Home Sweet Haunted Home w/Whimsy Stamps

BOO!  Are you ready for Halloween?  While I'm not biggest fan of Halloween, at Whimsy Stamps, it's a BIG deal.  And Whimsy Stamps has so many great Halloween stamps, dies, papers and rub-ons to help you create the cutest cards.  This one I'm sharing today combines two of their Halloween sets as well as a really cute Slimline Die.

I used white cardstock and cut my Slimline using the adorable Scallop Slimline Die.  I rubbed each section of the paper with different oxide inks to create my "spooky" background.  I used the sweet Halloween Postage Stamp Set for the spider webs, bats, spiders, and ghosts.  The sentiment is from the Home Sweet Haunted Home. Stamp Set.  They pair together nicely.

The cute little sprinkles are one of the Confetti Mixes, and it's called Creepy Crawlers.  I absolutely LOVE the Confetti Mixes because you can use them for shaker cards, photo props, or just as accents on your cards.  Each Confetti Mix is different, and you can find just the right colors and themes to accent any project.  It's SO much fun creating with Whimsy Stamps.

Home Sweet Haunted Home w/Whimsy

Whimsy Stamps is SO MUCH FUN, and you're always sure to find many amazing stamps, dies, stencils, embossing folders, patterned papers, Confetti Mixes and much more.  Every set I've gotten has been easy to use and super exciting to boot.  Even if you're not a big fan of Halloween (like me), you're still sure to find the perfect style for your crafting needs.  I just keep falling more and more in love with their awesome products.

Basic black cardstock was used for the base of this card.  That was layered with white watercolor paper that I rubbed with oxide inks to create that fabulously spooky background.  I cut the frame using the Mix & Match Scalloped Rectangle Dies.  I use this set A LOT because it's so versatile.  It contains three sizes of rectangles and scallops.  I splattered this inky background with water for that spotted look.

I used the Home Sweet Haunted Home Stamp Set for both of the images (house and sentiment).  The sentiment is a little bit hard to read simply because I used watercolor paper which has tiny grooves.  The tiny little bats you see flying all around my card are found in the Halloween Postage Stamp Set which is filled with darling little Halloween images.  I tied a piece of cheesecloth around my card and tied a knot with it.  And of course....I couldn't forget to add some Confetti Mix to my photo.  CUTE!

BOO Y'all w/Whimsy Stamps

Hello creative friends, and welcome back by my blog today as I share another FUN card I created for Whimsy Stamps.  There are so many great Halloween themed stamps and dies at Whimsy Stamps in various themes (i.e. scary, creepy, humorous, cute, etc.).  I typically tend to create what's considered to be a bit more like "cute" Halloween cards.  Please tell me.....is this card "cute"?  Or is CREEPY?  I'd love to hear your honest thoughts.

The awesome Home Sweet Haunted Home Stamp Set was used to create this card.  First, I rubbed white cardstock with various colors of oxide ink to create a fun background.  Then I used a sentiment and the silhouette image from the Home Sweet Haunted Home Stamp Set to create this lovely scene.  Once I'd stamped everything, I used the inside rectangle dies from the Mix & Match Scalloped Rectangle Frame Dies.

As you look at these photos, you'll see the sprinkles all around the card that include the spiders, ghosts, pumpkins, black balls, purple balls, green stars, and white w/black spider webs can all be found in the wonderfully spooky Creepy Crawlers Confetti Mix.  I love all these fabulous Sequin Mixes that can be used in shaker cards, as photo props, and in SO many different ways.
