You Make Me Smile

With all the new excitement over Instagram, I sometimes forget to post my cards here on my little blog.  I try to post them in both places on the same day; but this time I forgot to do it.  That's why I'm sharing this sweet little Creative Worship card with you here today.  So, I apologize if you've already seen it.  I'd just like to share it in a couple of fun challenges and I prefer to do that from my blog for some reason.  Maybe that's why my Instagram isn't growing like it should.  I'm not sure.
I used some fun patterned papers from my stash on this card.  I've been trying really hard to use up more of my older supplies.  I'm blessed beyond measure.  I cut the papers using the Stitched Rectangle Dies.  I stamped the background using the fun and fabulous Bingo Card Stamp.  It quickly and easily creates such a wonderful card base.
The sentiment, birds and flowers are from the Cheery Birds & Buds Stamp Set.  I'm pretty sure this stamp set already sold out, and that's why you need to grab things quickly from Creative Worship when you first see them (and fall in love with them).  They're so fabulous that they tend to sell out rather quickly.  I use this sweet set quite a bit.  How adorable are those birds?
Thank you so much for stopping by here to visit me today.  When I say that "I appreciate it", that doesn't even begin to cover my extent of gratitude.  I appreciate every Follower (here and on Instagram), every comment, and every sweet relationship I've built through crafting.  Don't miss out on this FAB NEW Release from Creative Worship.

I'm sharing my card in the following challenges I enjoy:

Paper Funday Challenges - Challenge #74/March - Anything Goes w/Optional Weather Related

Double D Challenge Blog - March: Birds Challege - I don't create bird cards very often, but this one is just too cute.  I guess that's why they call it a challenge, right?  It challenges us to use different products and images on our cards.  How fun.

Triple B Challenge: March - Anything Goes with Birds, Butterflies and/or Blooms - I used two of the three on this card.

Blessings,
Karen

New Release at Creative Worship Stamps

Did you know that Creative Worship Stamps (formerly Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps) has launched their NEW website?  That means you can SAVE this month in celebration of the new website.  We hope you'll stop by Creative Worship to see the fabulous New Release and all the other wonderful products they offer.  The card I'm sharing today uses a few of the New Release products.
I used the AWESOME Scallop Stitched Rectangle Dies for the base of my card which I cut from basic white cardstock.  I used the smaller rectangles from this set to cut the inner rectangles.  On the first layer, I stamped the new Mini Marks 2 speckles in both pink oxide ink and in Luxe Paper Glaze for added texture.
On the second layer, I used the FUN NEW Messy Blocks Stencil to add the cool blocks of pink color to my background.  This Messy Blocks Stencil is so amazing, and I know I'll be using it a lot.  Next, Stamped the sweet little birds using the new Cheery Birds & Buds Stamp Set and I colored them with my Copics.  The sentiment and leaves are also found in this darling new set.
Please visit my Instagram Page and FOLLOW me there.  You can also find SO MUCH great inspiration every day on the Creative Worship IG Page.  Thanks for visiting me.  I always appreciate your comments, and I hope you're having a creative and happy day.

I'm playing along in the following:

Stencil FUN Challenge Blog - March: Use Stencil (I used the new Messy Blocks Stencil from Creative Worship Stamps) and I also used the twist by splattering my background with color.

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - It's a Stitch Up - I used a stitched (faux) rectangle die on my card.

Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge - Favorite Technique - While my favorite techniques are stamping and layering (which I did), I also LOVE using stencils with Luxe Paper Glaze as I did on this fun card.

Blessings,
Karen
