Fun Instagram Hop w/Creative Worship Stamps

If you love a good challenge, then we've got one ready for you over at Creative Worship Stamps.  Yes, there's a monthly challenge on the Creative Worship Stamps VIP Facebook Page where you can play along to WIN a $25 Creative Worship Stamps gift card.  AND....today also starts this month Challenge IG Hop where the theme is Use Your Scraps.  This is what I came up with using some scraps I had left on my table.  The card was made from two panels that were stencilled using Korin's fabulous stencilling ideas.  I used the negative side for the base and the other piece for the small cuts.
I used a white cardstock layered with black cardstock.  The top layer is a piece of Watercolor Paper that, like I said, was stencilled using the Jumbled Diamonds Stencil and Oxide Ink Sprays.  I cut that panel using the Postage Stamp Cover Plate Die and adhered that to my other base layers.  Next, I stamped the background of my card using the Vintage Snippets Stamp Set and the Library Card Stamp.
The background, and card in general, are a mess.  I rather like the messy look.  There are just SO many great stamps at Creative Worship Stamps to help you make fun cards.  That fun little dragonfly is found in the Funky Flutters Stamp Set.  The sentiment was stamped using the Typed Thoughts Stamp Set onto another stencilled paper scrap, and I cut it with the Typed Thoughts Dies.
Be sure to head over to the Creative Worship Stamps IG Page to get started on this fun hop for your chance to WIN.  Thanks so much for visiting me here today.  I'm always so grateful to have you visit and leave me a note.  Happy crafting, sweet friends.

Creative Worship Stamps Mini Album

Hello, sweet creative friends.  Thank you for popping in today as I share a mini album featuring some of the NEW Release items from Creative Worship Stamps.  Whether you purchase just one stamp set from Creative Worship or several, you will love each and every one.  They work so beautifully on their own and when combined.  I haven't ever met a Creative Worship Stamps product that I didn't absolutely adore.  This mini album was created using several products from Creative Worship Stamps including brand new items and some of my older favorites.
This is a simple brown paper lunch bag that's covered in some sweet patterned papers that I machine stitched.  On the front of the album, I used the Stitched Pockets Die Set to create the pocket.  I used the NEW Film Strip Dies, Library Card Stamp, and the NEW Summer Collage Stamp Set for the tags.
Above is the open view of the album.  I used the Film Strip Dies again as well as the Stitched Pockets Die Set (right side) and the lovely new Summer Collage Stamp Set.  I cut each tag with the Tag & More Dies.  I stamped the Stitched Pockets Die using the Sew Many Stitches Stamp Set and the Vintage Postcards Stamp Set.  The sentiment at the bottom of the right-hand side (thinking of you) is also found in the Summer Collage Stamp Set and was cut with the Tag & More Dies
Here's a closer look at the front again.  The front also has details including a butterfly cut using the Delicate Butterfly Dies.  The front pocket was stamped using both the Going Postal Stamp Set and Vintage Snippets Stamp Set.  The small hearts were cut using the Heart Die Set.  All those items are so sweet tucked in the pocket.
OK, I'll stop sharing photos.  If you have any questions about what I used, please let me know.  I do hope that you'll take time to stop by Creative Worship Stamps to take a look around.  There's a FUN challenge on the Creative Worship Stamps VIP Facebook Group where you can play along to WIN.  We also offer lots of great classes at Creative Worship Stamps including a FABULOUS new class on FOILING.  You can find all the details on the Creative Worship Stamp site.  Thanks so much for visiting me.

Fabric Bookmark w/Creative Worship

Let me be very clear about the fact that I am blessed to be on the Design Teams where God has placed me and allows me to create.  I'm grateful for these amazing companies that have placed their faith in me to represent their brand and their products.  It's easy when you're representing a fabulous Christian company like Creative Worship Stamps.  I'm truly honored to be on this team. Today I'm sharing a sweet little fabric bookmark using some of their NEW Release items this month.
First, let me clarify about this little Bible.  It may look a bit strange, and that's because it's Swedish.  It's a family heirloom, and in this case, a photo prop.  I used a piece of canvas and some vintage trims along with the NEW Film Strip Dies.  The cute little stamps are found in the Vintage Postage Stamp Set, and were stamped directly onto the canvas material.
I love all the textures from the laces and trims as well as from the Film Strip Dies.  I also added a rusty safety pin at the top.  The sentiment is found in the Summer Collage Stamp Set and was cut using the Tag & More Dies.  This was also stamped and cut using a piece of canvas material, and these fabulous dies cut through everything with ease.
Thanks for stopping by to take a peek at my little bookmark.  I appreciate your visit here today.  I'll be sharing my bookmark in a couple of fun challenges that I love.  Have a wonderfully creative week, everyone.

