Sending Love w/ Stamp Simply

Stamp Simply Clear Stamps is such an amazing company.  This wonderful store is filled with the sweetest stamps, dies, stencils, embossing folders and much more.  They carry every scripture stamp, sentiment, and image you could possibly desire to help you make the lovely cards and projects.  I'm sharing a card of encouragement today using one of their gorgeous stamp sets.

This card started with basic black cardstock that I layered with a piece of Tim Holtz Watercolor Cardstock Paper.  On that piece of watercolor cardstock, I created a pretty background using the Tim Holtz Stencil and some Paper Luxe Glaze to add color and texture.  There are lots of great Stencils available at Stamp Simply.

Next, I used the lovely Vintage Peony Stamp Set to create the lovely flower.  I used watercolors to paint it, and then I cut it using the Vintage Peony Dies.  I splattered everything just a bit using some Opaque Pale Yellow Paper Splatter and cream acrylic paint.  The sweet sentiment and bees are also found in the Vintage Peony Stamp Set.  I cut the sentiment strip using a Fishtail Banner Die and placed it on 3-D Foam Tabs.

Peony Seed Packet Card w/Stamp Simply

Hello friends, and welcome by my blog today.  I'm sharing a pretty card that I created for Stamp Simply using a few of their wonderful products.  With Christmas behind us now, we look to Spring and Easter.  They will be here before we know it; and as always, Stamp Simply has all the perfect crafting products to help you crate beautiful cards all year long.

I started with kraft cardstock that I used to stamp the Vintage Seed Packet Background.  I cut out the center oval using the coordinating Vintage Seed Packet Dies, and I raised up the background portion to give it some dimension.  Next, I stamped the pretty peony using the Peony Stamp Set.  I colored this lovely flower using my Copics, and cut it out with the coordinating Peony Dies.  The cute little bumble bees are also found in the Peony Stamp Set.

The finishing touches on this card include some pretty Seam Binding that I tied into bows.  All of the stamps and dies from Stamp Simply work well on their own and when combined with other Stamp Simply products.  The pretty pink polka dot patterned paper I used on the background is found in the Craft Consortium Bright Blooms 6x6 Paper Pad.  The inside of this card is also decorated.  I used the (cut) oval and stamped it with the sentiments from these two stamp sets.  I stamped the Peony Stamp again and cut off just the top bloom.  I also used an awesome patterned paper from the Scorched Wood 6x6 Paper Pad and left it open so that I could tuck in a gift card.

Pretty Peony New Release at Stamp Simply

If you're not yet aware, there's a gorgeous New Release at Stamp Simply Clear Stamps and you won't want to miss any of it.  Today I'm sharing a double-layered card that features the beautiful new Peony Stamp Set.  It is absolutely lovely.  One of my favorite things about Stamp Simply is how each of their wonderful stamp sets works beautifully on its own; or when combined with other Stamp Simply sets.

I used the lovely swirls found in the new Peony Stamp Set to create the swirled background design.  I also pressure embossed this white cardstock background using the Darice Dainty Flower Embossing Folder.  I just love those adorable bumble bees, the wonderful sentiments and that amazing floral image.  I used the Fishtail Banner Dies to cut my sentiment strip.

Some ribbon was added to my flower as the finishing touch.  I used the coordinating Peony Dies to cut the circle from the center of the card.  This die allows you to see the floral image peeking through from the other side.  I took some photos of this by stamping the new Seed Packet Stamp onto a second piece of white cardstock.

I hope you can see what I mean about the circular Peony Dies.  You can see the pressure embossed circle through the cut hole where I placed the lovely peony floral.  I also stamped the cute little ants climbing around the bottom of the page....just as they would in your garden.  How cute!
