So many times, when I'm creating cards for Stamp Simply Clear Stamps, I find myself making cards that require just one (1) of the many fabulous stamp sets from Stamp Simply. While all the stamps and products in the store nicely complement one another, it's always nice to find those stamp sets that are able to stand alone in helping you create something special. That's true of the set I'm showcasing here today. It's so beautiful, it contains gorgeous vintage Christmas images as well as several sweet sentiments to help you make all sorts of different cards. Yes, with just one set.
I started with a basic black cardstock base that I layered with a yellow patterned paper from the Craft Consortium's Ink Drops Sunset 6x6 Paper Pad and then a green print found in the Echo Park First Noel 6x6 Paper Pad. I machine stitched those papers together. Next, I used a white woodgrain paper found in the Carta Bella Fourth of July 6x6 Paper Pad to create a base underneath my images and for my sentiment - just to help them stand out better than they would have against the dark green. I used some 3-D Foam Tabs to raise each image a bit.
I stamped the Christmas bells image three times using the Vintage Christmas Images Stamp Set. I colored the images with Copic markers, making each bow a different color. I cut the images using the coordinating Vintage Christmas Images Dies. The sweet little sentiment in the bottom left is also found in this one stamp set. There are SO many great stamp sets at Stamp Simply that are super versatile and will help you create many different cards. Stop by, check out all the wonderful stamps and products, treat yourself to something new, and start enjoying the endless possibilities that are held in each sweet set.
Finally, I added some Pink Silk Ribbon and some bundled Yellow Burlap String topped with a small Paper Flower. Thanks so much for visiting me here today. You can find lots of great inspiration each day on the Stamp Simply Blog. We're always grateful to have you visit us. Happy crafting.
Blessings,
Karen
