Halloween Fun w/Whimsy Stamps

Since Whimsy Stamps has so many fun Halloween stamps and dies, I decided to make another not-so-spooky card to share with you today.  I also love all their wonderful Slimline Dies and products, and I've been making more of them lately.  Today's card combines a few terrific products from Whimsy Stamps, and I hope to share my card in a few fun challenges.
I used basic white cardstock to cut my card with the awesome Scallop Slimline Die.  I inked the middle section of my card with Mariner Blue and Pumpkin Oxide Inks to create the colorful background.  The cute little windows are pierced, so you could hand-stitch them if you wanted.  Each of the cute little images and sentiments are found in the Halloween Postage Stamp Set.
I colored the images using my Copics.  These tiny little images are so much fun.  They're also great for making tags and decorating matching envelopes.  The Halloween Postage Stamp Set is such a FUN stamp set.  I sprinkled the Creepy Crawlers Confetti Mix all around my card.  I think one spider even "crawled" his way onto my card.
I'd really love it if you would FOLLOW my blog and pop over to FOLLOW me on my Instagram account.  I always appreciate your visits and comments.  Thanks so much for stopping by today and have a wonderfully blessed and creative week, sweet friends.

I'm playing this spooky card here:

Double D Challenge Blog - Pumpkin, Pumpkin, Who's Got The Pumpkin? - I have some bitty little pumpkins on my card and some pumpkin Confetti Mix in the background.

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Halloween/Spooky - My Halloween card isn't incredibly spooky, but it's a little creepy.  Right?  Just not terribly frightening.  LOL

Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge - Fall Mood Board - The creepy spider in the lower right part of the photo gave me that Halloween creepy feeling, so I went with that.

Festive Friday Card Making Challenge - #FF0170 - From the list below, I used Black, Orange, Shaped Embellishments, Candy and Bats.

Cut It Up Challenge - Challenge #315 - Add Embellishments -  First, I used a Scalloped Slimline Die Set from Whimsy Stamps.  I embellished my card with Confetti Mix all around it, and by using tiny stamped images to embellish all the little scalloped "windows" that need some creepy images.

Stay crafty,
Karen

Home Sweet Haunted Home w/Whimsy Stamps

BOO!  Are you ready for Halloween?  While I'm not biggest fan of Halloween, at Whimsy Stamps, it's a BIG deal.  And Whimsy Stamps has so many great Halloween stamps, dies, papers and rub-ons to help you create the cutest cards.  This one I'm sharing today combines two of their Halloween sets as well as a really cute Slimline Die.
I used white cardstock and cut my Slimline using the adorable Scallop Slimline Die.  I rubbed each section of the paper with different oxide inks to create my "spooky" background.  I used the sweet Halloween Postage Stamp Set for the spider webs, bats, spiders, and ghosts.  The sentiment is from the Home Sweet Haunted Home. Stamp Set.  They pair together nicely.
The cute little sprinkles are one of the Confetti Mixes, and it's called Creepy Crawlers.  I absolutely LOVE the Confetti Mixes because you can use them for shaker cards, photo props, or just as accents on your cards.  Each Confetti Mix is different, and you can find just the right colors and themes to accent any project.  It's SO much fun creating with Whimsy Stamps.
Thanks so much for visiting me here today.  I'd really appreciate it if you'd take a minute to pop by my Instagram Page to FOLLOW me there as well.  Have a wonderfully creative week, and happy crafting.  I appreciate you stopping here today.

I'm playing along here:

The Die Cuttin' Divas Challenge - October: World Cardmaking Day/Month - Celebrating World Cardmaking Day all during the Month of October.  How FUN! - You can see my die-cut in the photo and description.

Craft Rocket Challenges - Challenge #119: Halloween/Autumn- I made a not-so-spooky Halloween card.

Dar & Diane's Double D Challenge Blog - To Spook Or Not To Spook - I'm going to say....BOO! - I saw the purple in the bottom right and was inspired to use non-traditional Halloween colors.
Happy crafting!

Blessings,
Karen

Eek! Creepy Cuteness w/Whimsy Stamps

While I completely realize that we've barely had a chance to enjoy Summer, I'm already preparing for the FUN of Halloween.  I don't really "celebrate" Halloween because it isn't a holiday that that excites me.  I do, however, like to take part in the fun parts of Halloween.  We enjoy doing Fall activities with our grandkids like bobbing for apples, going Trick-or-Treating, and I do like to send them cute cards.  Whimsy Stamps provides us with cute stamps and dies for every occasion.
I started with basic black cardstock.  Next, I used the Postage Window A2 Frame Die to cute the 9-square background from white cardstock that I rubbed with Lavendar and Grape Oxide Inks.  I glued that onto the black cardstock and POOF, I had a super cool and very easy background.  I used the adorable Halloween Postage Stamp Set to stamp ALL those cute little words and images.  The Halloween Postage Stamp Set is the only set I used on this card.
My photo also showcases the awesome Creepy Crawly Confetti Mix.  These awesome Sequin Mixes are great for making shaker cards and are also helpful as photo props as I've done here today.  I love using the Sequin Mixes in my photos, and of course as cute accents on my cards.  I LOVE that they come in literally every color you can imagine, which makes them the perfect finishing touch on any card or project.
Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you'll stop by Whimsy Stamps to look around, and then perhaps do some searching on social media for some Whimsy Stamps inspiration to get your creativity flowing.  There are so many talented artists on the Whimsy Stamps Design Teams, so you're sure to find some art that will make you say "I can make that".  Treat yourself to some new stamps and dies at Whimsy Stamps, and.....have a BOO-tiful day.

Here's where I'm sharing my creep little card:

Two Old Bats Halloween Challenge - July: Anything Goes Halloween

Halloween & Other Occasions Challenge - Challenge #16 - This fun Halloween card is a perfect fit for this challenge and I'm happy to play along when I can.

Blessings,
Karen