Blessings,
Karen

IG Hop & New Release w/Creative Worship

Are you ready for another FABULOUS and FUN New Release?  Well, once again, Creative Worship Stamps has some really amazing NEW stamps, dies, stencils and products to entice you.  I'm sharing a card that uses a few of these wonderful new goodies.  As always, Creative Worship Stamps products work well on their own and when combined with other Creative Worship products.  These NEW stamps and dies are SO much fun.  Here's what I created to share with you today.
I used basic white and black cardstock for the base of my card.  The top layer is an older patterned paper from Crate Paper's Oh Darling line.  I used the sweet NEW Summer Collage Stamp Set on the background of the card along with the Library Card Stamp, Vintage Postcards Stamp Set and Sew Many Stitches Stamp Set to create my wonderful mess.
I used the awesome NEW Film Strip Dies to cut my film strip.  I placed vellum in the center pieces so that you can still see the stamping underneath.  Splashes of Oxide Spray here and there gave my card the messy colors I desired.  Even when you get a "splotch" of color here and there, it's all good.  Just go with it.  Art can be messy sometimes, but as long as you're having fun; you're on the right track.  My butterfly can be found in the NEW Funky Flutters Stamp Set.
OH, and did I mention that there's a FUN Instagram Hop where you can WIN a $25 gift card to spend at Creative Worship Stamps?  Yes, it's true.  Head on over to my Instagram Page or the Creative Worship IG Page to get started.  There's always loads of fabulous inspiration, and of course a chance to WIN is always enticing as well, right?  Happy crafting and thank you SO much for visiting me here today.

I'm sharing my card in the following challenges:

TIME OUT Challenges: Challenge #316 - I was drawn to the geometric lines in the solarium (? is that the correct word?) overhead as well as the water which is represented in my colors.

The Paper Funday Challenges:  Challenge #89 - Anything Goes w/Optional Summer Splash.  This card does have a bit of a Summer splash.  Two of my favorite companies are sponsoring...how FUN!!

Fun Challenges at The Card Concept

If you're ever looking for another FUN challenge blog, please stop by The Card Concept.  We'd love to have you join us this month.  There are two different inspiration photos.  The one I used is the Summer by the Sea option.  The other option is a Christmas inspiration.  Whatever speaks to your creativity....colors, textures, images or anything else; just come and join the fun.  We'd love to see what you're creating.
I used a NEW Release stamp set and stencil from Creative Worship on this Sketchbook Journal Page.  The lovely NEW lighthouse stamp set is called Safe Harbor and it is awesome.  I also used the NEW Under the Sea Stencil.  The rocks, flying birds and the cool cursive hand-written Bible verse you see (Psalm 43:3) are also found in the NEW Safe Harbor Stamp Set.
The images in this stamp set and all the wonderful stamp sets from Creative Worship Stamps are easy to color OR pretty enough to not need to color.  I've seen projects with the lighthouses (two in the set) colored in and I've seen several with no color.  They look amazing any way you stamp them.  Gorgeous.
If you're looking for awesome stamps, dies, stencils, inks, sprays and more; check out Creative Worship Stamps and the 25% off sale taking place this weekend only.  Thanks for stopping by today.  Oh, and don't forget to come by The Card Concept to play along with us.  Have a blessed and creative week.

