We Must Ketchup

You're back, and I'm SO grateful!  Thanks for visiting me again.  Today I'm sharing another FUN card I created for Brutus Monroe using their adorable (and super fun) Picnic Pals Inspiration Box.  Yes, I'm having loads of fun creating with all the wonderful goodies included in this amazing Inspiration Box.  In fact, I can't seem to put it away because it's just SO cute.  The ideas just keep popping into my head, and I can use a different sentiment and scene each time due to the wonderful versatility of the Inspiration Boxes.
This particular card started with a black cardstock base, and I also added some patterned paper scraps and length of the pretty white silk ribbon from the Inspiration Box.  I used Tim Holtz Oxide Inks to create my background colors.  The star of this card is the ADORABLE camper boy in his cute camping outfit.  He and the sun, bunny, picnic spread and foods are all images from the Picnic Pals Inspiration Box.  Let me just say that the Picnic Pals Inspiration Box is FULL of darling items.
As I've mentioned before, each Inspiration Box includes several wonderful (foiling) sheets and sentiment sheets.  These sentiment sheets make it possible for you to have a different sentiment on each card you create.  I just LOVE this.  For this card, I cut the sentiment strip into smaller pieces and placed them on my card to compliment the picnic items.  Our little camper is roasting s'mores and getting ready for his picnic with friends.  The ribbons and sequins in each Inspiration Box are always great accents as well.  There's no shortage of wonderful products in the Brutus Monroe Inspiration Boxes.
I'm also sharing a cute card I created using the Butterfly Wishes Inspiration Box.  As you can likely guess (if you haven't already seen), the stamp/die set in this Inspiration Box has the most beautiful butterflies in it.  AND......it has several creepy fun BUGS.  I created this card using some of the bug stamps and dies from the Butterfly Wishes Inspiration Box.  The bugs are "creepy", but they're also kinda pretty.  Well, at least I think they're colored with pretty colors; and I do think that there are many beautifully colored bugs and insects in nature.  I had fun making some of the small spiders bright colors.  I used several Tim Holtz Oxide Inks.  I also used one of the sentiment strip sheets from the Inspiration Box to cut my sentiment.  Along with a length of Grey Baker's Twine that I wrapped & tied around my card, some of the pretty sequins from the Sequin Assortment found in the Inspiration Box were the finishing touches.
Thank you again for visiting me today.  I will never grow old of your visits and comments, and I hope you know that I'm SO grateful for you.  I hope you'll stop by the Brutus Monroe Blog for even more inspiration, and possibly visit Brutus Monroe for some FUN shopping.  They carry so many BIG name brands as well as the wide variety of Brutus Monroe products - such as the wonderful Inspiration Boxes (and so much more).  Have a super fun and creative day, friends.

Blessings,
Karen

I'm playing along here in these FUN challenges:

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog - Simon Says "STAMP IT in STAMPtember" - I used stamps from Brutus Monroe on these cards.

Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog - Simon Says "Glimmer and Sparkle" so I added some sweet little colorful sequins to my cards so that they'll will sparkle when the lights hit them.  I also love that some insects "sparkle" if you look at their wings.  I added sequins to this card because I do love the shiny element to a bug's wings.

Time Out Challenge Blog - Challenge #195 - Use a Colored Cardstock Background/Base - I used a BLACK cardstock base for both of these cards.  FUN challenge, Time Out.

