Halloween FUN at Cut It Up Challenge

Hello, everyone!  Welcome by today.  You'll be glad you stopped by my blog if you've been making any Halloween cards because there's a fun new challenge starting today over at Cut It Up where you can share your Halloween cards.  Of course, at Cut It Up Challenge Blog, you always need to use at least one die-cut on your card.  Hence, the name "cut it".  LOL  We all love using our dies most of the time anyone, right?  I do hope you'll come play along in this FUN challenge.
I used several die-cuts on this card.  I started with basic black cardstock and layered that with orange Bazzill cardstock.  Next, I used white watercolor paper and a Taylored Expressions frame die-cut to cut the frame.  I inked it all up with Tim Holtz Oxide Inks and ran some black seam binding across the bottom and tied a bow.  I used a Simon Says Stamp die-cut called Circle Loops to make my pumpkins.
I used Green Grass, Pumpkin and Marmalade Tim Holtz Oxide Inks to create my background.  The googly eyes are vintage, and the sentiment is from Paper Sweeties.  That's about it.  Thanks again for stopping by today.  Don't forget to stop by Cut It Up Challenge Blog to share your Halloween cards.  We all look forward to seeing what you've been creating as Halloween approaches.
I'm playing along here:

Two Old Bats Challenge Blog - October: Halloween Fun - This is my 3rd and final entry this month in this challenge.  It's FUN making Halloween cards, but I don't normally make them any other time of the year than Halloween, so I'm happy and excited to play along when I can.

The Inspiration Station - Challenge #40 - Harvest - See Photo Below - I was inspired by the PUMPKINS and the combination of orange/green.

Pammie's Inky Pinkies - Challenge #2242  - Anything Goes - Sponsored by the wonderful Lawn Fawn

I hope you're playing along in some fun challenges this week as well.
Blessings,

Santa Baby Tic-TAG-Toe

Welcome by, everyone!  It's always a good day when things are quiet enough for me (or any of us) to sneak in some crafting time.  I was able to "play" for a few  minutes this afternoon, and I created a tag inspired by the current challenge at Cut It Up Challenge Blog called Tic-TAG-Toe.  Here's the board you can use to play along:

SO....As you can see I covered SIX of the nine items on the above tic-tac-toe board.  I covered the bottom two rows.  I cut my tag using a Paper Sweeties For You Sweet Cut (tag die) and I used 1. FABRIC/Canvas to cut the base of the tag.
The next item I used was 2. and 3.  Santa and Bell - How cut is that Santa bell?  I used Solid Ivory Baker's Twine to give Santa some "hair" or maybe the look of a long hanging beard.  I used 4. Digi/Stamp by way of the Paper Sweeties sentiment stamp I used for "Santa Baby".  Items 5 and 6 include Red and Gems - I placed various gems on this sweet and simple tag.
The die cuts I used include the tag itself, which is from Paper Sweeties; and the layered snowflakes.  That's a total of three (3) die-cuts I used to create my tag.  It's simple, but it's cute and fun.  It will look really cute tied on a Christmas package.  Please let me know if you have any questions at all.  Thanks again for stopping by.

I'm playing along here:
Cut It Up Challenge Blog - Challenge #215 - Tic-Tag-Toe - Create a tag, using dies, using a tic-tac-toe from the (above) inspiration board.  I used a Paper Sweeties Tag Die and some layered Snowflake Dies to create my tag.  My tic-tac-toe items were 1.  Fabric/Fiber, which is the CANVAS Fabric I used to CUT my tag (using a Paper Sweeties Die), 2.  Gems - several different gems, and 3.  Santa - I used a darling Santa jingle bell and I gave him long hair using solid baker's twine.  I also used other elements on the tic-tac-toe table including red, Digi or Stamp (I used a sentiment stamp "Santa Baby", also from Paper Sweeties), and Bells (the Santa Bell).  I covered the bottom two rows.....LOL!!!  FUN challenge.

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog - Simon Says "Let It Snow" - I have Santa and some pretty snowflakes.  Let it snow!!
