Be Blessed w/Creative Worship Stamps

I'm so glad to have you stop by my blog to visit me and say hello.  Today I'm sharing another card that features the beautiful Stamp of the Month from Creative Worship Stamps.  You can get this lovely Wonderful Words of Life Stamp Set for FREE with your $75 purchase.  Why not stock up on some Tim Holtz Oxide Ink Pads and Sprays and possibly a few new stamp sets?  It's a great time to restock some of those products and pick up a FREE gift (and gorgeous one at that) in the process?  Go ahead....you've earned it.

I used Natural White 100lb. Cardstock from CutCardStock for my base as well as for each layer.  The first layer is plain, the second layer was stencilled using the Oval Mesh Stencil and the Jumbled Diamonds Stencil from Creative Worship Stamps.  Next, I stamped the scribbly words found in the Peaceful Botanicals Stamp Set using Hickory Smoke Oxide Ink.  And then, I sprayed it with Peeled Paint Distress Spray.

The top (third) layer of cardstock was stamped with gold ink using the gorgeous NEW Stamp of the Month I mentioned above.  It's called, obviously, Wonderful Words of Life Stamp Set and it's so very pretty.  The last things I did was stamp the sentiment (be blessed) using the Typed Thoughts Stamp Set which offers a coordinating set of Typed Thoughts Dies.  How perfect.  A piece of pretty Seam Binding was the finishing touch.

You know how some cards are just SO much prettier in real life?  Well, this is one of those cards.  These photos don't really show how pretty the Wonderful Words of Life stamp shimmers in gold ink.  You also can't really see all the amazing texture or the glimmer of the Winsor & Newton Gold Ink I added.  I will tell you this, however......you'll always find gorgeous stamps, dies, stencils, inks and more when you shop at Creative Worship Stamps.

BOO Y'all w/Whimsy Stamps

Hello creative friends, and welcome back by my blog today as I share another FUN card I created for Whimsy Stamps.  There are so many great Halloween themed stamps and dies at Whimsy Stamps in various themes (i.e. scary, creepy, humorous, cute, etc.).  I typically tend to create what's considered to be a bit more like "cute" Halloween cards.  Please tell me.....is this card "cute"?  Or is CREEPY?  I'd love to hear your honest thoughts.

The awesome Home Sweet Haunted Home Stamp Set was used to create this card.  First, I rubbed white cardstock with various colors of oxide ink to create a fun background.  Then I used a sentiment and the silhouette image from the Home Sweet Haunted Home Stamp Set to create this lovely scene.  Once I'd stamped everything, I used the inside rectangle dies from the Mix & Match Scalloped Rectangle Frame Dies.

As you look at these photos, you'll see the sprinkles all around the card that include the spiders, ghosts, pumpkins, black balls, purple balls, green stars, and white w/black spider webs can all be found in the wonderfully spooky Creepy Crawlers Confetti Mix.  I love all these fabulous Sequin Mixes that can be used in shaker cards, as photo props, and in SO many different ways.

Life Is Delicious w/Brutus Monroe

Well, believe it or not, this is my last post for Brutus Monroe.  I've been on their Inspiration Box Design Team for the past six months; and this is the end.  I trust that God has great new things ahead for me, so I'm not sad about stepping down from this team.  But in the meantime.....just look at this CUTE card that I made using the new Sugar & Spice Inspiration Box.  I also used a brand new Brutus Monroe Embossing Powder on the background.

Each Inspiration Box contains several sheets of various colored cardstocks, so I used the black cardstock for my base.  My second layer was a piece of white cardstock that I stamped and embossed with a brand new golden Embossing Powder from Brutus Monroe.  It has a cool shimmer to it, so I'm trying to get you a photo at an angle where you see the glimmer it gives your card.  Kinda like a like glitter dusting, only it's inside the embossing powder.  Really cool!

So after I embossed the background, I rubbed various yellow/gold Tim Holtz Oxide Inks onto the background to create an ombre effect.  Since I had this cool golden background, I stamped the cake three times, colored it in yellow/gold Copic colors, added some glitter to the frosting, and used the coordinating die-cuts to cut the cakes.  I placed some on 3-D Foam Tape to raise them, and adhered them to the card.  I used a sentiment strip to create the cute sentiment "Life Is Delicious" at the top.

The little hearts and dots are also found in the Sugar & Spice Stamp and Die Set included in this Inspiration Box.  The cute small accent stamps are super fun to fill in bare spaces as I did here.  I also added a red bow using the silky ribbon found in the Inspiration Box, as well as a few sequins.  I don't think there's any possible way you could go wrong with this DARLING Inspiration Box.  Everything I've created is super cute just because these stamps, dies and goodies are SO super cute.

S'more Than You Know & Butterfly Wishes

Welcome to my blog!  Thanks so much for stopping by today as I share several sweet cards that I created for Brutus Monroe using their ADORABLE Butterfly Wishes Inspiration Box and Picnic Pals Inspiration Box.  There are a lot of great Inspiration Boxes at Brutus Monroe; and I've had loads of fun creating with each and every one of them.  However, I think I'd have to say that the Picnic Pals Inspiration Box is probably my favorite thus far.  I mean, come on....how CUTE are the little campers and images?  I was SO tickled from the moment I opened it, and I haven't put it away since I received it.  Then, a new Inspiration Box arrives, and the excitement begins again.

For this card, I started with a white cardstock base.  If I haven't already mentioned this, each and every wonderful Inspiration Box comes with various cardstocks as well as the cards themselves.  I attached a patterned paper to the white cardstock base, and then I took another piece of white cardstock and added a cool background using Tim Holtz Oxide Ink.  Next, I machine stitched that background to the base.

