Really Reasonable Ribbon June Blog Hop

It's time for the EXCITING Really Reasonable Ribbon monthly Blog Hop; and for the Month of June, the theme is Summer and bright colors.  One of the many things I love so much about Really Reasonable Ribbon is their wide variety of ribbons and trims.  There's literally every style, every width, every texture and design, and....I could go on and on with more examples and I'd still forget to mention everything from this awesome store.  You should have arrived here from Misty's Sweet Blog; but if not, you can catch the line-up on the RRR Blog.  One lucky person who leaves a comment on each blog will WIN a $10 credit at Really Reasonable Ribbon AND a digital stamp set of choice from Bonnie Garby Designs.  The card I'm sharing today features ribbons from RRR and a sentiment from Bonnie Garby Designs.
I used white cardstock and one patterned paper.  The other pieces that appear pink are white cardstock rubbed with Spun Sugar and Picked Berries Oxide Inks.  I used Heavy Gesso and a cool Stencil to create my textured background.  I sprinkled some pink glitter onto portions of the wet Gesso.  I ran a length of Black & White Bold Check Ribbon and a piece of Medium Pink Gingham Ribbon down the left side of my card.
The texture from the Heavy Gesso is lovely; especially dusted lightly with glitter.  I tried to stencil more of it onto the sentiment pieces, but didn't want to cover the words on this delightful sentiment from Bonnie Garby Designs.  It can be found in the Spring Digital Stamp Set.  I also incorporated some White Iridescent String and some Light Gingham Ribbon into my bow.  I topped it all with an Ivory Sweetheart Blossom.
There are SO MANY great trims at Really Reasonable Ribbon in addition to Adhesives, Mulberry Flowers, Embellishments and much more.  Your next and final stop on this Blog Hop is at the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog where you'll answer the final question.  However, please be sure that you've left a comment on each DT Member's Blog.  Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today and have a great week.

Blessings,
Karen

Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog Hop

It's time for the November Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog Hop.  You should have arrived here today by way of Bonine's Blog; but if not, you can catch up quickly.  This is a short hop and you need to leave a comment at each stop to be eligible for the PRIZES.  One lucky person will WIN a $10 gift certificate to Really Reasonable Ribbon and one digital sheet of stamps from Bonnie Garby Designs.
The card I'm sharing with you today combines a digital stamp (sentiment) from Bonnie Garby Designs with some fabulous trims from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  I did a bit of coloring on the images in the sentiment which is from the Vintage Christmas Sentiments Bundle.  I cut the sentiment with the Crimped Frames Die from The Greetery.  I added a couple of stickers and a patterned paper from an old Crate Paper Christmas collection.
The 3-D ornament is also found in this old Christmas collection.  I added a small piece of looped Ivory Burlap String to the top of the Christmas ornament.  I ran a length of Bay Leaf Seam Binding across my card and tied a pretty bow with it.  I also tucked in several Double Head Stamens and I topped my bow with a fabric-covered brad from the Crate Paper Christmas collection.
Your final stop on this short Blog Hop is at the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog where you will answer one final question.  Thanks so much for leaving me your comment.  I wish you the best of luck in the random draw - especially if YOU have actually followed the rules.  Oh, and when you need any ribbons, twines, trims, etc., be sure to stop by Really Reasonable Ribbon.

I'm linking up in these fun challenges:

Peace On Earth Challenge Blog - Challenge #51 - I love the inspiration photo, but I sorta did my own thing here.  LOL

Colorful Inspirations Challenge Blog - November: Red - I didn't use a lot of red on my card, but I had to use some or it wouldn't be a Christmas card?????

Blessings,
Karen

It's Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog Hop Time

Welcome to the RRR Blog Hop.  You should have arrived here from Bonnie's Blog; but if not, you can catch up quickly as this is a short/quick Blog Hop.  I'm so glad you're here; and you will be too because YOU could be the lucky WINNER of this month's Blog Hop with Really Reasonable Ribbon.  We're showcasing the July Ribbon Club Assortment (shown below) and one lucky commenter will WIN this gorgeous assortment.  There are only six (6) stops on this hop, so it won't take you long at all.  Just leave a comment on each blog, get some fabulous inspiration, and you just might win this lovely assortment of ribbons.
Most months I like to share a hair bow that showcases all, or at least most, of the trims included in each month's Ribbon Club Assortment.  Because I am SO IN LOVE with this month's colors and ribbons, I couldn't resist sharing a hair bow AND a card.  I used black cardstock for my base.  A piece of simple white watercolor paper that I inked with Tim Holtz Oxide Inks created the background.  The ribbons are the real beauties here.
The sentiment was stamped over the inked background using a Stamp Simply scripture sentiment.  Because this card will be hand delivered, I was able to create a super cute matching envelope for this card.  It always makes card-giving more fun when you hand someone a card with a darling envelope that matches the card inside.  A small snippet of the Ribbon that was left over from the card made the perfect accent.  Never waste those ribbon or paper scraps.  Right?
In addition to the ribbons from the Ribbon Club Assortment, I also added some bundled Pink Burlap String, a Mulberry Leaf, some Miniature Double Head Stamens, and a beautiful (purple) Pastel Magnolia Flower.  There's absolutely no end to the things you can create with RIBBONS and trims.  And so, I'm sharing this pretty hair bow with y'all as well.
This bow includes a length of each trim found in this month's Ribbon Club Assortment, it has a pretty Embellishment in the center, and it's secured on the back side with an Alligator Clip.   Aren't the colors and prints in this month's Assortment just SO beautiful?  I'm so in love with this month's Ribbon Club Assortment, and I hope you'll grab yourself a set before they're sold out.  I don't anticipate this collection lasting long.  It's just SO beautiful.
Your final stop on this Blog Hop is at the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog where you will answer the final question so that you'll be entered to win the prize.  Don't forget the comments along the way as well.  They mean so much to each of us.  We do hope our creations inspire you to get some ribbon and get creative.

I'm sharing my CARD (above) in the following:

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Simon Says "Make Your Own Background" - I used Tim Holtz Oxide Inks to create the background on my card.

Blessings,
Karen
