Merry Christmas from the North Pole

Finding the extra time to create more cards for the BYSHC Christmas in July Linky Party is a real treat.  It's almost a little challenge to myself, and I'm enjoying the opportunity it gives me to get a head start on my Christmas cards.
This card uses black cardstock and patterned papers from Echo Park's Season's Greetings line.  I added the papers, stickers and journalling stickers.  All the stamped images (cancelled postage and sentiment) are from Creative Worship Stamps.  Everything else (mostly stickers) are from the Echo Park collection.  I hope that makes sense.
Oh, the little circle I cut is from Stamp Simply.  I'm pretty sure that covers everything.  I used the July Sketch for this card as well.  I'll be attaching that image at the bottom of this post.  It's always more fun when you can come play along, so I hope to see you out there.  Have a great week.

I'm sharing my card here:

Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers' July Sketch Facebook Challenge - I used this fun sketch with one strip of different patterned paper across the center.  I used one circle and one rectangle, and did some extra embellishing around them.  I'm always extra with the "layering it on".  LOL

Wishing You the JOY of the Season

Welcome by once again, sweet friends.  I'm happy that you're here, and I'd love to hear what you've been creating, what you think of my quick and easy cards, and what challenges you're enjoying this week.  I do hope you'll come join the FUN over at the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers' Christmas in July Linky Party.  It's been so inspiring for me.
I used a line from Echo Park called Season's Greetings when making this card.  I machine stitched my patterned papers to a black cardstock base.  The border stickers, snowflake sticker and patterned papers are all from the Echo Park line.  I cut the little doily and stamped it with a sentiment stamp set called Vintage Images Stamp Set from Stamp Simply.
The sweet border was cut from the same patterned papers using the Scallop Border Dies from Creative Worship Stamps.  It's always fun to layer up papers, stickers and all those great textures.  Like I said before, it's also a very different kind of card when you're not doing techniques like stamping, inking, stencilling, etc.  This is very basic, but really fun.
It really would be amazing to have you stop by and share your Christmas cards in this fun challenge.  You have through December 25 to join in on all the fun.  It doesn't have to be anything super fancy; it's just about having FUN, sharing your art, being inspired, and getting a head start on all those Christmas cards.  Come on, build your stash.

Creative Worship Stamps Fun w/BYSHC

Welcome by my little blog today, everyone.  I'm SO glad you're here, and I really hope that you will please consider becoming my new Follower.  You can hit the FOLLOW button here on the right-hand side of my blog bar; and it would also be awesome to have you FOLLOW me on my IG Page.  I'm really struggling to grow it.  Either way, I appreciate you, I appreciate your visit here today and I sincerely hope you're all having a blessed day.
So......today I'm participating in the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers' Christmas Blog Hop.  Creative Worship Stamps is one of the AWESOME sponsors of this special event.  If you're not year familiar with Creative Worship Stamps, you won't want to miss out on seeing what this AWESOME company has to offer.  To mention just a few, Creative Worship carries unique and original stamps, dies, and stencils in the best varieties imaginable.  From texturizing background stamps to beautiful images, Creative Worship really has a lot to offer crafters.
This card started with a light kraft cardstock layered with cream cardstock, layered with kraft tissue paper, layered with a woodgrain patterned paper (Carta Bella Spring Market) and a red plaid patterned paper (Doodlebug).  I machine stitched all the layers together.  I used the Scallop Border Dies to cut several border strips from the kraft tissue paper as well as some cork paper.  I just LOVE all the stamps and dies in this set.
The only thing I used that ISN'T from Creative Worship Stamps is the Paper Sweeties tag die I used.  I stamped all the sentiments using the NEW Thoughtful Wreaths Stamp Set and cut the main one using the NEW coordinating Thoughtful Wreaths Dies.  It's so cool having sentiment dies to raise up; which I did with some 3-D White Foam Tabs.  The tag also includes borders from the Scallop Border Dies and a cute tag from the Tabs Tickets & More Dies.
The gorgeous wreaths are found in the Thoughtful Wreath Stamp Set.  I stamped the wreaths and foliage pieces in green ink.  I cut them using the Thoughtful Wreath Dies.  I cut some extra wreaths using the Lovely Wreaths Dies.  The extra wreaths (on top) were cut from cork paper.  It's a shame that the stamped wreaths are covered because they really are lovely.  I also tucked in some White Crochet Lace and Ivory Burlap String.
I hand-cut the little tag; and again, the sentiment is found in the Thoughtful Wreaths Stamp Set.  Everything in this FABULOUS NEW Release from Creative Worship Stamps is worth taking a look at, and then a second look.  Well, friends, I'm so glad you stopped by to say hello to me today.  Hopefully, you will create a Christmas card (or 2) and come play along at BYSHC Christmas in July Blog Hop.  We all need to start working on those Christmas cards, right?

I'm sharing my card in the following:

BYSHC Christmas in July Linky Party - I'm sharing my Christmas card/tag set on behalf on sponsor, Creative Worship Stamps.  What a FUN linky party.  A Note to Crystal & Design Team:  I entered the above card through this blog post, and I entered the matching tag through my Instagram Page.

Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge - Simon Says "Stitch It" and I machine stitched the edges of this card as well.

TIME OUT Challenge - Challenge #293 - Inspired by Your Favorite Song - My favorite Christmas song, since this is another Christmas card, is Merry Christmas (the version by Ed Sheeran and Elton John).  I used the same Merry Christmas sentiment as my previous entry.  LOVE that song.

Happy crafting, everyone.

May God bless you,
Karen

Noel & Joyful Christmas Greetings

Christmas in July is always such FUN!  I'm continuing to play along over at the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers' Christmas in July Linky Party, and it would be fabulous if you would come by and join in on all the excitement.  I don't have a whole lot of Christmas cards made, but this special event has me busy getting a head start on all the Christmas cards I still need to make this year.
I started with kraft and red cardstock for my base.  I used a complete mish mash of old patterned paper scraps and bits to create this card.  I layered on papers, corrugated cardboard scraps, vintage scotch tape, machine stitching, chipboard ephemera, a Maya Road kraft ticket, etc.  It's truly a bit of this and a bit of that from my Christmas bins.
I used an old (retired) stamp set called Bold Scripty Christmas Sentiments from Simon Says Stamp.  I still love this old stamp set and the pretty font of these sentiments.  The little chipboard pieces are from Carta Bella, I believe.  I sorta crumpled up the kraft patterned paper to wrinkle/scrunch it before machine stitching it to my card base.
Be sure to check out the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers' Christmas in July Linky Party.  I know that Crystal and her talented Design Team would love to see your holiday cards; so come, join the fun.  I look forward to seeing you out there in blogland and the social media world where I can view your cards as well.  Thanks so much for stopping by today.  I appreciate you.

I'm sharing my cad here:
