Fun Cards With Really Reasonable Ribbon

Welcome by today, everyone!  It's always nice to have you visit me, and I hope you like what you see today as I share some Really Reasonable Ribbon projects with you.  As its name might suggest, this wonderful shop is filled with a very LARGE variety of ribbons, laces, and trims of all sorts....but that's not where it ends.  Really Reasonable Ribbon carries SO much more, including Mulberry Flowers, Embellishments, and SO much more.

So, for today's post, I'm sharing two sweet cards, and each one showcases just a few of my favorite products from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  This first card was created with an ivory cardstock base and a piece of Carta Bella patterned paper.  I used a second piece of patterned paper to punch a border, and just above it, I added a piece of the beautiful Juliet Natural Crochet Lace.  I added a journalling card and stamped my sentiment on that.  There's a flower sticker at the bottom right of my sentiment card; and at the top left, a beautiful floral treatment that includes a piece of bundled Ivory Burlap String, a 30mm Wild Orchid Crafts Mulberry Leaf, one Coral Open End Rose, and two Ivory Open End Roses.

I also added some Double Head Stamens including a few green, a few Baby Blue Double Head Stamens, and a few Red Double Head Stamens.  These sweet little accents, Wild Orchid Crafts Double Head Stamens are SO amazing; and at just $1.99 for a bundle of 160 pieces, they're a great bargain item that will add quite a lot of impact to your floral accents (as you can see).

My second card is another fairly simple card.  I used several patterned papers that I attached together with strips of Scor-Tape.  I also added some stickers and did some machine stitching in black.  While the card was nice.....it was missing something.  Ribbons!  I made a bow using a piece of Pink Center Stitch Burlap Ribbon and a piece of Brown Center Stitch Burlap Ribbon.  I also added some Baby Pink Double Head Stamens and Black Double Head Stamens, and topped the bow with a Pink Trellis Rose.

What I especially love about the Burlap Center Stitch Ribbons are their AMAZING texture.  They, like ALL of the trims at Really Reasonable Ribbon, add so much warmth and depth to your cards and projects.  Everything you need to make your "Simple Cards" look "Simply Lovely" can be found at Really Reasonable Ribbon!  Thanks again for stopping by today.

Welcome by today, everyone, and thanks for stopping by as I share a card I created for Really Reasonable Ribbon showcasing just a few of their MANY lovely trims and embellishments.  This card was put together with several different pieces of patterned paper that I attached using a fabulous Adhesive called Scor-Tape.  It secures your cards together so that they will stand the test of time when their recipients receive them.  I know my Mom likes to display hers, and another friend of mine cuts off the fronts and uses them as bookmarks; so I like using an Adhesive that I absolutely KNOW won't start falling apart like cards tend to do when you don't use a quality Adhesive.  Just sayin'....Really Reasonable Ribbon carries several fabulous Adhesives (for various projects) that will hold your cards and mini albums together so that they'll last.

Once I had my card base together, I did a bit of machine stitching on it....just for fun.  I added a small journalling card with a rub-on sentiment (thank you), and I also added a flower that I die-cut from several sheets of inked vintage dress pattern, and I placed a vintage button in the center of the flower.  I tucked several sweet Double Head Stamens under my flower including some Baby Blue Double Head Stamens, White Double Head Stamens, and Silver Double Head Stamens.  Aren't they pretty?  They come in several beautiful colors, and cost just $1.99 for a bundle of 160 pieces!!

Then, at the bottom of my card, I ran a length of Solid Natural Baker's Twine that I knotted and tied into a bow.  I topped that with a 35mm White & Green Mulberry Leave, one 15mm Ivory Open End Rose, and two 15mm Royal Blue Open End Roses (which, in my personal opinion are far more navy than they are royal, but.....that's just my opinion.  They do match my navy papers nicely, so they work for me!)  One thing is FOR SURE....Really Reasonable Ribbon has all the perfect ribbons, trims, Mulberry Flowers, Adhesives and Embellishments (plus SO much more) for ALL your projects.  I hope you will check out the Really Reasonable Ribbon Shop and treat yourself today!

It Must Be Love With Really Reasonable Ribbon

Hello blog friends, and thanks for stopping by today as I post for Really Reasonable Ribbon.  The card I'm sharing today was inspired by a similar card created by my talented teammate, Ginny, who shared back in February on her sweet blog, Polly's Paper Studio.  Her card also used this chicken wire background (hers was wooden and mine is a die-cut), and some sweet little prills (along with lots of great products from Really Reasonable Ribbon, of course).  The card she created that inspired mine was all done up in deep purples, but I chose to do mine in pink because, so far, I only have pink prills.  This is another thing on my ever-growing list of crafty items to buy.   LOL  If you click on Ginny's Blog link, you can see her sweet purple card that inspired me.   Really Reasonable Ribbon helped my make mine uniquely beautiful.

