Welcome by once again, sweet friends. I'm happy that you're here, and I'd love to hear what you've been creating, what you think of my quick and easy cards, and what challenges you're enjoying this week. I do hope you'll come join the FUN over at the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers' Christmas in July Linky Party. It's been so inspiring for me.
I used a line from Echo Park called Season's Greetings when making this card. I machine stitched my patterned papers to a black cardstock base. The border stickers, snowflake sticker and patterned papers are all from the Echo Park line. I cut the little doily and stamped it with a sentiment stamp set called Vintage Images Stamp Set from Stamp Simply. The sweet border was cut from the same patterned papers using the Scallop Border Dies from Creative Worship Stamps. It's always fun to layer up papers, stickers and all those great textures. Like I said before, it's also a very different kind of card when you're not doing techniques like stamping, inking, stencilling, etc. This is very basic, but really fun.
It really would be amazing to have you stop by and share your Christmas cards in this fun challenge. You have through December 25 to join in on all the fun. It doesn't have to be anything super fancy; it's just about having FUN, sharing your art, being inspired, and getting a head start on all those Christmas cards. Come on, build your stash.
I'm sharing my cards here:
