, textures or another image altogether sparks your creativity...it's all good. We just want to see how you're inspired by this photo when creating any type of Spring card or art project to share with us at The Four Seasons Challenge.
So pretty, huh? We sure do hope you'll join us over at The Four Seasons Challenge this month. We always enjoy seeing your creativity at play. I personally look forward to visiting your blog to see what you're inspired to create. Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today. I always appreciate having you visit and say hello.I'm playing along here:
