Enjoy the Journey w/CutCardStock

Whatever paths life takes you down, I truly hope you that you enjoy the journey.  Life certainly has its way of throwing hurdles in our way.  I've found that my faith is what gets me through those difficult times.  I also enjoy my crafting time as a way to relax and unwind from the stresses of life.  Your path may be different from mine, but it's always good to make the best of our situation and enjoy the ride, right?  Today I'm sharing a FUN card that I created for CutCardStock using more of their fabulous cardstocks.

The base of this card was cut from Astrobright Eclipse 80 lb. Black Cardstock.  The second layer is Classic Crest Natural Cardstock, and the third color you see is the Lessebo Salt Water Blue Cardstock.  I did some stitching around the frame using Solid Black Baker's Twine.  The cute car die is from Poppystamps.

The details around the grill (bumpers, light covers, grill, etc.) were cut from DCS Dolphin Gray Cardstock.  The headlights (yellow) were colored with a marker, and that cool looking windshield was cut from a small piece of thin vellum.  The high quality of the cardstocks from CutCardStock made it easy to piece together my car (or any detailed die-cut) because these papers are thick and sturdy.
