IG Hop & New Release w/Creative Worship

Are you ready for another FABULOUS and FUN New Release?  Well, once again, Creative Worship Stamps has some really amazing NEW stamps, dies, stencils and products to entice you.  I'm sharing a card that uses a few of these wonderful new goodies.  As always, Creative Worship Stamps products work well on their own and when combined with other Creative Worship products.  These NEW stamps and dies are SO much fun.  Here's what I created to share with you today.
I used basic white and black cardstock for the base of my card.  The top layer is an older patterned paper from Crate Paper's Oh Darling line.  I used the sweet NEW Summer Collage Stamp Set on the background of the card along with the Library Card Stamp, Vintage Postcards Stamp Set and Sew Many Stitches Stamp Set to create my wonderful mess.
I used the awesome NEW Film Strip Dies to cut my film strip.  I placed vellum in the center pieces so that you can still see the stamping underneath.  Splashes of Oxide Spray here and there gave my card the messy colors I desired.  Even when you get a "splotch" of color here and there, it's all good.  Just go with it.  Art can be messy sometimes, but as long as you're having fun; you're on the right track.  My butterfly can be found in the NEW Funky Flutters Stamp Set.
OH, and did I mention that there's a FUN Instagram Hop where you can WIN a $25 gift card to spend at Creative Worship Stamps?  Yes, it's true.  Head on over to my Instagram Page or the Creative Worship IG Page to get started.  There's always loads of fabulous inspiration, and of course a chance to WIN is always enticing as well, right?  Happy crafting and thank you SO much for visiting me here today.

I'm sharing my card in the following challenges:

TIME OUT Challenges: Challenge #316 - I was drawn to the geometric lines in the solarium (? is that the correct word?) overhead as well as the water which is represented in my colors.

The Paper Funday Challenges:  Challenge #89 - Anything Goes w/Optional Summer Splash.  This card does have a bit of a Summer splash.  Two of my favorite companies are sponsoring...how FUN!!

Blessings,
Karen

God is My Safe Harbor w/Creative Worship

If you love lighthouses, crosses, fabulous sentiments, fun stamps, dies and stencils; then you will be most delighted with the NEW Release this month at Creative Worship Stamps.  You can see the entire NEW Release by clicking this link.  I haven't had a chance yet to use all of the new items, but I'm sure looking forward to creating with them and to seeing all the fabulous creations by my talented teammates.  They always knock my socks off with their amazing talent.
I started my square card with Natural White Cardstock.  I pressure embossed the second layer with an Altenew Organic Linen Embossing Folder.  Next, I grabbed three different (older October Afternoon) patterned papers.  I roughed up the edges and machine stitched them together to give the background some color.  I stamped the smaller of two lighthouses found in the NEW Safe Harbor Stamp Set.  The background of the lighthouse image also has some of the flying seagulls which are also found in the Safe Harbor Stamp Set.  I cut the image using the second largest oval found in the Stitched Oval Dies.  It did cut off a small portion at the bottom of this gorgeous lighthouse image.
The sentiment I used is also found in the NEW Safe Harbor Stamp Set as are the rocks.  I fussy cut the sentiment into two pieces and attached them to a smaller oval cut using the Stitched Oval Dies.  Under the images, I added a piece of vintage lace and a burgundy trim in an attempt to give my card some texture and to tie in the colors found in my stamped image.  I also cut two hearts (upper left) using the Heart Dies, and I added a few small sequins as the finishing touch.
Thanks so much for visiting me here today.  Today is also the first day of the June NEW Release Instagram Hop, so head on over to My Instagram Page to hop along for your chance to WIN a $25 gift card to Creative Worship Stamps.  Please know that I truly appreciate your visits here on my blog as well as on My Instagram Page.  It means a lot to me, and I'd be delighted to have you Follow me on both.  Have a wonderfully creative week.

I'm sharing my card in the following challenges:

Thinking of You Folio w/Stamp Simply

Those of you who know me best are well aware that I like to create within my own little creative box or in my creative comfort zone so to speak.  Rarely do I ever venture out and try a fancy fold or a new technique.  I've said for many years that I need to break out of this bad habit and try new things.  While I am getting a little bit better about it, I still have a very long way to go.  It's a creative journey, right?  Today I'm sharing something a bit different.  I saw this done on an Instagram Reel and decided to give it a try.  As always, the wonderful products from Stamp Simply made it easy.
I used patterned papers from the lovely Bright Blooms 6x6 Craft Consortium Paper Pad to create this sweet little folio.  Along with the papers, I also attached a piece of White May Arts 3/8" Crochet Lace to the front and on the inside pockets.    The poppies and sentiments on the front were all stamped using the lovely Pretty Poppies Stamp Set.  I cut the flowers with the Pretty Poppies Die.  A few sequins completed the front of my project.
Here's the inside view.  My plan is to tuck a hand-written letter in the left side pocket.  The right side pocket contains a pretty bookmark that I created by stamping the sentiment and music swirls onto white cardstock using the sweet Worship & Praise Stamp Set.  I layered it with more of the papers from the Bright Blooms 6x6 Craft Consortium Paper Pad, did some inking, and then added a piece of golden yellow Seam Binding at the top.
There are so many fabulous products waiting for you at Stamp Simply and lots of great inspiration each day on the Stamp Simply Blog.  Thanks so much for stopping by today.  It's always a treat and it's very much appreciated.  Have a wonderfully creative and happy weeks, my sweet creative friends.

Blessings,
Karen