S'more Than You Know & Butterfly Wishes

Welcome to my blog!  Thanks so much for stopping by today as I share several sweet cards that I created for Brutus Monroe using their ADORABLE Butterfly Wishes Inspiration Box and Picnic Pals Inspiration Box.  There are a lot of great Inspiration Boxes at Brutus Monroe; and I've had loads of fun creating with each and every one of them.  However, I think I'd have to say that the Picnic Pals Inspiration Box is probably my favorite thus far.  I mean, come on....how CUTE are the little campers and images?  I was SO tickled from the moment I opened it, and I haven't put it away since I received it.  Then, a new Inspiration Box arrives, and the excitement begins again.
For this card, I started with a white cardstock base.  If I haven't already mentioned this, each and every wonderful Inspiration Box comes with various cardstocks as well as the cards themselves.  I attached a patterned paper to the white cardstock base, and then I took another piece of white cardstock and added a cool background using Tim Holtz Oxide Ink.  Next, I machine stitched that background to the base.
Each Inspiration Box also includes several adorable foiling sheets (these can be used the way I use them, which is without foiling them) as well as sentiment sheets with strips of fun sentiments.  I used one of the sentiment strips for this card.  I also used the darling Picnic Pals Stamps and Dies to stamp and cut the sun, birds, smores and camper girl.  CUTE!  Some of the other cute things you'll find in each Inspiration Box include the ribbons and sequins.  I ran the red silk ribbon across my card and added some of the pretty sequins.
My next two cards feature the new Butterfly Wishes Inspiration Box, and this box is SWEET.  The stamp set and dies include wonderful images such as various beautiful butterflies, bugs and winged insects.  They are amazing, and again....versatile.  This first card uses one of the larger butterflies in this set.  I used a Stencil on the background, and some Tim Holtz Oxide Inks for the background.
Each Inspiration Box comes with a gorgeous Sequin Assortment, and I used a few of them on this card.  I just LOVE all the pretty details in the wings of this butterfly.  I used my Copics to color all those gorgeous little pieces in his wings.  The stamps always produce crisp clean images with great detail.  The sentiment on this first card (thanks) was cut from one of the foiling sheets included in the Inspiration Box.
The second card I created with this set uses the dragonfly image.  Like I mentioned earlier, this set has various butterflies, dragonflies, bugs, insects, etc. as well as several wonderful sentiments which give the set added versatility.  I used one of the sentiments from the stamp set (Spread Your Wings) found in the Butterfly Wishes Inspiration Box.  This card also uses some of the pretty Sequins and silky Turquoise Ribbon all found in the Butterfly Wishes Inspiration Box.
There's just SO much fun and creative potential waiting for you in each Inspiration Box from Brutus Monroe.  I think you'll LOVE the Picnic Pals Inspiration Box and Butterfly Wishes Inspiration Box as much as I do, and that you'll find it quite easy to create CUTE cards using these products.  There's SO many great products waiting for you at Brutus Monroe.  Thanks so much for stopping by, and have a great week.

Blessings,
Karen

Picnic Pals With Brutus Monroe

It's Wednesday again, and that means that it's my turn to share another FUN project for Brutus Monroe.  Today I'm sharing another sweet card I created using the ADORABLE Picnic Pals Inspiration Box from Brutus Monroe.  I will never grow tired of this sweet Inspiration Box.  The stamps and dies are adorable, and I haven't even used them all yet.  This lovely full-sized Picnic Pals Stamp Set (with coordinating dies) contains over 30 images and each is just as cute as the next.
Each Inspiration Box contains cardstocks, cards, ribbons, sequins, foiling sheets, sentiment sheets, and SO many other sweet products.  I'm in LOVE with this Inspiration Box (in case you haven't noticed....LOL) and every card I've made so far has turned out so cute.  The ideas just keep running through my mind; and that's what I love so much about the Brutus Monroe Inspiration Boxes.....they're SO creatively inspiring.  You won't have any trouble coming up with ideas when you open one of these  FAB Inspiration Boxes.
I used some cardstocks to create my base, and I ran a length of the gorgeous red silky ribbon across my card underneath the foiling sheet.  I didn't foil the sheet.  I simply cut it (the cute white paper with black ants) and inked the edges with Tim Holtz Distress Ink.  I also cut an image (picnic blanket) from one of the foiling sheets, and I placed it under the picnic basket.  The boy camper, picnic basket, mushroom, sunshine and skewers are all images you'll find in the Picnic Pals Inspiration Box.  Quite honestly, just getting the Picnic Pals Stamp Set and Dies  alone are well worth the purchase price ($34.99) of the Inspiration Box.  But....you get all these extras included to help you create the sweetest cards.
I also added a few of the pretty sequins from the Sequin Mix included in the Inspiration Box.  There's always a pretty sequin mix in each Inspiration Box.  I like using them on  my cards as well as using them as a photo prop.  I used one of the sentiment sheets and I cut my sentiment into smaller strips to fit on my card where I needed them.  You get sentiments in the Picnic Pals Stamp Set; but you get loads of extra sentiments from the sheets included in the Inspiration Box.  This helps you expand your options even further.
Thanks so much for stopping by to visit me today, and please stop by again soon.  I always appreciate your visits so much.  There's also lots of great inspiration on the Brutus Monroe Blog in addition to some great shopping (and sales) at Brutus Monroe.  Have a blessed and creative week, everyone.