I started this card with a piece of soft muted pink polka dot patterned paper from Crate Paper.  Next, I cut the chicken wire background from pink Bazzill using a die-cut, and placed that on top of the patterned paper.    Carefully using clear craft glue and a tooth pick, I delicately attached my pink prills here and there on the chicken wire until I achieved my desired look.  I found this cute vintage looking journalling card among my Crate Paper scraps, and chose to use it.  I attached it with two strips of Scor-Tape.  My next step was to use some ivory acrylic paint to cover the wooden clock and clock hands, and then I attached that by again using some clear craft glue. Once all that was in place.....the fun part began.....adding the Really Reasonable Ribbon touches.  

I started with a bow that I tied using a length of Textured Tow-Tone Pink Ribbon, and then I added some Baby Pink Double Head Stamens, a White Double Head Stamen, some Black Double Head Stamens, Cotton Candy Baker's Twine, and a piece of 3/8" Black & White Gingham Ribbon.  I tucked in a sweet Small Green & White Paper Mulberry Leaf, and I topped it all with two 10mm Black Open End Roses and one Two-Tone Pink & Ivory Open End Rose.  I also tucked in a pink leaf stick pin, a sticker sentiment (love love love) and hung a rusty pear-shaped safety pin that holds a small die-cut heart tag stamped with "Love".  Everything is inked with Hickory Smoke and Spun Sugar Tim Holtz Distress Inks.

You know.....I realize that I say this all the time, but it's true!   You can literally take any piece of paper (or papers) and add a few sweet ribbons, trims, flowers, etc. from Really Reasonable Ribbon....and the next thing you know....you have something wonderful.  You really will LOVE their wonderful products.  I just adore the way Really Reasonable Ribbon's products made this card look.  And I know you will love your new products, too.  So why not treat yourself today?   Some Double Head Stamens, Baker's Twine, Flowers and Ribbons are just what you need.   Check out everything now at Really Reasonable Ribbon.  And have fun doing it!

Hello friends, and welcome by  today as I share a quick little card with you all that I created using some more of my favorites from the Really Reasonable Ribbon Shop.  I started with some green card stock and added some coordinating My Mind's Eye - On Trend patterned papers attaching them with strips of Scor-Tape.  Next, I added one mint green and one baby pink glittery feather from Paper Studio (Hobby Lobby).  Well, we all know that I couldn't stop there.....and I knew I had the perfect Really Reasonable Ribbon products for this card.

I added two different sizes (the smaller one is harder to see, but it's in there) Wild Orchid Crafts Green/White Mulberry Leaves, and then I added some Gold Double-Head Stamens, White Double-Head Stamens, Baby Pink Double-Head Stamens, and Aqua Green Double-Head Stamens.  Have I mentioned how much I LOVE these sweet little accents?  Double Head Flower Stamens are a must-have item at just $1.99 per bundle of 160 pieces.  They're the cutest.

I also added a pretty bow tied with Bay Leaf Seam Binding, Baby Pink Seam Binding and topped with Gold Metallic String.  Finally, I placed some sweet Pink Miniature Sweetheart Blossoms and some Miniature Mint Sweetheart Blossoms cascading down the bow.  These are such adorable little Mulberry Flowers for tucking in here and there.....and everywhere.  You're sure to find something AMAZING in the RRR shop, and I encourage you to treat yourself to something new.

Be Happy with Really Reasonable Ribbon

Hello, everyone.  Thanks for stopping by today as I share a sweet little card I created using some of my favorite products from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  I used some of my old favorites, and some of my newer loves and obsessions.  I thought I'd tempt you with something sweet that leaves you SURE you need to order yourself from Flower Stamens.  Aren't they just the sweetest?

My card started with some older Crate Paper patterned papers (Emma's Shoppe) that I cut into strips, inked, and placed on the wood-grain patterned paper using strips of Scor-Tape.  This next picture will show you how I laid the Scor-Tape in strips and placed the ribbons and paper strips securely on top.   This wonderful Adhesive will hold them in place...no worries!

Along with my patterned paper strips, I added a piece of Brenda Crochet White Lace and Textured Two-Tone Pink Ribbon, and I tied a bow with the same Textured Two-Tone Pink Ribbon.  I topped that with some Baby Pink Double Head Stamens, Red Double Head Stamens, Aqua Green Double Head Stamens, Gold Double Head Stamens, and White Double Head Stamens.  How FABULOUS are they?  Gotta have them all!  LOVE LOVE💗LOVE!!

