I feel SO blessed and so incredibly grateful to be on the Design Team at Creative Worship Stamps. I've loved this amazing company for many years now. They used to be known as Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps, and I started purchasing their products way back then. I've always loved the fact that Creative Worship Stamps is a faith-based Christian-owned company. Now that I'm on the Design Team, I'm absolutely loving all the wonderful stamp, dies, stencils and products they carry. For this simple card, I layered several patterned papers onto a white cardstock base. I used the FUN Scalloped Border Dies to do this. This is a die-cut set that I purchased way back when they were known as Sweet 'n Sassy. I splattered my card with some cream acrylic paint. The beautiful bloom was stamped onto a white lined patterned paper using the NEW Blooming Tulips Stamp Set. I colored the tulip and cut it by hand. I used the Stitched Ovals Frame Dies to cut my sentiment spot, and the sentiment is also found in the lovely Blooming Tulips Stamp Set. A few little raindrop gems were the finishing touch to this simple card. Thanks so much for visiting me here today. It's greatly appreciated and means so much every time I see that you've left a comment to tell me what you think. Hopefully I'll see you out in blogland and on social media, and I'm looking forward to seeing your art. Happy crafting, everyone.
I'll be sharing my card in the following challenges:
Triple B Challenge - Birds, Butterflies and Blooms - April: Anything Goes with Birds, Butterflies and/or Blooms - This card shares only blooms.
Pammie's Inky Pinkies Challenge - Challenge #2513 - Rain - I added some "rain" by way of some clear dew drops that I placed around my card. We all know that there has to be rain in order to get flowers.
Blessings,
Karen
A beautiful card Karen - love the soft pinks and browns in the background, and the flower is gorgeous - wonderfully coloured too