I'm sharing my card here in this FUN challenge:

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog - Add a Sentiment.  I added my sentiment using a sentiment strip that I cut into several little pieces.

Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog - Dry Embossing - I used one embossing folder on this card.  It's a shiplap die from The Greetery.  It was cut from a piece of brown cardstock (over the black base) and it was "dirtied" with dark brown ink.

TOGETHER

Together is my favorite place to be.  What a CUTE sentiment; and it's so true.  Being alone is nice sometimes, and we all need a bit of time by ourselves now and then to think (and do other things).  Yet somehow it's always more FUN when we can get together with those we love.  The new Picnic Pals Inspiration Box from Brutus Monroe is a darling box of creativity that helps us celebrate togetherness.  How adorable are these images?
As I mentioned in my post last week, I literally let out a squeal when I opened the Picnic Pals Inspiration Box.  So far, I've loved every box I've received; and I've made oodles of cute cards with them.  BUT....the Picnic Pals Inspiration Box is just SO stinking cute.  I just CAN'T with these darling little campers and all their adorable campground images.  CUTENESS overload.  Right?
I used a white cardstock and a Crate Paper Farmhouse red plaid patterned paper for my base.  I also machine stitched a white cardstock to the base of my card; but not before I created a fun background using Tim Holtz Oxide Inks and stamping the sentiment.  There are over 30 images in the full-sized Picnic Pals Stamp Set that comes in this Inspiration Box, as well as the 30+ coordinating dies.  I stamped my images, colored them with my Copic markers, and die-cut each piece.
I attached everything to my card base so that it all looked like a campground scene.  I just LOVE the adorable kids/campers in their camping attire.  And....how CUTE are the marshmallow skewers, sleeping bag, and birds?  I did raise up the birds a bit using 3-D Adhesive so that they look like they're "flying".  The Picnic Pals Inspiration Box also contains the cards (so I don't have to go out and buy them once I've made my cards) as well as the cute sequin mix you see in the background.  There are also ribbons, foiling sheets, cardstocks and SO much more.  Each Inspiration Box is filled with everything you need to create adorable cards.
You can always find lots of great inspiration on the Brutus Monroe Blog and the Brutus Monroe Facebook Page.  I make my Brutus Monroe posts every Wednesday, and I'd love to have you stop by often to see what I'm creating.  You can find the Inspiration Boxes, as well as hundreds of other wonderful products at Brutus Monroe.  Thanks so much for stopping by, and have a blessed week.

You Make Life A Picnic

Hey there, sweet blog friends!  Welcome by today as I share a super sweet card that I created for Brutus Monroe using their DARLING new Picnic Pals Inspiration Box.  I literally SQUEALED out loud when I first opened this Inspiration Box.  The stamp set and coordinating dies that come in the Picnic Pals Inspiration Box are absolutely ADORABLE and I was so super excited to start creating with them.
Each Inspiration Box comes with several sheets of colored cardstocks to coordinate with the kit.  I used some white and some black cardstock to create my card base, and I added a small piece of black and white striped patterned paper.  Each Inspiration Box also comes with an assortment of three different colored silk ribbons; and I laid a length of the red silk ribbon across my card to create a border.  At the top of the card, I added another piece of white cardstock and that's where I placed the "fun stuff".
Using the sweet stamps and dies found in the Picnic Pals Inspiration Box, I used Black Soot Tim Holtz Oxide Ink and stamped the sentiment and the ants, picnic basket, French bread and hamburger which I colored with my Copic markers.  I also created some sloppy, messy "splotches" at the top of the card just for added color and fun.  That's really all there was to it.  These stamps and dies are SO cute, and I really wanted to use some of them as the focal point of this card.
Oh my heart!!!!  This entire stamp set is SO cute, and I can't wait to create more cards with this FUN Picnic Pals Inspiration Box.  I hope you'll stop by each Wednesday to see more of my creations.  You can also find lots of great inspiration on the Brutus Monroe Facebook Page and the Brutus Monroe Blog.  And, the Brutus Monroe store carries SO many great brands we all love.  I hope you'll check it out and see what they have. I sure enjoy creating with my Brutus Monroe products, and I think you'll enjoy them as well.  Have a great week, and thanks again for stopping by.

Blessings,
Karen