Each Inspiration Box also includes several adorable foiling sheets (these can be used the way I use them, which is without foiling them) as well as sentiment sheets with strips of fun sentiments.  I used one of the sentiment strips for this card.  I also used the darling Picnic Pals Stamps and Dies to stamp and cut the sun, birds, smores and camper girl.  CUTE!  Some of the other cute things you'll find in each Inspiration Box include the ribbons and sequins.  I ran the red silk ribbon across my card and added some of the pretty sequins.

My next two cards feature the new Butterfly Wishes Inspiration Box, and this box is SWEET.  The stamp set and dies include wonderful images such as various beautiful butterflies, bugs and winged insects.  They are amazing, and again....versatile.  This first card uses one of the larger butterflies in this set.  I used a Stencil on the background, and some Tim Holtz Oxide Inks for the background.

Each Inspiration Box comes with a gorgeous Sequin Assortment, and I used a few of them on this card.  I just LOVE all the pretty details in the wings of this butterfly.  I used my Copics to color all those gorgeous little pieces in his wings.  The stamps always produce crisp clean images with great detail.  The sentiment on this first card (thanks) was cut from one of the foiling sheets included in the Inspiration Box.

The second card I created with this set uses the dragonfly image.  Like I mentioned earlier, this set has various butterflies, dragonflies, bugs, insects, etc. as well as several wonderful sentiments which give the set added versatility.  I used one of the sentiments from the stamp set (Spread Your Wings) found in the Butterfly Wishes Inspiration Box.  This card also uses some of the pretty Sequins and silky Turquoise Ribbon all found in the Butterfly Wishes Inspiration Box.

There's just SO much fun and creative potential waiting for you in each Inspiration Box from Brutus Monroe.  I think you'll LOVE the Picnic Pals Inspiration Box and Butterfly Wishes Inspiration Box as much as I do, and that you'll find it quite easy to create CUTE cards using these products.  There's SO many great products waiting for you at Brutus Monroe.  Thanks so much for stopping by, and have a great week.

CAS on Sunday - Challenge #212 - Butterfly - I used a brand new butterfly stamp/die set from Brutus Monroe

TIME OUT Challenges: Challenge #195 - Colored Cardstock Base - I used a TURQUOISE/blue base layered with a black cardstock on my second card (the butterfly card), so that's the one I'm entering in this challenge.  I love using a colorful card base.

TOGETHER

Together is my favorite place to be.  What a CUTE sentiment; and it's so true.  Being alone is nice sometimes, and we all need a bit of time by ourselves now and then to think (and do other things).  Yet somehow it's always more FUN when we can get together with those we love.  The new Picnic Pals Inspiration Box from Brutus Monroe is a darling box of creativity that helps us celebrate togetherness.  How adorable are these images?

As I mentioned in my post last week, I literally let out a squeal when I opened the Picnic Pals Inspiration Box.  So far, I've loved every box I've received; and I've made oodles of cute cards with them.  BUT....the Picnic Pals Inspiration Box is just SO stinking cute.  I just CAN'T with these darling little campers and all their adorable campground images.  CUTENESS overload.  Right?

I used a white cardstock and a Crate Paper Farmhouse red plaid patterned paper for my base.  I also machine stitched a white cardstock to the base of my card; but not before I created a fun background using Tim Holtz Oxide Inks and stamping the sentiment.  There are over 30 images in the full-sized Picnic Pals Stamp Set that comes in this Inspiration Box, as well as the 30+ coordinating dies.  I stamped my images, colored them with my Copic markers, and die-cut each piece.

I attached everything to my card base so that it all looked like a campground scene.  I just LOVE the adorable kids/campers in their camping attire.  And....how CUTE are the marshmallow skewers, sleeping bag, and birds?  I did raise up the birds a bit using 3-D Adhesive so that they look like they're "flying".  The Picnic Pals Inspiration Box also contains the cards (so I don't have to go out and buy them once I've made my cards) as well as the cute sequin mix you see in the background.  There are also ribbons, foiling sheets, cardstocks and SO much more.  Each Inspiration Box is filled with everything you need to create adorable cards.

Follow Your Dreams w/Brutus Monroe

Welcome by my blog today, everyone.  It's always so good to have you stop by to see what I've been creating and say hello.  I appreciate your visits more than you can possible know.  By the way, if you're not following my blog yet; I'd LOVE to have you become a new follower.  I'm getting ever closer to that big 1,000 followers mark, and I'd really appreciate your help in getting me there.  It's been a LONG time coming.

Today I'm sharing a FUN card that I made using the Brutus Monroe Reach For The Stars Inspiration Box.  I started with some of the pretty cardstocks found in the Inspiration Box to create my base.  Next, I used some Denim Tim Holtz Oxide Ink to create my cosmic background.  I used the adorable stamp set found in the Reach For The Stars Inspiration Box to stamp the stars and little images in the backdrop as well as the darling astronaut, shooting star and sentiment.

When I was "finished", I looked at my card and felt that it just needed a tiny little something more.  Luckily, each Inspiration Box contains a lovely Sequin  Mixture.  I used a few of the pretty sequins to give my card that extra touch it needed.  POOF!  Finished.  The Inspiration Boxes from Brutus Monroe are like getting a big box full of inspiration.  I love opening each box and feeling all these creative ideas rush into my mind.  The Inspiration Box always helps me get my creative mojo up and running.