I also added an inked doily die-cut, some cute journalling stickers from the Crate Paper Emma's Shoppe Collection, a miniature rusty paper clip, some vintage scotch tape, a touch of machine stitching, and a lovely knotted bow tied with Teal Baker's Twine.  I also tucked in two 30 mm Two-Toned Green and White Mulberry Paper Leaves behind the bow cluster.  The word HAPPY is a Melissa Frances rub-on, and the word BE is a SSS die-cut.

Welcome by my blog today, everyone, and thanks for stopping by.  I'm sharing a sweet little Valentine card I made that I hope to share in a few challenges.  I hope you've had time to get some crafting done during this busy time of year.  I have an upcoming shoulder surgery, so I've been trying to work ahead as much as possible.

My card uses some Lemon Craft patterned papers, a Paper Sweeties stamped sentiment and heart die-cut, a few white sequins, and lots of fun embellishments.  I plan to send this card to one of my nieces for Valentine's Day.  Here's to hoping I get it in the mail on time!  LOL

As you can see, I used Charcoal Grey Seam Binding, Cream Seam Binding, Ivory Burlap String, Pink Burlap String, and lots of gorgeous Mulberry Flowers and Flower Stamens.  I also did some machine stitching and added some Wild Orchid Crafts Mulberry Leaves to accent the flower clusters.

Happy Holidays From Really Reasonable Ribbon

This sweet little card was created with some Bundled Up patterned papers and goodies by Crate Paper.  Once I had all my papers where I wanted them, I attached them together with a fabulous Adhesive called Scor-Tape.  Next, I added a length of 3/8" Bright Pink Gingham Ribbon to my card before attaching the sentiment card.  At the top left of the sentiment card, I tucked in a small piece of Burlap Center-Stitch Pink Trim (one of my favorites) along with some Baby Pink Double Head Stamens, Red Double Head Stamens and Aqua Green Double Head Stamens.  They're SO cute!!

Finally, I wrapped some Teal Baker's Twine around my sentiment card, and I tied a bow that includes more Teal Baker's Twine, some Ivory Burlap String, Baby Pink Double Head Stamens, Red Double Head Stamens and Aqua Green Double Head Stamens.  I topped that with a pink snowflake flair button.  Everything at Really Reasonable Ribbon works together to compliment your cards and projects, and you can always find the perfect colors to match any paper line as you can see here.

Give Thanks Showcasing Really Reasonable Ribbon

With Thanksgiving behind us now, I sincerely hope that all of you had a wonderful day celebrating with family and friends.  This is the perfect time of year to reflect upon how very blessed we are to have all that we do.  I know that I personally enjoyed Thanksgiving, and just took some time to count my many blessings, and give thanks to God for all that He has blessed me with in my life.  This is the card that I gave to my parents for Thanksgiving.

I started with dark brown Bazzil cardstock, and layered it with some gorgeous patterned papers from Prima's new Autumn Moon collection.  I machine stitched the patterned papers to the card stock, and I inked the edges with Tim Hotlz Corduroy Distress Ink.  The striped flower and the circular chipboard sentiment are also from the Autumn Moon collection.  Everything else I used to embellish this sweet card is from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

I bundled up some Natural Burlap String and Antique Gold Burlap String, and then attached a bow tied with 5/8" Brown Gingham Ribbon.  I also added a sweet Two-Toned Green/White Paper Leaf and two Deep Ivory Open Roses are tucked in by the bow as well as a little bundle of gorgeous Gold Double-Head Stamens. There's another piece of the 5/8" Brown Plaid Ribbon underneath the chipboard sentiment piece that I secured with a piece of Scor-Tape.  I also used the Scor-Tape to secure all the papers in place.  It's a super sturdy and long-lasting Adhesive, and I use it all the time.  It's fabulous!  Really Reasonable Ribbon has so many FABULOUS products.  Stop by and treat yourself to something wonderful and new.

Happy Holidays With RRR

It's just a little bit early, but I ...along with all my friends at Really Reasonable Ribbon want to wish you Happy Holidays; and we hope that you will think of RRR when you start to create your Christmas cards, or when making out a "Wish List" for Santa.  Our lovely shop is filled with ribbons, trims of all sorts, flowers, embellishments, and SO much more.  Just look at this fun card I created with a few of my Really Reasonable Ribbon favorites.

I used some patterned papers and goodies from the Bundled Up line by Crate Paper and inked all my edges.  I laid a strip of Bright Pink Plaid Ribbon under the tag using a fabulous Adhesive called Scor-Tape (all over my card really).  Then, I wrapped some Teal Baker's Twine around the sentiment tag, and then tied a bow with the Teal Baker's Twine combined with Ivory Burlap String, and a couple of Baby Pink Double-Head Stamens, Red Double-Head Stamens, and Aqua Double-Head Stamens.  I topped it all with a cute piece of pink snowflake flair.  Here's a close-up of all that RRR yummy-ness!