God is My Safe Harbor w/Creative Worship

If you love lighthouses, crosses, fabulous sentiments, fun stamps, dies and stencils; then you will be most delighted with the NEW Release this month at Creative Worship Stamps.  You can see the entire NEW Release by clicking this link.  I haven't had a chance yet to use all of the new items, but I'm sure looking forward to creating with them and to seeing all the fabulous creations by my talented teammates.  They always knock my socks off with their amazing talent.
I started my square card with Natural White Cardstock.  I pressure embossed the second layer with an Altenew Organic Linen Embossing Folder.  Next, I grabbed three different (older October Afternoon) patterned papers.  I roughed up the edges and machine stitched them together to give the background some color.  I stamped the smaller of two lighthouses found in the NEW Safe Harbor Stamp Set.  The background of the lighthouse image also has some of the flying seagulls which are also found in the Safe Harbor Stamp Set.  I cut the image using the second largest oval found in the Stitched Oval Dies.  It did cut off a small portion at the bottom of this gorgeous lighthouse image.
The sentiment I used is also found in the NEW Safe Harbor Stamp Set as are the rocks.  I fussy cut the sentiment into two pieces and attached them to a smaller oval cut using the Stitched Oval Dies.  Under the images, I added a piece of vintage lace and a burgundy trim in an attempt to give my card some texture and to tie in the colors found in my stamped image.  I also cut two hearts (upper left) using the Heart Dies, and I added a few small sequins as the finishing touch.
Thanks so much for visiting me here today.  Today is also the first day of the June NEW Release Instagram Hop, so head on over to My Instagram Page to hop along for your chance to WIN a $25 gift card to Creative Worship Stamps.  Please know that I truly appreciate your visits here on my blog as well as on My Instagram Page.  It means a lot to me, and I'd be delighted to have you Follow me on both.  Have a wonderfully creative week.

I'm sharing my card in the following challenges:

Sending Love Bookmark w/Creative Worship

Hello, friends and thanks for visiting.  I don't normally share "just" a bookmark as a project.  However, I am under a bit of a pressure crunch this month to complete all my art assignments so that I can go spend some much-needed time with my (very elderly) parents in Minnesota.  They need my help, and I'm blessed to be able to go.  So, for this reason, I've been busy making all my cards and projects for the month.  For this particular post, I decided to create two projects in one. This pretty card and bookmark duo showcases some of the NEW Release items from Creative Worship.  They are SO awesome.
For the bookmark, I used white cardstock and the Bookmarks & More Dies to cut my bookmark.  I painted the entire bookmark with Pistachio Oxide Ink.  I stamped the top of the bookmark with the sweet tag found in the NEW Spring Tag Collage Stamp Set.  I used the little topper (black cardstock) and I used a sentiment (sending love) from this set.  The coordinating Tag & More Dies allowed me to cut those small tag piece (topper and sentiment).  In fact, there are several different sentiment strips in this sweet new set that will fit each of the (four) lovely sentiments in the NEW Spring Tag Collage Stamp Set.
I stamped the bottom portion of the bookmark, as well as the background of the sentiment, using Texture Tiles 1 Stamp Set (grid image).  I splattered the card and bookmark with Oxide Inks and painted the flowers (which I layered) with the Oxide Inks.  I ran a bit of jute through the top of my bookmark.  It's fairly simple, and this sweet set of Bookmarks & More Dies allows you to easily make bookmarks which are always a nice little gift.  The final addition to this little bookmark was adding the John 3:16 ticket at the bottom.  This sweet stamp is also found in the wonderful NEW Spring Tag Collage Stamp Set and the coordinating ticket die-cut is found in the NEW Tag & More Dies.
The matching card uses the Stitched Rectangle Dies for the base, and I used the gorgeous NEW Heart Doily Stencil on the background with Pistachio Oxide Ink.  At the bottom of this card, I stamped a definition using the lovely NEW Faith Definitions 2 Stamp Set.  The Happy Birthday sentiment is also found in the Spring Tag Collage Stamp Set.  The sentiment strip was cut using the Tag & More Dies.
Thanks for stopping by today, everyone.  Please feel free to ask if you have any questions or if I forgot to mention any of the products I used.  I do hope you'll stop by my Instagram Page to say hello and to Follow me there, please.  You can find so much fabulous inspiration on the Creative Worship IG Page every day, and so much happy shopping at Creative Worship Stamps.  Have a wonderfully creative week, my friends.

