Top Flight Stamps & Word Art Wednesday

Yes!  That's right.  The wonderful Top Flight Stamps is sponsoring our challenge at Word Art Wednesday, and we would love to have you come play along with us for a chance to win this fabulous prize.
I don't happen to own any of their stamps yet, so I used some other fun products that I thought would frame and highlight this beautiful scripture from Psalms.  I rubbed Tim Holtz Oxide Inks on the scripture, the frame, and the circles.  The background is hand stamped using a fun new favorite of mine from Blank Page Muse.  The frame is from Taylored Expressions, and the circle dies are from Simon Says Stamp.
I've really been loving these bright colors lately....Citron, Lemonade, Kitsch, Speckled Egg, Concord Grape, Pumpkin and Spun Sugar.  They're all so pretty and fun.  I haven't met one of these wonderful inks that I haven't loved.  Anyway, that's how I came up with my bright, colorful and fun card to showcase this wonderful scripture from God's Word.
Please stop by Word Art Wednesday to play along with us for your chance to WIN a wonderful prize from Top Flight Stamps.  It's always more fun when you can join us.  Have a great week, everyone.

Blessings,
Karen

You Are Loved

Hi there, sweet blog friends!  Welcome by today and thanks for visiting me as I share a card that I created for the new challenge (and the first of the new year) at Word Art Wednesday.  If you hopped along in our 1st Annual Winter Blog Hop, I thank you.  You'll want to stop by the Word Art Wednesday Blog to see all the names of our winners.  We're sure grateful for your participation.  The new challenge starting today is being sponsored by the AWESOME Taylored Expressions.  One lucky participant will win a generous $30 gift certificate to the wonderful Taylored Expressions Store.  How cool is that?
For today's card, I was unable to use the free word art/scripture (digital file) for this challenge because our home printer finally died.  And because I'm the only one who ever uses it (for this purpose), it hasn't been a high priority to replace.  With the craziness of Christmas, it just hasn't happened yet.  And for that reason, I decided to support our awesome sponsor, Taylored Expressions, by using some of their fun products.  I didn't realize it until I went to link the products; but sadly, this sweet stamp set I used, called In My Heart, has been retired.  But there are still OODLES of wonderful products at this amazing store.  The three hearts and the sentiment are all from this (retired) In My Heart Stamp Set from Taylored Expressions.
I stamped the three different hearts from this sweet stamp set, and I hand cut the two smaller hearts.  I used a Papertrey Ink heart die to cut the largest heart and another PTI die for the white border.  The heart die didn't fit perfectly, but it worked.  I used some super stash patterned paper from Recollections, did some machine stitching, added some Red Wrinkle Ribbon, an Ivory Open Rose, and some pretty stick pins.  That's about it.
By the way, the WINNER of the prize from my blog during the Word Art Wednesday Blog Hop is Denise Bryant.  Congrats, Denise.  My BONUS prize goes to MiamiKel for her sweet comment.  A big thanks to everyone who hopped along with us.  We would LOVE to have you all stop by and play along in the new Anything Goes/Family Friendly challenge at Word Art Wednesday.  It's always more fun when YOU come play along.  Have a blessed week, everyone.

Karen
