Heartfelt Condolences w/Stamp Simply

Welcome by again, sweet crafty friends!  I'm always thrilled to have you stop by and say hello.  I also enjoy hearing what you think about my cards.  While I'm trying desperately to grow my Instagram Following, I do still enjoy my blog and writing more about the cards and projects I create.  Today I'm sharing a super sweet card that I created for Stamp Simply using some of their wonderful products.
My card starts with basic white cardstock.  I layered that piece with patterned papers from the Echo Park Love Notes 6x6 Paper Pad.  I attached them, added some borders with them, and then I machine stitched them together.  Next, I added half of a tea-stained doily (Etsy) and then I added some gorgeous ribbons including lengths of the 1/8" Light Blue Silk Ribbon as well as length of the 1/4" Pink Silk Ribbon.  I tied them into a bow and topped it with a Paper Flower.
Finally, I tucked in one of the gorgeous Pink Stick Pin.  My boss, the sweet Owner of Stamp Simply, has informed me that she does has more of these GORGEOUS pins.  They're not currently listed in the store (for order), but if you're interested in getting some (they come in green, pink and blue I believe), please either let me know or reach out to Sharon at Stamp Simply.  They really are quite lovely.
The lovely sentiment I used on this card is found in the Sympathy Sentiments 2 Stamp Set.  I stamped it onto a piece of paper from the Craft Consortium's 6x6 Beach Hut Paper Pad.  I also added a musical swirl image from the Worship & Praise Stamp Set, and I machine stitched the sentiment piece.  I just LOVE the sweet patterned papers found in the Echo Park Love Notes 6x6 Paper Pad and how the Silk Ribbons match them so beautifully.
Thanks again for your visit here today.  If you enjoy seeing wonderful and inspirational cards, you can check out the Stamp Simply Blog to see all the wonderful card samples.  We always appreciate your visits, just like I appreciate your visit here today.

I'm sharing my sympathy card in the following:

Pammie's Inky Pinkies Challenge Blog - Challenge #2538 - Anything Goes Sponsored by the one and only Newton's Nook.  This is a prize I've always hoped to win but never have.  I'm crossing my fingers and saying a prayer.

Love Those Pretty Papers - September: Anything Goes - While I admit that I own WAY too much paper, it's something I really love.  Layers of paper excite me.  Is that weird?  My favorite paper company is, and always will be, Crate Paper (which is now owned by American Crafts, I believe).  This card, however, was created using Echo Park Love Notes.

Blessings,
Karen