I'm sharing my card and bookmark duo here:

Praise the Lord w/Creative Worship Stamps

Hello, sweet creative friends.  Thank you for visiting here today, and thanks for taking a moment to take a look at my second card showcasing the fabulous NEW May Release at Creative Worship Stamps.  Today begins the Creative Worship May Instagram Hop where you can comment to WIN a $25 CW gift card.  It's been so much FUN creating with these awesome new stamps, dies and stencils.  The products in this month's NEW Release are nothing short of amazing, and they lend their way to creative happiness because you truly can't go wrong with products this amazing.
This card uses a black cardstock base layered with white cardstock that I cut using the sweet Stitched Rectangle Frame Dies. I stencilled the background of the white layer using the DARLING NEW Petals & Dots Stencil with Spun Sugar, Kitch and Concord Grape Oxide Inks.  This gave me a really sweet background design, but I wanted to add just a bit more.  I used the NEW Faith Definitions 2 Stamp Set and the Vintage Postage Stamp Set to add some pizzazz to the background of my card.
Next, I stamped the darling NEW tag using the Spring Tag Stamp Set, and I cut it using the (very cool) NEW Tag & More Dies.  I painted the tag with Oxide Inks and raised it up using 3-D Foam Tabs.  I used the NEW Stamp Set to add the sentiment (Praise The Lord) to the tag.  I also used one small set of leaves found in the gorgeous NEW Stamp Set to add some greenery to the tag.  (it also covers a mistake...lol).  The small hearts I added are found in the Heart of Gratitude Stamp Set.
If I used anything that I forgot to mention, or if you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to ask.  I'm always delighted to hear your thoughts about what I create.  And if you have time, I'd be SO blessed to have you stop by and FOLLOW me on my Instagram Page that I'm still struggling to grow.  Please stop by Creative Worship to check out this FABULOUS NEW Release.

Blessings,
Karen

New Release at Creative Worshp Stamps

There's a fabulous NEW Release at Creative Worship Stamps, and you won't want to miss this one.  As is the case most months, this NEW Release is absolutely amazing, and it's filled with the sweetest new stamps, dies and stencils.  If you already own some Creative Worship products, these NEW Release items will complement and enhance your existing sets; and if you don't own any Creative Worship products yet, this is the perfect time to treat yourself.  These products are SO much fun.
Each month when I receive my order from Creative Worship, it comes in a beautiful blue padded envelope, and the items are protected with a sturdy piece of cardboard.  I like to use that piece of packing cardboard and repurpose it into a project.  So, for that reason, I used the cardboard for my card base.  I also used small pieces of the cardboard on my project (ticket and tag reinforcement).  Recycle, reuse and repurpose, girls.  That's what I'm talking about.  I used a pattern paper (both sides) that I machine stitched together on a piece of white cardstock.  Then....I was all set for the NEW products.
I used the (older) Vintage Snippets Stamp Set for the ruler design at the top.  I cut that piece using a Stitched Rectangle Die, attached it, and added a piece of May Arts Burlap Ribbon.  Next, I used the gorgeous NEW Spring Collage Tag Stamp Set to create my tag and tickets.  I'm loving all the tag pieces (the top notch is cut from the cardboard piece) found in the Spring Tag & More Dies.  CUTE.  I painted the tag with Oxide Inks, and then I stamped and cut the tickets.
Even the Happy Birthday sentiment is found in this fabulous NEW Spring Collage Tag Stamp Set - along with several other sweet sentiments.  You get A LOT of FUN in this little stamp set, and the dies are SO cute.  The darling sentiment frame fits each sentiment perfectly.  I used some (super old) brass brads on the ends of the sentiment strip.  These sweet stamps and dies make it SO EASY to create something cute.
You can head on over to Creative Worship to see all the amazing items in this month's NEW Release.  You're going to love (and want) it all - like I do.  I'm already looking forward to creating my next card with these sweet new goodies.  Thanks so much for visiting me here today, for taking a quick peek at my card, and for your comments.  I'm SO blessed and grateful to have sweet crafty friends who visit me, and I really hope you have an amazingly creative week.

I'm sharing my card here:

Pure Joy w/Creative Worship

It's truly a blessing to be on the Design Teams I'm on currently, and I praise God for these amazing opportunities I've been given to create with wonderful products I love.  Being on the Creative Worship Stamps Design Team is such a blessing, and I'm so grateful (and humbled) to be on this team with such creative artists.  They inspire me so much.  You all do.  One can only hope that their own creations inspire others.  Today I'm sharing another card that showcases what we're focussing on this month at Creative Worship Stamps which is....Big Blooms and Alphabet Stamps.
This card starts with black cardstock layered with white cardstock.  The third layer is also basic white cardstock that I smooshed with alcohol ink.  I stamped the background of tinhe card using the Going Postal Stamp Set, Vintage Postage Stamp Set and Texture Tiles 9 Stamp Sets.  I also added some white acrylic paint using the Mesh Ovals Stencil.  I inked the edges of the card using Black Soot Oxide Ink.  I wanted the card to have a fairly grungy background.
I stamped another image from the Vintage Snippets Stamp Set and cut it with a Stitched Oval Die.  This piece is tucked under my flower.  The flower was stamped twice using the Cosmos Background Stamp Set.  I fussy cut the flowers and layered them.  On the petal of the top flower, I stamped the word JOY using the Mini Grunge Stamp Set.  That petal is raised up with 3-D Foam Tabs.  I attached some Iridescent White String around my card as an accent.
Please let me know if you have any questions about the products I used on this card.  It's always fun to try new techniques, and I really think you'll LOVE all the wonderful Alphabet Stamp Sets available at Creative Worship.  Thanks so much for visiting me here today, and please stop by again soon.  I'm very grateful for you, your visits here, your visits to my Instagram Page, your comments, your inspiration and your friendship.  Have an awesome week.

I'm playing along here:

Die Cuttin' Divas Challenges - April Challenge: Sponsored by Altenew - I used die-cuts for the oval and the flowers.

TIME OUT Challenges - Challenge #311 - I actually picked three from this list which the Blooms, Hope and the Pastel.  While my pastels are bright, they're still in the pastel category.  My Blooms are big.  I incorporated hope by adding the word joy.  I also have some Rain elements in my background.

Christmas Coffee Blessings

No matter what time of year it is, I'm always grateful for coffee.  Most days I enjoy a minimum of one, and sometimes two, vanilla lattes in the "morning".  But the term "morning" is even open for interpretation now that I'm retired.  Perhaps it's 10:00 AM, but it's still morning at my house until I've had at least one latte.  This card combines several things I love which include coffee, stamping, Christmas and Creative Worship Stamps.
This card started with a black cardstock base layered with light kraft cardstock that I cut twice using the Stitched Rectangle Frame Dies.  I stamped the base of the top light kraft layer using the darling Christmas Wish List Stamp.  I used the Holly Christmas Stamp Set for all the pretty foliage and berries you see; including on the coffee cup that was cut using the Travel Cup Dies.
I love to play along in the Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenges whenever I possibly can.  It was a joy to have some extra time today to create a card for this FUN challenge.  I hope that you've been having fun creating cards this weekend as well.  If you let me know what you made this weekend, I'll be sure to stop by and take a peek.  It always makes me smile when you stop by to say hello and leave me some love.
There are so many great stamps, dies, stencils and products at Creative Worship Stamps.  It's always fun to see what my creative friends create when they do purchase these awesome products.  Inspiration comes from everywhere, and I always feel like the more we all share our art in challenges, the more who get the pleasure of seeing our creativity and possibly being inspired.  You all inspire me every day.  Thank you for visiting, and please stop by again soon.

I'm playing along here with this caffeinated Christmas card:

Double D Challenges - Tea or Coffee - I choose coffee 9 times out of 10.
Happy crafting, y'all.

Oh, Happy Day w/Creative Worship Stamps

Hello, sweet blog friends and crafters.  It's always a treat to have you visit me here, and I hope you know how truly grateful I am for your visits here.  As I've mentioned many times, I feel so very blessed to be on the Design Team at Creative Worship Stamps.  They carry so many great products and, most importantly, they're a Christian-owned company with a focus on glorifying God through our art.  How perfect.  So, as I watched my talented Design Teammates create these lovely pages in their mini art journals, I was in awe.  I knew that I wanted to try this.  Then....I found out that they carry these SWEET Spiral Bound Watercolor Mixed Media Mini Sketchbooks at Creative Worship, I was so excited.
I'm pretty sure that every cardmaking crafter knows who Melissa Phillips is.  She's amazing, right?  Well, she had used some of these lovely papers on a card recently, and I just had to know where she got them.  She steered me in the right direction, and I purchased these lovely Paper Rose Vintage Rose Basics 6x6 Paper Pad.  I used the Stitched Tags Dies for the tag and two circles, and I stamped them using the Going Postal Stamp Set
There are snippets of vintage sheet music, scraps of canvas and burlap, and a small ticket from my stash.  I used the pretty Sketched Roses Stamp Set for the roses, which I doubled for additional texture.  The background is stamped using images from the lovely Vintage Snippets Stamp Set and Faith Definitions 1 Stamp Set.  Some natural jute is bundled up and tucked under the larger rose.  The sentiment I used can be found in the Typed Thoughts Stamp Set and was cut out using the coordinating Typed Thoughts Dies.
The pages in the Spiral Bound Watercolor Mixed Media Mini Sketchbooks are 3.5" x 5.5" which is pretty small.  I absolutely LOVEđź’–this size because you can pack a whole lot of cuteness into these sweet little pages.  Why not stop by Creative Worship Stamps and treat yourself to a few new stamps and a cool new Spiral Bound Watercolor Mixed Media Mini Sketchbooks ?  You won't regret it, I'm sure.
Thanks again for your visit here today, friends.  It's truly an honor (I mean that) when you visit me and leave a comment.  If you happen to have the time, I'd really appreciate it if you would stop by my Instagram Page to Follow me there as well.  Have a wonderfully creative week, everyone.

I'll be sharing this mini journal page in the following challenges I love:

Blessings,

Fun With Alphas IG Hop w/Creative Worship

Are you ready for some real FUN and loads of FABULOUS inspiration along with the chance to WIN a fabulous $25 gift card to spend at Creative Worship Stamps?  Well, if so, we'd absolutely LOVE to have you stop by Creative Worship Instagram and hop along with us for your chance at this awesome prize.  Not to mention all the amazing inspiration you'll find.  Creative Worship Stamps carries several different Alphabet Stamp Sets (and number sets, and oodles of other fabulous stamps).  But this month, we're giving a closer look to all our awesome Alphabet Stamps and Big Blooms (florals).  My card today features both.
I used a black cardstock base and the second layer is white cardstock inked with oxide ink.  The third layer is a piece of Natural White Cardstock that I die-cut u sing the Stitched Rectangle Dies.  I stamped the background of this layer using the Typewriter Text Background Stamp, Vintage Postage and Going Postal Stamp Set.  then stencilled the background using the super cool Jumbled Diamonds Stencil (with Lucky Clover, Spun Sugar and Picked Raspberry Oxide Inks).  That pretty much covers everything used on the base of my card.
I used the AWESOME Polaroid Die Set and cut a frame from a piece of scrap cardboard.  I painted the cardboard with ivory acrylic paint and let it dry.  Once it was completely dry, I stamped it with the Going Postal Stamp Set and the Mini Grunge Type Alpha Stamp Set for the words (my friend).  In the center of the frame, I stamped the flower using the Patient Echinacea Stamp Set.  I painted the flower with the same colors of ink listed above and stamped my other Mini Grunge Type Alpha Stamp Set word.  I also stamped some cardstock using the rulers from the Vintage Snippets Stamp Set and cut some hearts using the Heart Dies to place around the frame.  A bit of Black Baker's Twine was wrapped around the frame and tied into a small bow.
Also, there's a fabulous SALE taking place right now where you can BUY 2 Alphabet Stamp Sets and GET ONE FREE.  Just use the code ALPHASTAMPS26 when checking out any time now through April 30.  There are so many awesome Alphabet Stamps available at Creative Worship Stamps so this is a great time to grab yourself a few new sets.
Oh, my goodness.  Did I mention everything I used here?  I sure hope so.  But if not, just ask me any questions you might have.  Creative Worship Stamps has so many great stamps, dies, stencils, inks and more to help you create some truly amazing art.  Stop on by my Instagram to join the FUN and inspiring Instagram Hop for your chance to WIN the $25 prize.  I hope to see you there.  Have a great week, everyone.
